They called me promptly to schedule an appointment. Jesse came out, inspected the doors and recommended replacement of rollers and other minor repairs and adjustments. There was no hard sell. The doors are 16 years old, and this is something I've been wanting to do. He performed the work quickly and was professional throughout. The doors work great. I would definitely use them again. The total charge included the $49 already paid.

Overall, they were great. They were due the week before, and I had to cancel the appointment due to surgery. They came yesterday, which is when they were supposed to. They called before they came, let me know they were on the way and got here on time. The service tech was very good. He explained what he was going to do. He did the inspection, made some adjustments, lubricated them and showed me some things I didn?t know about the door. He went through everything and did a good job. The price was fantastic. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

This review is quite lengthy -- so I am condensing it to this first sentence: If you need anything done regarding garage doors of any size, you will bless the day you joined Angie's list and were put in contact with CSS Garage Doors. I contacted CSS through an Angie's Big Deal of $49 for a "tune-up" etc. for garage doors. My single door has repeatedly refused to open or close except manually, which I have to do standing on a step stool. (My adult children do not know about that part!). I cannot rave enough about the professionalism, respectful attitude, cleanliness, and "above and beyond" service CSS provided to me. A half hour after arriving on time Monday morning, he gave me the diagnosis and how he could repair the opening and closing problem. He also answered me, when I asked about the price, that it was the $49 as advertised on Angie's List, no additional cost. I left him to do the repair and went inside for my second cup of coffee. I was thinking that this would hold the wooden door for the next year and then I would have to probably search for a company to replace the entire door and system. That is when I had my "ah-ha" moment. I interrupted the gentleman, asking if CSS installed new garage doors. After his positive answer, he gave me information on the facts of 2011 garage doors - steel doors with insulation on all sides, many designs to choose from, and most importantly the average cost of installing a single door and the door itself. It was obvious that he thoroughly knew his products. The price was so far below what I expected that I told him to stop the repair work as I did want to have a new door installed. He got his binder from his truck, showing me all of the different styles, and insert designs I could choose from for the window, if I wanted windows. There was absolutely no sales pressure or attempt to go to more costly models. After making my decision, he then asked me which section of the door I wanted to have the windows placed. That was a revelation to me! I could choose where to put the windows! Since I often do laundry or messy hobbies in my garage rather late at night, I always feel I am on display -- I chose to have the windows placed in the top section. Since I am 5'1", with the new door closed I feel like I am in another room of my home! The next thing to decide was when I would like to have the garage door installed. It could have been the next day but my week was full until Friday. So we agreed on Friday morning and he gave me a typed estimate with the product and work details and the complete price, as quoted. Friday, he arrived on time, pointed out each part of the door as it was fastened on his truck. No switches, etc. Then I left him to the job. When the door was completely installed, he asked me to bring my garage openers out so that he could get them, the key pad, and the overhead motor unit all in sync. There were a few minor glitches, one requiring him to remove the motor cover and re-seat the electronic parts. I was impressed when he called another employee who, he explained, was more knowledgeable with solving the problem. It was working within 5 minutes. I then keyed in my personal code several times as he tested all parts to his satisfaction. After I understood all of the things that were done, plus learning how to clean the door itself and how to sparingly and only occasionally spray silicone for smooth quiet opening and closing, he gave me the Invoice which exactly matched to the penny the price on the Estimate he had given me on Monday. When he left, he took all of the old parts, along with any parts of the wrappings etc. of the new door. I felt like I had made a new friend. Please read the top sentence again!

I purchased this service through a coupon advertisement on Angie's List. Before I could get around to calling to schedule an appointment, the company proactively contacted us and scheduled an appointment to come out that day. They were very prompt, professional, and did a wonderful job. Highly recommended!

We purchased the Angie's List garage door tune-up coupon from CSS Garage Doors. I can not tell you how pleased we were with their service. We were able to book our appointment within one day of purchasing the coupon. Their technician showed up promptly, diagnosed the problem and did an absolutely amazing job. Beyond that, he stayed for nearly three hours working on items he probably could have tried to 'upsell' us on or say wasn't included in the deal. Our garage doors work better than ever before. I would definitely use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone here on Angie's List.

Paul and Daryl were very professional and returned my calls in a timely fashion. They did the work exactly when they said they would and finished within the time promised. The slab on my house was not perfectly level so they did a good job of compensating for the misalignment.

