Bulwark Exterminating-Atlanta

When my husband and I moved from California to Georgia into a new home, we needed a very good exterminator that we could trust. (We had just moved out of a vacation rental that we had rented for the month after arriving in Georgia and it had a major roach infestation - and I mean MAJOR ROACH problem, they were everywhere -- on the pillows, bedding, countertops, tables, wherever we turned there was a roach). The vacation owner let us use a store bought pesticide, but it had no effect on the bug problem. So when we found our new home (that had been unoccupied for over a year) and we noticed quite a bugs, we were very worried about having a repeat episode. After speaking with our realtor we knew we had to find a good exterminator. From other reviews that we found, we decided on Bulwark Exterminating and I am so glad that we did. We were assigned Dave and he is absolutely AMAZING! His knowledge and experience of what has to be done to keep your home free of unwanted pests is amazing. Having no knowledge of Georgia bugs and what we needed to do, Dave was invalueable with the knowledge he shared. He knows every type of bug there is. He would ask us for a description of the bug that we saw, and he would give us detailed information about it (if it was harmful, what is is attracted to, how it comes into the home, what months of the year it comes out, what side of the house it likes best, etc.). By following his advice we have been pretty much bug free. But he always tells us to call and schedule an appointment if we see anything. We just recently called him because we thought we saw a couple of small roaches crawling on our ceiling in a couple of places in our home. He came out, listened to us and then went outside and while outside he found the bug that we were talking about, and we were wrong , it was not a roach. But he sprayed and gave us detailed information about how to keep these bugs outside our home. Also when he comes to our home, he checks everything. The attic, every room, the garage, the windows, around the home. He is so completely thorough. He even lets us know what the upcoming weather could bring and what to look out for. After living through an infestation, I am so incredibly happy to have discovered Dave and Bulwark Exterminating. I cannot say enough about Dave's knowledge, professionalism and just kindness at taking the time to explain everything to my husband and I since we are from a different state. We will always use Dave and Bulwark Exterminating for all of our needs. We have Bulwark's plan where they come to our home every other month but if we have any times where we see any critters they will make special trips out for free. They have been invaluable to us (especially when we first moved in and Dave had to make multiple trips out to get everything under control). I trust Dave and I know with his experience and knowledge, we are not only bug free, but my yorkie is safe even though we have to use an exterminator. I highly recommend Bulwark and Dave. Liz

We have been using this service since we moved to GA 6 years ago and the reason we continue is due to their outstanding service! The office is easy to deal with and Jameson, our guy is top notch!!! Very knowledgeable & the best! They provided an additional service - to spray for wasps in our deck ceiling fan at no charge!

I had a initial pesticide applied in and outside house a few weeks ago and had seen a few pests presented inside house, so called them for extra treatment as promised and they were so sincere and professional to answer my request and questions and explained why it happened. The scheduling was so easy and work with my busy schedule. I was so pleased how they respond and handle the issues.

They came on reasonable time frame and did well as I expected. After the service was done, I also wanted termite protection, so they came to measure and assessed a few days later. I was told to be scheduled later but they didn't contact me yet for the further plan. Also I called them a week later to retreat for the pest control but they didn't show up at the appointed time.

Jameson was fabulous. He was on time, listened to me and answered all my questions. He spent a good amount of time in my home inspecting and treating. I was very pleased.

Their service for exterminating was fine. However, I do not like their business practices. I received many unwanted telemarketing calls from this provider.

They are pretty descent. They do exactly their job. I am not displeased or anything. They come quarterly but if I see some bugs around I can call them again and they will come back. They are good. We are continually using them and I don't have any issues.

They were very nice and very apologetic to the fact that they could not service my area.

I bought the deal today, they reached out and let me know they don’t service my area. They were polite on the phone.

The provider was unable to complete the service, but they were upfront and honest with their reasoning and explained everything in detail to me.

He called yesterday stating if I was west of a certain road they don't service the area. They did agree to come out, but then stated they wouldn't be able to service my area for follow up visits.

I was very impressed with the person they sent to do the job. He seemed really knowledgeable and thoough. I was considering getting the flea treatment as well, but I don't think I should at this time. I did like how things were explained to me. Most exterminators don't take the time to explain or do as thorough of a job. Will definitely use in the future. Best I have used in Atlanta in 15 yrs.

We did find after the 2 week period there were still some bugs around, I called and they came back within days of the call for a second go around, very professional and it certainly seems what they have done as worked very very well.

We have been using Bulwark for the past 5 years. Our usual tech is James and he is wonderful. They call us and send an email a few days in advance of when they will be out to inspect and spray. We had a nasty problem a few years back with Cicada Killer Wasps and Cow Killer wasps. James would stop by between treatments just to check in to make sure the plan they came up with was working. He said we won the award as the house with the most Cicada Killers - not a title I wanted. This past summer, we did not even have one. Thank you Bulwark and James!
