The owner was prompt and professional when bidding on the job. His pricing was in line with other estimates we had received. The painters were very neat...taping plastic sheeting on the floors and cleaning up afterwards. I appreciate the care they took with my home. I would definitely use them again.

Jeff came out and gave me a very fair estimate and a starting date. The crew arrived on time and was great. They did everything they said they would do and were very professional. Edwin made sure to ask me what colors to use on different areas... trim, garage doors, railings etc. Overall a great experience from start to finish. I highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

Great! Could not recommend this company highly enough. The price was very fair for the services we received, and any errors were resolved in a timely manner. We will be using them from now on. Do make sure that your contract has specifics in it, like to have our front door stained was a little bit extra, but we had assumed that would be in the contract. That was my fault, but just make sure you get the specifics covered. The owner was polite and professional and so were his crew.

I very enthusiastically recommend J. Stevens Painting! Every step of the way was smooth, professional, and optimal. The work was excellent, very top-quality! We needed some exterior painting done and window rot fixed. The exterior painting was our front deck. The trim and columns. There was also a little rot on the tops of the columns and caulking was needed in many areas. The last time this had been painted was about twelve years ago, so by this point it had become a dingy-grey color and was looking worn. Our front deck ceiling is high, and so painting the columns required a ladder. It's also a large space, a bit larger than your average front deck. None of this dismayed J. Stevens Painting though. The job was done in a very detail-oriented manner, with real quality workmanship. It's not easy to find painters who do a top-quality job, and so I'm thrilled to have found a company I can count on! Before the painting began, the owner came out to see what we needed done and to give an estimate. He was clean-cut, professional, punctual, and great with understanding and verifying our needs. He emailed us an estimate promptly. J. Stevens does more than just painting. They do some contracting work too. I do not know the breadth of all their work, but they did take care of exterior window rot for us. We had two windows that, due to their shaded surroundings, had gotten wood rot over the years. Aside from being unsightly, if it's not taken care of, the wood rot will worsen and spread, and you may then have to replace the entire wood frame or more. Our wood rot was only in several areas on these two windows. J. Stevens Painting did an excellent job fixing the window frames in these areas. I believe they cut out the sections that had wood rot and replaced them with new wood, then painted them, but I'm not certain. All I know is that the windows look great--no wood rot and the window frames look like they're brand-new! It is such a relief to have finally found a painting/contracting company we can rely on. We don't know much about contracting, and so often times we've gotten very high quotes from other companies, who try to take advantage of us. They see our large house and lack of expertise, and they try to overcharge us. So after getting many unbelievably high estimates from other companies, we found J. Stevens Painting. They are honest and trustworthy and I fully trust them to give a fair price, to all of their customers! Really, I can't say enough good things about J. Stevens Painting! Call them, email them--you will be more than happy with the results!

Jeff and his team did a wonderful job on our house. Jeff stayed in contact with me during the entire scheduling process. When his team arrived they worked hard and impressed my neighbors and I with their attention to detail. I will definitely recommend J Steven Painting to my friends and family.

J Stevens Painting painted my parent's home last year and did a fantastic job. They really transformed the look of the house, and did so at a very reasonable price. When we decided to paint our home in early April, Jeff (owner) was the first number I dialed. I liked Jeff immediately when he showed up for our initial appointment. He was on-time (big pet peeve of mine), respectful, patient, and observant. He let me do most of the talking when we walked the house, allowing me to explain what I was wanting to achieve. However, he also asked some great questions that I never would have thought to bring up. Jeff promised to send me an estimate that night and he held true to his word. As this was our first estimate, I really didn't have a comparison point, but for the level of work that was going to be performed, the amount seemed more than fair. Over the next week, we proceeded to get estimates from 3 other vendors and the J Stevens estimate was the lowest by a wide margin. In fact, one vendor wanted to charge me double the J Stevens estimate. I typically don't like to use the lowest estimate, but since I had seen the quality of his work and felt comfortable with Jeff from our walk through, I decided to move forward with J Stevens. Boy was I not disappointed!!!! Jeff's team (3 guys) managed to complete our entire house in 5 days. Pretty amazing if you ask me. We have neighbors who were getting their house done at the same time and it took their painting company 2+ weeks to do the same level of work. The crew was very respectful to my family, would drop what they were doing to touch up certain areas that I wasn't pleased with, cleaned up after themselves. They even fixed my door leading to the back porch. As for the paint job...well the house looks absolutely fantastic!! We couldn't be happier with the quality of the work that was done. We still make comments about how fast the guys worked. Since Jeff's team finished, we've noticed a couple areas that needed to be addressed. I contacted Jeff directly and his team was out within the next 24 hours (2 separate occasions). It's customer service like this that makes me want to write glowing reviews and offer solid recommendations to neighbors. I would highly recommend J Stevens Painting for all your household painting needs. They do quality work at a very reasonable price, and their customer service is 2nd to none. Thanks Jeff!!

Crew came each day, did good work and cleaned up the end of each day. It was a 4 day job and Jeff stopped by several times to see how it was going. We even had a color change after the first coat and the charge to make the change was fair.

Arrived on time, good prep, clean-up, surface protection. Came everyday until job was finished. Immediately came back for touching up a couple areas I requested. Eager to please with obvious desire to make sure one is satisfied. Price was competitive with a couple other quotes, but I made my choice based on research of companies and how I felt after talking to them.

Jeffs crew did a great job. Jeff was always there when I called and gave a great quote that was detailed in the work to be done. I have already referred this company to friends and neighbors.

Provider showed up on time for estimate and for services, was flexible in scheduling the date of service when we wanted to move the date up, showed up as scheduled and completed the work well within the timeframe promised. Work area was cleaned up when the work was completed. Jeff stayed in touch the entire time and was easy to reach and quick to follow up. Very happy with the finished product!

They arrived promptly on Monday and worked through the week. Jeff had the best price and used a grade of paint that was superior to the other two painters I interviewed. Jeff didn't hang around, but he was available by phone or text to answer questions. The crew was hard working and friendly. It helps to communicate with them if you speak Spanish.

This was an excellent experience with J Stevens Painting . They arrived early and worked until late (7 pm) for 2 days . The painting was excellent and the patching was not visible . We couldn't even tell where it was done . The power washing made the house sparkle. The house is two stories and painting the shutters , foyer , and metal over the window extension was fdifficult butt it looks great . We had a slight miscommunication about the shutter and door dolor . Jeff took care of making sure we had the correct color , immediately . I would highly recommend his painting company . In fact, I plan to have more painting in the future and will definitely hire J Stevens painting .

I have a two story home with 37 windows. Each window is equipped with solar storm windows. That being said, the job of painting my house in quite complex. Jeff and his crew took 2 1/2 days to complete the job, and the work was excellent. Not a drop of paint on anything it should not be on, removed every storm window, cleaned them, as well as the exterior panes and placed everything back perfectly. Oh, as a bonus, I got home one evening and Jeff himself was pressure washing my driveway!!!! The most prompt, professional contractor I have ever worked with. He is a pleasure to work with, does exactly what he says, communicates through the entire process and his quality of work is second to none.

It was wonderful. We are first time homeowners with a 7 month old baby, so timing for repairs was essential. Jeff very quickly provided estimates for our requested repairs, as well as completed the work earlier than expected. He did all of this while I was out of the country on a business trip. He provided excellent communication and work was done efficiently. We will be sure to use him again on our next home project.
