C & A Johnson Plumbing Service

We didn't have any problems with them. I can't say I disliked anything about them. They did their job. That is what I liked.

I was not pleased with C & A Johnson Plumbing Service. Their price was quite high. I was a little disappointed with them. They were too quick to analyze and say that it required a major repair. They did not give other options. They seemed very interested in how to get additional work and spent 2 hours for it. The person who came knew I was using Angie's List and he looked confident as though he is qualified for the job. The job done was average.

I already had the filtration system so he just charged $50 to install it, and he charged under $100 to fix the sink. It was very reasonable. It was great and I think he is a really good guy. I think he seems really honest and I think he is very fairly priced. He doesn?t just do things to do it, we have a discussion about it.

He did a fine job. He got here quickly. He finished the work and left.

Excellent. Was on time, clean and considerate. Performed work quickly and professionally. Showed me the worn-out part. Positive closure on repair performed to my expectations.

We've used them before. He is on time and very responsive. He is friendly. He let us know when he was coming and then he called to let us know that he remembered and would be here at that time. Then he called to say that he was running a little bit early, which was great. He was very professional and he did a good, quick and clean job. He didn't mess up anything or leave a mess for me. His prices are very good and we will use him again.

When I realized I needed help with the plumbing, I came to Angie's List. I picked this plumber because of his ratings and location. When I telephoned, he gave me ball park figures for the items I told him (these were actually a little higher than the actual bill). The plumber gave me a courtesy call approximately 30 minutes before he came. He was punctual and professional. He completed all tasks and then reviewed the bill with me. I obtained a 5% discount for using Angie's List. I will definitely recommend this company and use them again if I need a plumber.

The guy came very quickly. He cleared the really bad plug in the toilet. He also changed the water flow so that it would not happen again. He was competent in what he was doing. I probably will use him again in the future.

My brand new low flow toilet got stopped up so C&A Johnson came out, diagnosed the problem and snaked out the drain where it had gotten clogged. Clog wasn't in toilet itself but down in the drain pipe under the slab. Expensive lesson with low flow toilets - do NOT use Charmin tissue! Tissue may go down the toilet but because so much less water flows on through drain pipe, clogs occur over time as tissue builds up.

Chris showed up on time and was extremely professional. He explained everything that he was going to do and completed the work in a timely fashion. Would definitely recommend to someone else and would use again.

we just bought this house so I needed a few small jobs done. Chris showed up on time and was very professional and knowledgeable He answered all my questions and I though his pricing was very reasonable. I would definitely use him again.

Work was completed on time but much more than quoted/expected. We have dozens of rental properties and regularly replace water heaters for less then a third of the cost of this one. Part of the problem was that the plumber (owner) could not replace with out bringing the system up to current code. I have never had this problem before with replacing dozens of water heaters in older properties. Good job and on time but much too expensive for our needs.

Very pleasant and professional on the phone. Punctual and professional as to the appt. I called saying that we needed a new pressure regulator. Chris' first response was to talk me through what regulators do and how a test should perform - basically trying to help me keep the old one if at all possible. I like a guy who won't jump on my money as soon as it's offered. We determined that, due to age and performance, my regulator needed to go. Chris was willing to give me a ballpark estimate, with the proper caution that things could change once he saw the current installation. Upon arrival, Chris determined that it would cost a little bit more than the ballpark figure because the first installation wasn't done properly - my whole house cutoff was in line after the regulator when it should be placed before the regulator. Bottom line is that I needed more work than we discussed over the phone. Chris removed the original regulator, cut out the original cutoff valve, and rebuilt the entire thing with copper pipe (we had PVC before). We wound up with a better built, better designed, more compact system than before, and the total charge was only $25 more than the ballpark estimate. The best part? It was all installed in such a way that I can replace the regulator should that again become necessary. Chris even took the time to show me exactly what to do and how to do it. So...tried to save me the entire job on the front end, did more than discussed for hardly any more money, solved my problem, and left me where I can do it myself next time. I could not ask for more.

Chris was excellent. Very professional, on-time, efficient... he will definitely be the one we will call from now on should we ever need a plumber in the future. Highly recommend.

He was able to give me an appt when at a convenient time for me. Felt comfortable having him in my home. The problem had a simple solution and he kept it that way. And he gives a discount for Angies List members.

After searching Angie's list, I contacted C and A Plumbing via their website and received a phone call from Chris to set up the appointment for the next day. After discussing what needed to be done, he provided an estimate. On the day of service he called 30 minutes before the set time and he arrived on time. He explained what was needed and fixed the shower valve. I appreciate his gentlemanly manner and asking if there was anything else he could do. I did not have anything then but will certainly contact him for some future projects. Very professional and terrific example of true customer service. With the Angie's Member discount my cost was well below the estimate.

Exceptionally well. Appointment was made, He called 30 min before arrival to let me know he was on his way. Arrived on time. Checked the current toilet and said it could be fixed (which would have saved me money). I requested he go ahead and replace with the new one that sat higher. He did. Prompt, efficient, quality work. Area was clean when he left. Very good service.

They were extremely responsive; we checked out their information and called them, we left a voice-mail message, and within a half hour we got a response. A person came out the next day to do the work. I would use them in the future, if necessary.

The owner Chris came in. We hired them and they provided very good service. They came when they told us they would be here. They called us in the morning to confirm that they were going to come over and they did come over. He gave us a very good estimate of what different options were so that we could make a good decision. We did not hire them after that so they just did an estimate. Basically, it turned out that we did not need to hire them. The price was very good. There was a set pricing for the area. They did not go by their drive time. On the first visit, he was not counting minutes and hurrying through things. He took his time and explained things. I had more questions for him because I have been on their website and looked up other stuff. He was glad to offer suggestions and look up other things for me. He did not charge me anything extra. We took his suggestion of doing nothing; not hiring. We just made changes around the house that we needed to prevent smuding. We would have to spend up to $2000 if we had to set the sump pump in and supply that. He ended up giving us 3 different options. We chose the option where we made changes without actual plumbing inside the house. We did external changes. They were the first people to call me right away and kept calling me about different things. He was here on time when he said he was going to be here.

Called C&A Johnson on Monday, spoke with Chris and made an appointment. On Wednesday he called to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time. The work he did took just a little over an hour. He had to come back the next morning to replace what turned out to be a bad flapper, but calling him back to do that was also painless. Chris was exactly as their magnet describes: affordable, friendly, and reliable. We will definitely call on C&A Johnson again for future plumbing needs.

I called Chris on Tuesday, and he was able to come the next day. He gave me an approximate time that he would be there, but called 30 minutes ahead to tell me he could actually be there EARLY! He was quick, efficient, thorough, informative, courteous, and forthright. I hadn't known what type of faucet I had, and it required a more expensive part -- but he told me before he even started! I am thrilled with the results and Chris' professionalism. He is definitely OUR plumber now!

Chris was fantastic. He came out same day and even handled the toilet which wasnt part of the original request. He explained all of aspects of the job and was clear and concise with his pricing/parts costs.

Chris was so punctual, professional and nice. He figured out what the problem was, explained it to me in details that even I could understand. Chris was probably the best professional that I have dealt with since moving to Atlanta 5 years ago. I didn't feel as though he was ripping me off. I was very impressed with everything about him. Chris is now my plumber for life!
