CSS Garage Doors

I'm that lucky person who hits in between garage doors with the car. Little damage to car...lot of damage to garage. Called CSS Garage Door left message on their answer machine and they called backed that day. THe next day they came out gave estimate of repair work. I was dealing with my insurance company so they wanted estimate from contractor. It took a week for them to come out and then a week to give the estimate...they we 1 1/2 more expensive and did not include replacing the tracks, the springs or new doors, just repairing what was there and repair stucco...after insurance approve their estimate decide to go with CSS. What a great job they did. While repair center post they found termite damage and repaired this. The instillation was done 1 day and everything was cleaned=up afterwards. They found a stucco company(separate charge) to do repair work on stucco..they were not so great..but CSS came out and finished painting on trim which the stucco company should have done..no questions they just did it. My house is 27 years old with garage doors in front...what an update to house..they look great and my house looks like it had a facelift....Thanks CSS for great job

This has been one of the most pleasant experiences with a company that we have ever had since becoming a homeowner many years ago. I found the name of CSS Garage Doors on Angies List last summer. Jesse came out to give us an estimate. He spent quite a bit of time explaining what they would do, gave us examples of the different types of doors and openers. Wrote up an estimate, which we felt was fair. He was very pleasant to work with and very professional and courteous. We had a couple more estimates by other companies but no one other than CSS called us back to follow up. By this month we were ready to install new doors so called CSS . Within a week we had the doors installed and ready to go. Darrell did the install this week and, like Jesse, was very professional and had the job completed and cleaned up within 6 hours. We would totally refer CSS Garage Doors to anyone needing their services.

.I was impressed with the whole process of getting the estimate, ordering and installation.The price was the best out of four estimates. Very happy with the work done and would definately recommend them.

We contacted the company and received an appointment the same week. They showed up on time and gave a quick assestment of our garage door problem. They were able to fix the door on the same day for a very reasonable price. The service was fantastic!

Tech was punctual & polite. He did an evaluation & gave me his recommendations. I declined to purchase new cables but approved the other work. He lubricated both doors & also adjusted the track on one of them. I peeked in on him from time to time & he seemed fine with me watching him while he worked. The horrible noise I was hearing (the reason I purchased the coupon) was b/c the door was being sliced apart b/c the track was off. He showed me the damage & repaired it. I just moved into this home so I wasn't really familiar with the system. Without asking, he gave me instructions on how to work it & showed me how to operate the safety devices in case of an emergency. In addition to the cost of the initial coupon, I had to pay an additional $49 but the doors are totally fixed. They are super quiet & I am happy with my decision to use CSS.

A tornado damaged my garage door. I did a search on Angies List for contractors to replace my garage door. CSS Garage Door came out the next day and gave me an estimate to replace my garage door. I approved the estimate/proposal to replace my garage door. It took two days for CSS to get the new door. The installer was late, but he called me to let me know he was going to be late. The door was installed on the day it was supposed to be installed. The installer was very professional and did a great job. The new door looks and works great. I definitely recommend CSS Garage Doors.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon that included a garage door tune up. CSS was a few weeks out but that didn't matter because I was having zero issues with my garage doors. I've only lived in my house for two years and did not know when the last time the garage doors had any maintenance done by the previous owner. The serviceman arrived at the time indicated and completed the tune up. But as with other Big Deal coupons, the tech could not remember what the Angie's List offer was. Unfortunately this is a consistent pattern when you contact the vendor to redeem the Angie's List Big Deal Coupon. Which tells me these vendors offer a number of coupons so I'm no longer thinking these Big Deal offers are that great or unique. The tech said the garage door needed new cables and the spring needed to be adjusted. He suggested the spring be replaced altogether but I couldn't see the ROI versus the benefit but did have the cables replaced. Since then, the garage door is louder when it's operating up and down and is very rough operating. Not smooth at all like it operated prior to CSS working on the door. We called CSS about it and they came back out to address. They made an adjustment to the spring again, but it is still louder and operates very rough. I wish they had never touched the spring at all.

Punctual, performed a very thorough job(far superior to any other maintenance I've ever gotten). offered great advise for what i can do for routine maintenance. very professional, would highly recommend them.

They cleaned up well afterward; no mess was left. They took there time and made sure everything was right. They did a great job. They also upgraded the type of garage door opener we got.

I had no problem scheduling an appointment, after buying the coupon. They were able to come out in a timely manner. The technician called to tell me he was delayed from an earlier job, and asked if that was a problem. Then he called to tell me he was on the way. He was able to do the inspection and other work within a couple of hours. I was pleased with the experience.

He came out on time, and was prompt and professional. It has been 3 weeks and I haven't had any problems.

They showed up early and got to work even though I wasn't home. The fix was fairly simple, so they did a tune-up to cover the minimum fee. They came the day I called and the service person was professional, polite and, extra-prompt. They are great!

