I called and was told that I would get the first technician available. I was asked at what time I would be available. I was told that the wait would be about a week. In fact, it was only a couple of days. I was called early the day they wanted to come to set the time for the technician to arrive, and the technician arrived promptly at that time. He opened up the air conditioner and went right to the problem within minutes. He had the part on his truck and repaired it within twenty minutes. He explained that my charge was fine, but when I asked that he top it off just to be sure, he agreed. In under an hour he had my air conditioner up and running again. I have had no further problems.

This job needed to be done fairly quickly as my old air conditioner failed during an extended hot spell. Tom Boggess met with me in the same afternoon after my early morning phone call. I met with two other companies that same day. Busby's estimate was the highest of the three, but I chose them based on their slant toward promoting quality work and the time frame they said they could respond. The contract was signed on a Thursday and they had a crew on Saturday morning at my home to remove the old units. Another crew was there on Monday morning to begin the installation work. This was a fairly lengthy job since I had a significant problem with inadequate air return volume. The Installation crew on Monday was very good to work with. They sought my opinion on almost all aspects of the installation details. I needed to have part of the floor in a closet removed to accommodate the increased air return volume. I also had to have enlarged duct work added. The crew worked steadily and well.

He is very good and clean. I like using him because he is professional and knowledgeable. I have been using him for a while now and he has been good for me. I am satisfied with the work he does and I am comfortable using him. He is very respectful and does what we ask of him.

Overall, Busby's is wonderful. Their repairmen are prompt, courteous,neat, knowledgeable fellows who show up when you ask them, even after-hours in the rain. My home a/c unit is older, and when it started giving me trouble earlier in 2007, I called Busby's. While replacing fuses in my unit, the repairman noted that the heat exchangers had deteriorated to the point where the metal was literally crumbling away. I scheduled the repair with them, they came out in 3 days, replaced it, and it's been fine ever since. Their estimate was within $50 of the actual cost. My ONLY gripe with them is that they are pricey, but if you've got the money, they do have A-1 service.

They were very knowledgeable and gave me the best course of action to fix the problem. They gave me update on everything that they were doing through the process and cleared all decisions through me before doing any extra work. This company was awarded the 2006 BBB #1 companies with fewer than 100 employees for this area. They practice high ethics and are very upfront about everything. All of their technicians are continually trained on all developments in their field and are professional.
