CSS Garage Doors

CSS is a husband/wife team. They take pride in their work and go the extra mile to please the customer. The entire process of getting a quote, ordering, scheduling and installing went smoothly and we are thoroughly delighted with the end result! We wanted insulated doors with thermo-paned windows. There was a big difference in price between the brand of doors with single-pane and brand with double-pane windows. Michele took it upon herself to contact the manufacturer's sales rep for the "overpriced" doors and they agreed to match the competitor's price! We got exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price because of Michele's desire to please a customer. Daryl expertly installed the doors and openers. We've already recommended CSS to several friends.

Tech arrived (forgot his name, sorry, but he was awesome) at the beginning of the 2hr window I was given. Super polite, did the job quickly & made sure it was working correctly. Even checked the other door to make sure it looked good & added lubricant to the track to help keep it moving smoothly. Would definitely recommend & call again for any issues.

The installer made a courtesy call upon arrival and arrived on the designated time. The installer was detailed and did not do any unnecessary work or try sell unnecessary parts. Honesty goes a long way in my book

I gladly give this company an "A" rating. Michelle promptly responded to my email on the weekend - a very uncommon practice. She was very nice and made the scheduling process effortless. Darryl did a great job servicing my 18 year old doors and openers. The doors now work so much better and quieter. Absolutely no attempt on anyone's part to up sell - just straightforward, honest, and professional work. And their price to service two doors/openers was much cheaper than any of the other online "specials" that I saw. If you're searching for a company with integrity that provides prompt and honest service, this is it. I very much appreciate their work and I highly recommend them.

Great. Installer (Tom) did a great job. Professional, efficient, and fast. Arrived on time, got the old unit down and new one up and running in about an hour. Fair price and quality service. We bought a garage door from CSS 5 years ago and it still look good. We highly recommend this company

CSS Garage Door Inc sold & installed our new garage door & opener several years ago. It is excellently balanced so I’ve had no issues with it not running smoothly. I had accidentally knocked the “safety eyes” out of sync so called CSS to adjust them and do a lube & tuneup to keep all the moving parts working well & to tighten it up, as needed. The technician was very professional and answered all of my questions.

Tech arrived on time. Explained that I'd have various issues with the garage door for years such as having it re-open after trying to have it close, not closing at all, etc. He was able to quickly diagnose and fix the door and re-wire the sensor. Now does the door not only not have the previously mentioned problems, it is MUCH quieter than it has ever been. Would definitely hire again

I noticed last night that my garage door wouldn't open when trying to take out the trash. Took me until this morning to notice the two cracked springs on either side of the door. I found CSS based on positive reviews on Angie's List, so I called this morning and they were able to send someone out within 2-3 hours. Repair took less then a half hour, and I got a bunch of maintenance tips for the opener and tracks too. Would definitely hire again if/when my motor goes.

I have a 2 car garage with a solid wood door. The spring broke overnight, trapping both cars. I reached out to 3 Angie's providers at 8 am. CSS squeezed us in between nearby appointments. Darrell and Tom showed up as expected. They diagnosed in seconds. They had the replacement spring already on the truck. Took about 45 minutes to replace. Cars no longer trapped as of 11:15 AM. They also replaced some frayed lift cable.

Came same day I called. Diagnosed the problem immediately and fixed it (along with routine maintenance on my other gtwo garage doors). CSS was great. Nice people, too. I will definitely call them the next time I have garage door issues.

My garage door was not closing intermittently. Based on customer reviews, I contacted CSS. I explained the problem to the service person. He inspected my door, lubricated the mechanical moving parts, and told me that if the problem continued I would probably need a new circuit board (cost estimated at $189). Two weeks later and the door is again not closing intermittently. I spoke to my handy guy, and it turned out that the camera lenses are misaligned and the wire on one of them is damaged (my cat chews on wires). I later learned that this is a very common problem with automatic garage door openers. I cannot believe that such a straightforward problem was not caught by CSS during his inspection. I will not use them again.

CSS fixed my garage door at what I thought was a very good price. I would use them again.

I am tardy in writing this review but wanted to give kudos to CSS. My spring broke on my garage door. I had it replaced and the trouble began. It would randomly blink and not close as if something was blocking the sensors. I called them again. Said it was the sun. So I bought sun sensors. Still did it. Came out again and made an adjustment to the sensors. Still broken. So, I finally looked at other companies and called CSS. I talked to Paul and explained all that was going on. He mentioned a number of things. We set up an appointment. The technician came out. He couldn't find a specific cause but said some of the wire connections didn't look good. He replaced those and serviced the door. I have had zero problems since. It was definitely worth the extra money I had to pay.

Daryl came to my house and he was very polite, professional, on time, helpful, fair on the price and did a great job! He even synced my car to my garage door! Totally recommend this company and will call them again in the future for sure! Thank you!

Great quality doors, price, and installation went smoothly. I ordered the doors and the install was done in less than a week. Paul spent at least a couple of hours helping me choose the right doors for my home. Excellent Customer service.

I had to replace the rollers on the door, but not the tracks as I had feared. The tech serviced the door and now it runs as quietly as it did when it was new. He also brought it up to date on safety by running a cable through the springs to contain them in case of breakage. The price was a little more than I wanted to pay but it was a lot less than replacing the whole door, etc.

I sent Paul a text and he had someone at our house the next day. The serviceman called when he was on his way, arrived when he said he would, and was professional and courteous. They had it fixed in short order and the door is working better than ever. Simple & easy. Well worth the money.

The gentleman, Paul, was extremely informative and helpful, and helped with our decision making at this time. We definitely will call them back at a later time, to possibly have two doors installed. The home is new to us at this time, and there are a few other items on our list first.

Paul arrived promptly, quoted me a very reasonable charge and replaced both springs. Very professional, knowledgeable, and did the repair and advised me what to look for if had an further problems. I am very satisfied and would definitely call again. The entire Job took less than an hour as he had appropriate materials with him.
