C & A Johnson Plumbing Service

They worked very well and were extremely professional. My wife has to deal with most of people working around house which she hates, but they were very respectful and fast. She said she would use them again anytime!

Chris is wonderful!! Answered the phone himself, arrived within an hour of my call, fixed the problem and cleaned up. He was courteous, fast and friendly! And the cost was very acceptable! Will use him exclusively for our plumbing needs.

Two months prior I already had Chris Johnson, Master Plumber, at my home completing work and I got a quote for a new hot water tank. This visit he replaced my tank within two hours as promised and also kept at the quote of about $1,000 (just a few dollars more). He was thorough and replaced the parts and pipes necessary to bring my home back to code. Very professional and knowledgable. Made sure I understood the tank and how to adjust the temperature if needed and ensured I understood all the work he did. I've already recommended him to my family and neighbors and I will certainly have him back for any plumbing needs in the future.

Contacted Chris via Angie's List email. He responded within 24 hours, we phoned and confirmed the appointment. He called 30 minutes before arrival. The work went easily and quickly. He provided some helpful hints and info. Finished up and left everything clean and orderly. Couldn't ask for more. Very professional and courteous service .

His knowledge is very apparent. Knew exactly what my problem was on the phone when I said I heard dripping noises and my tank would empty every hour and when he arrived, he was correct. I was going to have him replace the gasket between the tank and bowl and it was merely the flush valve. Saved me some money from having the wrong service done. Since I already had him at my home, I asked him to replace the washers in my kitchen faucet and he said it takes a special device to change those washers and I would have struggled a bit as a DIY homeowner. He did it quickly and the new washers made a big difference. Thirdly I asked him to turn down the temperatue of my hot water tank. While he did that, I asked about a new tank since my neighbors tank blew up a month earlier and our tanks were the same age. I asked about the new tankless systems and together we evalauated my needs and I'm going with the old fashioned hot water heater. He told me about my water heater and when to get a new one and I'm very overdue. So in the next two months, I'll have him back to replace my water heater.

Great very very professional and respectful. They contacted me right away concerning my problem and to make an appointment. They fixed my problem alot faster than I expected and the charges were very reasonable. I would highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs.

Mr Johnson identified both vales as Delta. Something we did not know. He turned water off at street (no shut offs were available and that was why we wanted a professional) He repaired both and checked out rest of plumbing at tub. All is now working. He honored the Angies list coupon and because we had agreed to delay the start of job also gave us a bit more off price. He was professional arrived right on time and even called to tell us he was on the way. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily the job was completed. Mr Johnson is a pleasant and highly competent person to work with.

I was charged 192.00 to clear a clog. Now, I HAVE to replace a toilet. The new person I have working on the toilet explained what was done and explained I was cheated.

Chris was very professional and did an excellent job. He fixed a mess I had made with some of the plumbing and I felt very comfortable with him. Would absolutely hire again.

Chris had been out a couple of weeks ago to inspect the water heater after a power surge caused the thermostat to stop working properly. The water temp had climbed to 170 degrees before blowing the breaker on the thermostat. Resetting the breaker fixed it for a while. He also adjusted the temperature/pressure overflow valve that I've never been able to get adjusted correctly. Yesterday the temperature started climbing again,and the thermostat breaker blew again, so Chris came out today, at the time promised, and replaced both the upper and lower thermostats. He did not charge for a service call, because he'd been out before for the same problem. this is the fourth time we've had Chris out for some kind of plumbing work, and he's been terrific every time. I can recommend him highly and without reservation.

Chris reseated the toilet, installed the gaskets, and tightened the new flange bolts. On time, on estimate, and with a 3-month warranty. No complaints from me whatsoever. Would use C & A again in the future.

He did great. He was prompt, polite, went right to work, knew what to do, and repaired it affordably. I can't say enough about how good he was.

C&A showed up on time, and exhibited professionalism during the entire engagement. Chris verified the sounds, quickly suspected our water pressure regulator. He then verified our static water pressure, and recommended we replace our pressure regulator. Chris also examined some plumbing work done by the previous owner, and corrected an issue with a valve. After giving us a cost estimate, he replaced the regulator, and our issue was solved. My only issue with the service overall, is that C&A is somewhat expensive compared to other services. We would likely use C&A again should we require an issue to be diagnosed, and corrected. For standard services, we might look elsewhere for a lower cost provider.

Not only did he fix the problem with a toilet the plumber let me watch and showed me how to fix it myself the next time. Since we have three identical toilets I am sure I will need the information. I ordered two sets of parts from the Internet for a fraction of what it would cost to call him for this problem again. For any other problem I will be sure to call C & A again.

Very prompt - even early. They were very kind to call beforehand to make sure it was okay if they came early. Explained well what he was doing. Gave tips for maintenance steps throughout the year. Very nice.

Overall, it went well (very reliable, explained repairs, etc.) Can't comment on cost b/c don't have comparison.

Chris was contacted and came over on an emergency call to help us find the water that was flooding our kitchen cabinet and carpeting. He diagnosed the problem with the faucet and then repaired a leaking upstairs toilet. We had to call him back a week later to find another leak in our washer/dryer area. He offered suggestions to help me minimize my cost. I trust him to be fair, professional, and reliable.

He met my neighbor because I was out of town, turned off the water and put a new valve on. The next day he put a new heater in. I love him! I cant say enough about him.
