It didn't. First question when I called for service was - "was He the first person I called." After that the tech explained all the options other than replacing the duct work as requested. Fine with that. Then committed to come assess and provide and estimate. I was ready to hire but never got a visit or follow-up. HVAC business must be great to treat a perspective customer that way and not have the professional courtesy to say not interested in the work.

I was not there when service was completed but my tenant said the tech came on time and did a thorough check up and cleaning of coils. A dual run capacitor was bad so it was replaced. With a 20% discount on the replacement it was a good deal. Professional work!

Went so well that I signed up for an annual service contract

It went better than I expected. This was the best experience I've ever had with HVAC repair/ in this case HVAC unit replacement.

Everything went well. I do think the initial service call fee should have some sort of credit toward repairs done. They didn't necessarily have to do any extra work for the service call since I had the repairs and service done. Seems like an industry wide money grabbign technique. Many other services subtract the estimate charge or initial service charge from the repairs.

I've been happy with them. Their very responsive and their reasonably priced, they took care of the problem. They came out at the end of the day after normal hours took care of it.

Repairs were performed on time and fully to satisfaction. Their technicians are knowledgeable, prompt and professional. Happy to recommend.

I was contacted by a representative who said he would come to my house and provide an estimate. He never called or contacted me in any way (e.g., email, text, etc.), and never showed up. This being an indication of the way Sig Cox conducts business, I am grateful that they showed their acumen before I contracted with them. I have a few other reliable companies in the area that I am working with and, as it goes, it appears as though I will be contracting with a company who is not too large to give up a high dollar job.

Because I'm on a contract with them they, even if it had been a holiday or whatever, they come right out. They kind of put me at the head of the line and don't charge overtime or anything if they have to stay over or anything it's just a straight charge whenever.

Great! He was very professional and cleaned the coils for free to keep from more damage.

They were able to come out the same day and fix my problem in one visit. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable. The price was not outrages. I received the Angie's List 20% discount.

Service technician Larry Wilson was pleasant, adept and effective. He proceeded like a physician in diagnosing the problem, beginning with the heat pump, then the thermostat, and finally, the condenser, which was not working at all. He immediately found the culprit, the contactor switch. He replaced it and filled the freon up to recommended pressure. He communicated very clearly during the process of the repair. This was out first experience with Sig Cox and we won't be contacting any other HVAC company in the future. Sig Cox delivers superb service in a timely manner.

They installed a new house unit, a heat and air pump, as well as a mini split. We're very happy with both.

Fantastic! My a/c went out overnight. I was up at 4 am looking for contractors. The google add mentioned 24 hour service. I gave a call left a message. Got a call back discussed possible issues that may have gone wrong. They came out in the time stated within 5 minutes found the bone remains of a snake that got fried. Sometime ago this snake got fried and weakened the connection of the hot wire going to the compressor. the whole fix was done within 15 minutes. Excellent service, very knowledgeable and will definitely call on them again for future service...

AC for my upstairs went out. I called Sig Cox because they had great reviews on Angie's listhe and now I see why. Mr. Larry showed up the next day right on time. He went straight to work trying to resolve our problem, even though it was 150 degrees in my attic. He found that the capacitor on the blower in the attic was bad. He replaced it. He also found that my circuit board and thermostat were also bad. He got the system back up and running. They are going to call later with an estimate on replacing the board. I replaced the thermostat myself. It's been a week and the system is still running great. I am very satisfied with how everything went. Mr. Larry was knowledgeable and professional. I believe Sig Cox is the best HVAC company in the area. I will definitely be using the from now on.

One AC unit went out and I called a week ahead to schedule an appmt when I would be available. Got a 3-5PM window. Day came, service guy didn't. Called the company, they dispatched another service guy who showed up by 6 PM and replaced a switch and capacitor to get unit running. Suggested a service contract to comeback and clean/check both units. The service-call guy showed up on time and appeared to do a good job. He found another capacitor that was worn so he replaced it (~$70). Just wish they had called me on the first job instead of me calling to find out what was going on. I know, services sometimes take longer than expected, so communications becomes important. I did engage them on a service contract due to their overall ratings and know sometimes things do happen.

Most thoruogh and professional A/C service I have ever been with. They were easy to schedule (We didn't have to wait three weeks) and great service. We will only use Sig Cox from here on out.

When Larry W. from Sic Cox arrived, we did not tell him that we wanted a second opinion since we were looking for an unbiased result. Larry was very professional and went to work quickly. He found a defective switch and was able to bypass it so he could determine if the freon was leaking. This was an option not taken by the previous company. Once he determined the unit was working properly and the freon level was within the proper range, he got the equipment back on line. We were very pleased that a new system was not needed and the unit was operating properly. It is an older unit (2002) but it is still functioning. We decided based on Larry's review that we would have both units cleaned and maintained by Sig Cox from here forward. The serviceman, Larry, is an excellent representative of their company and because of his professionalism we are pleased to now call on Sig Cox for all future service on our heating and cooling units. The company is great and we appreciate the referral from Angie's List. In addition we did advise Larry the we had another company in last week and their results were significantly different from his. We questioned in detail the differences and were impressed by his answers regarding his obvious depth of knowledge and understanding of the unit being serviced. In the end when we asked the cost for this service, he changed it the expected charge from $89 to N/C because there company policy is no charge for second opinions. This is another great reason to use we are pleased to now use Sig Cox for our future Heating and Air Conditioning service when needed. We highly recommend to other Angie List customers to call on Sig Cox if they need service or maintenance on their Heating and Cooling systems.