What a delight! We originally thought we would have to purchase a new garage door but the contractor fixed our existing door. He did not try to sell us a new door and even gave us several repair options. It was really nice to work with someone with integrity. We would definitely use CSS for any future garage door needs and recommend this company to all our friends!

I bought the discount coupon for the garage door tune up and am very glad I did. They did a very thorough job and the result were obvious. I also had the 20 year old rollers replaced. I was shown everything in detail as to how it should operate and what was going to be done, as well as the old parts after the new ones were installed. I will definitely use them again.

Using the Angie's List The Big Deal, Garage Door Springs Replacement for $149.95, signed on for replacement of, what else, garage door springs. Replacement springs installed were of better quality/rating than existing springs. Once installation was completed, the first test demonstrated that the track which runs along the rail between the door and the motor was damaged due, probably, to continued use of the motorized opening and closing of the door with broken springs, too much weight applied to the plastic/pot-metal track without spring assistance. Not having a replacement track on his truck and through coordination with another technician, the installer acquired a new, replacement track and installed it for an additional charge for the track and installation--normal billing for travel to/from my house was omitted. The technician was considerate and professional. Would gladly do business with CSS Garage Doors again.

Jesse (technician) arrived at the time scheduled, which was a two hour window (11a-1p) and explained the work to be performed. Jesse was very thorough in his explanation and provided me with a brief overview of the mechanisms that made up the door assembly, items that typically wear first and even recommended the preferred lubricant for DIY maintenance. Jesse informed me that the original installers of my doors had placed them slightly off center and he had corrected the issue by relocating some brackets and hardware on both garage doors and also testing to ensure their functionality. Although my wife and I opted only for CSS's maintenance package this time I am very confident that we will be utilizing them for the replacement of our secondary opener. Their estimate, professionalism and knowledge was very reassuring in a time when customer service is all but nonexistent. I would highly recommend CSS for any repair, replacement and maintenance related to your garage door needs.

Jesse was great and did a thorough professional job. He arrived on time and was friendly as well as fast. The best part was that Jesse explained how my garage door set up worked and what the likely problem spots might be. He was also clear about the fact that my garage door opener did not need any additional work right now. Overall, I felt that it was informative and very courteous. I'll definitely try CSS again for any garage door related services in the future.

We just had the best experience with CSS Garage Doors located in Canton, GA. We purchased their garage door tune up deal on here and from the very start had excellent communication with Paul from the company. Daryl came to our house (even called to let us know he was on his way) on time, was nice, friendly and knew his stuff. He tuned up the garage door then explained everything to us after he was finished. He was able to answer the questions we had and even helped us program our key pad and car home link button. Overall, we were more than pleased with their service, will be using them again if we ever have any problems and will certainly recommend them to our friends. Five stars without a doubt!

Daryl Lipham arrived when he said and performed the coupon work. He found some small problems that he repaired at no additional charge. He also performed the work on my 3 door garage even though the coupon was for 2 doors. I thought this work showed he was not there to nickle and dime me using the coupon offer to get his foot in the door. Work was professional and quick. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

They were real good and worked within the time and followed up on everything. The price was reasonable.

Original estimate was last Friday (8/13/2010) and job completed from 10-12 noon on 8/6/2010. Service completed by a friendly, professional service man who made sure we were aware of all the work being completed at several different stages. All work was discussed before hand and agreed to before completion. Complete training was provided on all the technical aspects of the opener, the remote device, and a thorough explanation of the warranties for all parts. Labor charges were extremely good.

The cables on the garage door broke which rendered the door inoperable. This happened on July 4th; I contacted the company on July 5th and the work was done that day. I was given a time period as to when they would arrive and I was called when they were on their way. The service person could not have been nicer or more efficient. The job was done within 1.5 hours. I was given a tutorial on my garage door opener and on maintenance of the door and system which I appreciated. This company offers a one year warranty on parts and labor. I will definitely use them again. I only wish that they did more that garage doors!

Needless to say I gave the job to CSS. CSS showed up on time and were able to do the framing, install an 18? insulated metal door along with the opener & keypad all in the same day. They kept the work area clean before during and after the job was done. The second job they did for me was on a rental home. They replaced a door that was damaged by the tenant. They did the work in a timely manner at a great price. They were even able to supply me with a remote that was missing for the existing door opener. Again, they kept the area clean before during and after the job was done. These guys know there stuff and are very professional. They are one of the few companies that I?ve had to deal with lately that do what they say and do things right.
