Sig Cox followed up the next morning with a crew to replace my 26 year old system and was on time and complete with 4 hours. Honest and professional service.

Description of Work: Sig Cox replaced my "old" under house crawl space ducts to the attic making the limited crawl space area more manageable to encapsulate. And replaced the "old" dead compressor and dying under-house air-handler. They did a great job!

Description of Work: Fixed my AC on a Saturday. We woke up on Saturday and realized our AC had quit working. I called Sig Cox and not only were they open on a Saturday but they made arrangements to come out to my house that same afternoon.

Description of Work: One of our air conditioning units locked up and was not cooling the house during the recent 100 degree heat wave. I initially tried to contact the company I have a service contract with, but found they don't have emergency service. So I chose Sig Cox based on their reviews here on Angie's List. They had a technician at the house very quickly, who replaced the fan motor. We knew when we bought the house in early 2014 that the A/C units were going to need replacement (over 25 years old), so it was not a surprise when the tech suggested we have the unit evaluated for cost effectiveness of replacement versus repair. Barrett came out later and looked at the unit, and recommended replacement - offering to take the cost of the already completed maintenance off the price of a new unit. I researched the model he recommended, and a few days later decided to go ahead and have the unit replaced. The tech who came out to do the replacement was prompt, polite and professional, and worked effectively despite the high temps outside and especially in our attic. Barrett came out twice to check on progress, and sent additional personnel to assist in the install. This was in the middle of the heat wave, and I know they were swamped with service requests. Now my house is comfortable, the unit is really quiet, and I've already seen a drop in my electric bill. I couldn't be happier with the service provided, and I will use Sig Cox again for my heating/cooling needs. The Angie's List coupon is great, too.

Description of Work: My inside unit was dripping water. Their competitor whom I have used for 13 years would not come out until Tues, 4 days away. I called sig cox and they were here the day my unit was clogged. The technican was very thourough and explained all he did. I will use them again

Description of Work: WE have a ten year old HVAC unit we are nursing till death and they came out to see why it was not cooling properly. As expected there was a leak and the repaired/recharged the system. then analyzed and gave us and upgrade cost with options. we will continue to nurse this system until it fails and the consider new. They were professional, punctual and not in a rush even though he had calls waiting. We greatly appreciated the time he took with us and he even changed our air filters while he was here!

Description of Work: Got on contract for HVAC system. Heater was initially checked out and filter changed, then he completely cleaned out my air conditioner. When I say completely, he spent about 45 mins to an hour cleaning it to make sure it was darn near spotless. Great service!
