Scheduling an appointment with them was fine. Two men came to complete the work and they did so in about an hour. I think that the price was fair based on the evaluation that they gave me. They did a good job with the work.

My garage doors sounded like machine gun fire going off in a barrel when they openned and closed. Legacy came out and adjusted the doors, put in new rollers and added rubber shock washers to the ceiling mounts. I can't believe they are the same doors. Smooth and quiet. Their service was great. Scheduling was easy. Came on time and quickly got the work done. Highly recommend.

Repairmen arrived a little earlier than scheduled, which worked out for me. Went right to work on door. Garage door opens and closes 100% quieter; doesn't sound like it's dropping to the ground. Work was done within 35 minutes. Very pleased with completed work.

Well, I chose to employ Legacy for the service becasue of the good reviews I had read on Angie's List site. I think they have done a good job. The house is rented to our friends who have been very patient with the inoperability of the door so I decided to take a quick decision in getting it fixed as we advanced into winter. My renters have not complained and are very satisfied with the job. Well done!

Garage door operation was intermittent; called Legacy (Angie's List coupon) to schedule a tuneup. They showed up ontime, did the tuneup, and diagnosed AND corrected the intermittent operation (aging sensors replaced). They were most professional, courteous, and informative. Have no problems recommending Legacy for any garage door difficulties.

Better service than most providers these days: Promptly answered phone when called for estimated and again for scheduling. Courteous, able to schedule quickly, showed up on time, worked quickly, stuck with quoted price and honored Angie's List coupon. Knowledgeable and professional, explained a couple problems with original garage door installation that are contributing to shorter life. Definitely recommend.

They called ahead and were on time. Took time to explain and show me the issue. Price still a bit high but would use them again instead of shopping around. After $40 coupon we paid $398

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was great. I was very impressed because they said they didn't run across my problem very often and they had the part on their truck. It was a very positive experience. They knew what they were doing. They were very pleasant. They were on time. About 2 weeks later my garage door wouldn't go down so I called them. They came back right away. They offered to come that day but I couldn't do that so they came the next day. It was something very simple. They just had to screw in something on the bottom. They said it was probably their fault and they did not charge me for the visit. They are really a good company. I paid an additional $300 because I needed that part.

I ordered the Angie's deal on Saturday, they called to schedule on Monday and were out here on Wednesday. They called to let me know they were running ahead of schedule and asked if it was ok that they come by early. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the entire process before he got started and then showed me the work afterward. I would highly recommend them.

Andrew and Josh were total professionals from start to finish. They clearly explained what was needed, and why it was necessary. With no pressure whatsoever, they explained what was required to get our 20 year old openers to work properly, and the advantages of replacing them with new, quieter models. They also installed vibration isolators on the new motors to minimize the noise and vibration in the living space above the garage. I did a lot of research before selecting Legacy Garage Doors, and I could not be happier with the result. They are a local, owner run company, which is also a plus. Highly recommend!

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was very good. They charged me more than the big deal, because I had them do additional services. I had them back a month later to do some more work for me. One of the springs broke and so they came in and replaced both springs and put on two more braces on the door. I also got another garage door opener.

The technician arrived on time & immediately began to replace what was purchased with the Big Deal. As he went thought the process he explained everything he was doing, as I like to know details. He also made suggestions on things I should have fixed w/ out pressuring my to get them done that day. I did have him replace a few extra parts of the garage door that were clearly giving way, to tell the truth his professionalism and attention to detail is what made me trust his recommendations. I felt them to be knowledgeable suggestions and not suggestions made to boost sales. After his job was done he cleared the garage of debris and even made sure my garage door opener and the keypad worked properly.

My experience with Legacy Garage Doors was fantastic from beginning to end. I was pretty strict on what I wanted in a garage door so I lined up five different estimates; Andrew and Josh from Legacy were the third. To give some background, our door was over fifteen years old, was banged up, was letting in water at the bottom, and had no insulation. Our motor was chain drive which meant it was really loud and actually vibrated the room directly above it. To top it off, the motor was no longer working properly and so we were treating the door like an emergency. Of all of the companies I met with, only Andrew and Josh offered to look at our motor when I told them the issue. As a matter of fact, after only two minutes of tinkering with the sensors, Andrew had the problem fixed. Even though I had two more companies lined up I was pretty much sold at that moment. In terms of price I was fairly surprised how things came out. There were two estimates that came in higher than theirs; one with a door with a lower R-value and one with an equal R-value. However, Legacy was one of only two companies that offered an R-value of 19 and they had a much better warranty than the other company. Not to mention beautiful windows that would also be equally insulated. Andrew and Josh were also very honest about the amount of work it would take to install all of the new parts. Problems that other installers told me about (like lack of space for the new tracks) they didn't see and they even told me about problems that the previous companies hadn't pointed out. Like the fact that the drywall on either side of our door was covering parts that would need to be replaced. They ended up installing 2x4s on either side of the new door to give the new door more support and honestly it also looks much cleaner. The belt drive motor is amazing. It is by far and away much better than what we had. Another selling point on the new motor was the fact that it came with a free keypad. When I spoke to all of the other companies, none of them offered a keypad and when you have members who tend to lock themselves out that is a great benefit. The installation went very well. They had to deal with really heavy rain so they were held up a little on putting the finishing hardware on the carriage door but otherwise things were great. The only glitch came when Andrew realized he'd forgotten the keypad. However, they returned a few days later with the keypad and everything was fine. The overall job turned out fantastic. We love our new door and we receive many compliments on it. Including one I just received today from the gentleman who came to give me an insulation estimate. It's much quieter, cleaner, we've noticed a marked difference between the outdoor and garage temperatures, we aren't seeing as many bugs, or as much rain under the door, and it makes our house look better. I recommend them all the time and will definitely continue to do so in the future.
