Response from Sig Cox Heating & Air Conditioning
An email was sent to the reviewer on 02/16. I did not get a reply, so I have included my email here as a response from our company. If you get read review please contact me, I am very anxious to speak to you about this. My tech reported to me this week that the unit was completely out of Freon, in general disrepair, and was 22 years old as best as he could remember. The actual service call was 6 months prior to the review so he was going from memory. "Thank you for your review on Angie's List. I take every Angie’s List review very seriously especially when a customer is displeased with our service." "The review was for a call we made in August of 2014. Our tech was out to inspect your heat pump. The review states that we recommended replacement of the system. Unfortunately I cannot find any notes in our system, no service tickets, and no invoice. I can only assume that we didn’t charge anything because he felt no long term repairs could be made that would make the system truly reliable." "I need your help if possible. I want to be sure my techs are not too quick to condemn a system. Many companies make their living just trying to sell replacement units and we absolutely do not agree with that. Do you have a copy of our service ticket still that you could email or fax to me? And if you were able to get the unit repaired, could you please share with me the repairs and the costs of those repairs. " "This will help me to use with my techs in our weekly meetings. This is the first “D” we have received since August of 2013, and one of only 4 total D reviews since 2008. A majority of our customers are happy with our service, and part of the reason is that I take a personal interest in making sure things stay that way." "Please contact me if I can be of any assistance or can correct this wrong somehow." John Haynie
