J. Stevens Painting

J. Stevens Painting did a fabulous job repairi g some trim and painting the exterior of our house. They were the lowest cost of three bidders, and did a thorough inspection prior to submitting the bid. The work took about two weeks with a couple of rain delays. The crew was courteous and helpful in answering all my questions The house looks great and I will definitely use them again for interior work next.

We absolutely could not be happier with our experience using J. Stevens Painting! We got several quotes to have the exterior of our house painted before deciding to go with J. Stevens. They were very competitive with other quotes. That, coupled with their stellar reviews, fantastic communication, and the fact they're a local small business who take pride in their work made it an easy decision. From beginning to end they were extremely communicative, transparent, and very professional. They answered all of my questions in a timely and informative manner. J. Stevens outlined/itemized all of the work upfront, including painting, rotted trim replacement, etc., and let me know that any unforeseen/unquoted work would be handled at my discretion. I was also provided documentation showing their extensive liability insurance without even asking for it, which I appreciated. We ended up having more wood rot in some areas than we initially thought, and the additional work was quoted and presented to us. The work was 100% justified, and I felt the cost of the materials and labor to be very fair. The crew that completed the work were fantastic. They were incredibly polite, were very respectful of my home, and frankly had a remarkable work ethic. They are obviously skilled at their trade. My wife and I are very satisfied with the quality of all of the work that was completed.

The job was excellent. the workers were prompt and very professional. They repaired rotten wood around the windows and other boards on our house. They were very polite and careful to be neat on the job and cleaned up the trash and hauled it off. The contract was fulfilled and we will certainly use them again.

I highly recommend Jeff Stevens Painting. I live in the mountains of rural North Georgia, where it's hard to find quality, insured subcontractors. This company not only painted the exterior of my house; I had extensive rotted trim at the eaves of all 4 sides of the house, along with at least 20 pieces of rotted siding, and other trim that needed replacing prior to the start of painting. Jeff's carpenter-painters replaced all of the rotted wood and siding, recaulked the entire exterior of the house, and painted everything. Jeff responded very soon after I reached out to his company, visited my house within a few days of my call, and prepared a very thorough and concise proposal. He also attached a copy of his company's Certificate of Insurance to the email that contained his proposal. This is important because sometimes getting this document from a contractor or vendor can be like pulling teeth. They say they are insured but never prove it. The cost of work was very reasonable and the quality of work is excellent. Anyone who needs interior or exterior painting on the house would be crazy not to, at the very least, solicit a proposal from Jeff Stevens Painting.

Soap used to clean areas to paint was left on my windows.

Worked very well. Everything looked great. We received a level 5 finish on the ceilings. In our contract, I had added to have all escutcheon plates from every ceiling device and HVAC register taken down prior to the ceilings being stripped and refinished. Very little was removed and I had to do the stripping and sanding myself.

S Steven’s Painting provided me a competitive quote for a complete interior paint job. Jeffs communication was great as I moved the date twice to accommodate other subs and he accommodated the requests. His crew did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. The job looked perfect after he was done!

I hired J. Stevens Painting to paint the exterior of my home. The crew was friendly, arrived punctually, meticulous, worked very hard, and straightened up every day before leaving. When we did a final walk around when they had completed the job, they wanted to make sure that I was completely happy with their job! I highly recommend J.