The installer showed up a day early and worked all day - the quality of the doors combined with the quality of the work has made me a CSS customer for life. There were no surprises, no stealthy "oh-oh's you need to buy this" type moments. The installer (Jesse) was meticulous and professional - clearly took a great deal of pride in his work. After he was done, we programmed all our devices and he gave me a 10 minute tour of the features and functions of the doors. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE GARAGE DOOR. IT WOULD OPEN BUT WHEN CLOSING IT WOULD COME ABOUT 1/4 DOWN, SO HE GOT THAT WORKING PROPERLY. HE ALSO SAW SOME LOSE WIRES AND OTHER SMALL THING THAT WERE WRONG AND HE TOOK CARE OF THEM. HE WAS A VERY NICE AND PERSONABLE YOUNG MAN.

I highly recommend CSS Garage Doors. I was in the market to replace my two 8X7 builder grade wooden doors, and openers, when I saw Angie's 'Big Deal' offer from CSS Garage Doors offering $140.00 of garage door upgrades for $19.00. Jesse from CSS came out to give me the estimate for the work I wanted done, and he was excellent. There was no 'sales pressure' whatsoever, and he took the time to clearly explain the different types of doors and openers available, and the cost associated with each. After answering all my questions, Jesse left detailed product information and his phone contact in case I had any additional questions. He also mentioned if I elected to go with CSS that he would probably also do the installation of the doors. That sounded very good to me as I could tell by our discussion about replacing the doors that he is very detail and quality oriented, both of which I feel are very important qualities. After doing some additional research I decided to go with CSS and I can honestly say I am a very happy CSS customer! Jesse did do the installation of the doors and openers, and he did an awesome job! He took his time and his attention to detail was exactly as I anticipated it would be! When he completed the job he reviewed everything with me and I think when he left the garage was cleaner than when he started! If you are in the market for garage doors or openers I highly recommend CSS Garage Doors, and Jesse in particular!

I was pleased with the technician. The only thing I recommend is to read the coupons which say you have to purchase them BEFORE the technician comes out. I misread and thought I would hand him a service call coupon but I didn't follow the directions. I've never seen one that you purchase before the service call so I didn't get a discount for the service call.

He came on time and finished on time. He explained everything and I was extremely satisfied.

Worker was courteous, kept me informed, found a few problem areas I hadn't noticed, such as missing or loose bolts and the misaligned tracks, adjusted everything properly, and recommended replacing the wheels because the bearings were shot in some of them. The door works better now, quietly, and stops and starts at the right height. I'm not worried the warping panels will pop off as he reinforced the link between the panels and the hinges with extra bolts. Though the wheels seem expensive, there were quite a few of them, and he did demonstrate some of the broken ones, so I was confident wheel replacement was a good preventative measure. He also advised me to get some mineral oil to grease the chain and the wheels and the hinges on occasion, which I hadn't been doing. In all a good value and I recommend this company.

Excellent. They let me know that the previous job was going to be a big one, and that I was at the end of the day, so I knew it was going to be later in the day. The repairman showed up and got right to work. And he stayed around to check everything on the door, not just the panel he replaced, to make sure it was working perfectly. They were much more interested in doing the work I wanted, and doing it right, rather than trying to sell me new garage doors (like some other companies).

Not only did they tune up my garage door, but the gentleman explained everything in depth to me. They did a great job. They are now on my go to list for any work I may need done on my garage door.

Our Double Garage Door broke, and the panels were not in great shape, so we decided to replace with the tax credits still available. My husbnad shopped around a good bit, and had several companies come out and quote the job. He went with CSS becasue they seemed very knowledgeable, were right in line as far as price goes (not the highest, not the loest) and because they were able to get their stock in a reasonable amount of time. The installation date was scheduled, and they arrived right on time. They worked right through the day, and did a great job. The new insulated doors really made a difference in the temp of the garage (and the rooms above). The new garage opener was SO much quieter. In fact, it was so quiet, that I could not hear that they were still opening and backed right into them and two weeks after they wre installed! I knocked it off the rail, and bent part of the door slightly. I knw my husband would be so mad, and I called CSS to see how quickly they could come out to fix this. Although they were doing a job in Tucker, they came all the way across town to Roswell to fix it the same day. They replaced the bolts, straightened out the panel, and got it back as good as new. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Showed on at appointment time, called while en-route to confirm. Got the discounted rate for the spring replacement, added in safety cables after talking with the technician. I asked about replacing the wheels as they doors were getting very noisy. He thought lubrication would be enough and he was right, doors are very quiet now. Was much cheaper then if he had just done what I asked. I will definitely use them again when I upgrade my garage doors.

After my online purchase, Paul promptly contacted me to schedule the service. Jesse showed up at my door exactly at the appointed time. He proceeded to show me where all the problems were, helping me understand the causes of all the squeaks, moans and groans heard as the door opened. He worked his magic (aligning the tracks, tightening bolts, adjusting and lubricating where needed) and my garage door opens quieter than when new. Silence is golden - especially with garage doors. If I had only known how quiet it could have been all these years, I would have called them sooner. Jesse educated and recommended, making it obvious to me that he knew more than the original installers and that he wasn't here to sell me any service I didn't need. Without a doubt I would highly recommend them and I plan to use them when I replace the current (generic, boring) doors.The quality of their work will speak for itself.
