Description of Work: Have used Best Home Services in past. Does a good job. Doesn't return calls right away and will give you an estimate of when he thinks he can come. That said, I've used other gutter cleaners in the past and Best Home Services has consistently been best quality.

On this occasion I received a message from the member's daughter on September 24, returned the call on September 25 and performed the work on September 29. There are times in the busy parts of the year that, due to the high volume of calls I receive and the numbers of hours I am working during the day, I am unable to return calls immediately or schedule the work so quickly. I am sure that was this member's experience in years past. Typically I am able to return emails to my clients much faster because I can do it at any time of day or night so I always recommend emailing for a speedier response. Thanks again for the review and for recognizing the quality of service I provide!

Description of Work: I have been contacting this service for over a month. I was put off twice and he still has not arrived to do the work. Each time I have had to reach out to find out when he is coming. I undstand its a busy time of year but I should not have to keep following up.

As the member stated, it was a very busy time when she called. In mid-May I gave her an estimate and told her I might be able to possibly schedule the work in the second week of June. When she contacted me June 12 I told her I was further behind than I had originally thought and that I might not be able to get to the work for her until the last week in June, which she told me would be fine. I actually completed the work on June 24 and the member seemed quite pleased with the work I did. Since I do smaller jobs, in my busy times of years I am juggling literally a hundred or more clients. Unfortunately it is impossible for me to keep in touch with them all and keep them updated on my schedule. I do follow up on phone calls and emails from clients seeking scheduling updates. It may take me a few days to return a phone call but I usually can respond to emails within one business day.

I contacted Scott about a week prior to the service date. He informed me that he'd be in my area the following Wednesday and would call me when he was able to come out. I thought for sure that he'd forget and yet again.....I'd be stuck looking for a gutter service. But that wasn't the case at all. Scott called me early Wednesday, August 31, exactly when he said he would. He arrived at my home 30 minutes later and gave me a quote. I wasn't home, so he called to get the "okay" prior to reandering services. When I arrived back home that evening, everything looked good as new. He cleaned all the gutters and his mess, there was no evidence he'd even been there, except for the sparkling, clean gutters!
Description of Work: Scott is excellent! After searching Angie's List for quite some time looking for a reasonably priced, efficient gutter cleaning service, I found Best Home Services. I am SO pleased! He arrived on the exact date specified, quoted me very reasonably and got the job done very quickly. He cleaned my gutters, cleaned up after himself, blew off my roof and even fixed a gutter that I didn't even know was broken. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a gutter cleaning. I will most certainly use him again.

He's very dependable and thorough and picks up and disposes of the debris from the gutters and blows off so that everything looks very neat and clean. I was especially pleased with his recent visit because we had a problem with squirrels in the attic earlier in the spring. Scott was able to find where the squirrels gained access to the attic. In addition, he found a clog in a gutter and replaced a downspout adapter that was not the correct fit for the downspout. I highly recommend Scott.
