Sig Cox Heating & Air Conditioning

Their price was in line with others but their service was excellent.  They were on time and came as promised.  Everything went well.

I came home on Saturday night to a thermostat reading 85 degrees.  Called Sig Cox the next morning (Sunday) at about 9:00 AM and left a message requesting a call back when they opened, the recording said that would be at noon.  I was surprised when I received a call back within the hour and a service man was at my door about 30 minutes later.  He was professional and pleasant.  Fixed my AC and checked to make sure it was blowing properly.  No problems since.  I rated the price as an A because I don't have a comparative framework, I did not get prices from other companies and don't know what anyone else would charge for the type of repair I received.  I used the 20% coupon but don't know if the price was adjusted upward in anticipation of this, she did ask on the phone if I had printed the coupon from Angie's List.

Many things impressed us about Sig Cox service: the estimate and work was timely and prompt, it was the best estimate out of 4 companies we received estimates from, the best option was presented to us with detailed explanation of why this was the best option, and they were great at answering all questions/concerns we had. John was thorough when examining our house for all the potential problem areas and ensured that we were happy with the finished product. Given our unusually cold winter last year and what appears to be the start of a very hot summer this year, we are thrilled to have had no problems with our HVAC. We would highly recommend Sig Cox to all and consider them our HVAC providers.

My air conditioner apparently quit working on Saturday.  It had been cooler outdoors so I hadn't noticed that it wasn't running.  It ended up getting so hot in the house on Saturday night that I couldn't sleep. I got up at 1am and that's when I discovered that although the blower was running, the unit outside was not.  I rent my house and texted my landlord Sunday morning to see who she wanted me to call.  I called the person she recommended but never got a call back.  At  4:30pm on Sunday, I gave up and called Sig Cox.  I was told that the service man would be here in about 30 minutes.  He got here in about 20.  He was very polite, and was careful not to track in any dirt on his shoes.    He checked several things and it turns out that it was just a tripped breaker.  I hadn't even thought of that since the blower was running.  He was very thorough and checked several things to see if he could find what had tripped the breaker.  He also showed me what to watch for and what to check in case this happens again.  I used the coupon from Angie's List and was able to save 20% of the charge!  Would definitely call them again.

An appointment has been setup to have a new return flow duct installed in the rear hall to allow a more efficient air flow in the house. During the inspection of the system it was determined that some of the duct work in the attic will have to be replaced at the same time. Will update this report when the work has been completed. Workers arrived and begun immediately on the new return and duct repair. They were in and out in 6.5 hours, with no mess. A very professional installation.

I contacted Sig Cox for an estimate on repair of my 24 year old furnace and was given an opportunity for a same day appointment. I selected an appointment for the following morning instead. The technician arrived on time and I explained the problem I was having with the furnace. He immediately knew what I was referring to and gave wise guidance on how to repair the switch and eliminating the problem completely. He also informed me of future issues that I would be facing due to the age of my furnace. I was very pleased with the service I received, his timeliness both in coming to my home and the time it took to repair the switch as well as how much it cost for the repairs. I would definitely contact them for future work. Thanks again!!

The tech has us up and running in an hour or less. A very professional experience. I would use Sig Cox again in a heart beat.

They redid the heating and air conditioning on the upstairs and downstairs. They were pretty good. We were happy with them.

They were great. Their prices were much cheaper than everyone elses. The owner is an engineer so he calculated everything exactly. The installation crew were very professional and courteous. They were very knowledgeable. Every question we had they answered.
