Description of Work: Inspected house that I am purchasing. Mr. Benson arrived prior to the appointment. He spent about 2 1/2 hours performing the inspection. He had me come along on most of the inspection and pointed out anything that was either good or bad. He thoroughly went through both the attic and crawl space. He discussed the house with us onsite, and sent a detailed report by email with indexed pictures later that day. I would gladly work with Mr. Benson in the future.

Description of Work: We set a date and time to meet at my new house and he was waiting there when I arrived. Bill did a thorough inspection of the home, including climbing up to inspect the roof and testing all of the electric fixtures. The water was not available so he could not test the plumbing. All throughout, he was professional, factual, and thoroughly explained his findings. He provided a detailed report a few days later.

+ -1 moreMr. Benson was very thorough, knowledgeable and professional in our home inspection and in the weeks following. After the seller fixed the problems that he found, he came back and reinspected at no additional charge. After we had already closed on the house, I called him with questions regarding some renovations we wanted to make and he was very helpful and even said that if I had any more questions, to call him anytime.
Description of Work: Mr. Benson performed a home inspection and reinspection on a home we purchased in Augusta, GA.

+ -1 moreI like everything about him! He was reasonable in terms of price and considerate overall. He educated me about things I didn’t know as I don’t deal with houses like that. Bill was prompt and very thorough in his inspection. The seller has agreed to his corrections. He has good customer service and is considerate of the home he’s inspecting. I would definitely recommend him to other people!

+ -1 moreHe performed the inspection as quickly as we needed it, was punctual and very professional. The inspection took approximately 2-1/2 hours and was very thorough. He went on roof, under crawlspace, in attic, and checked breaker panel and receptacles among other things. He discussed what he found with us and suggested repair methods as well as what was normal for a house our age. We received the inspection report by email the following day. It contained good detail and pictures to help us make repairs.

+ -1 moreMr. Benson was already taking pictures of the house when I showed up (early). He completed a very thorough inspection of the property and provided good advice for issues to be addressed by owner and what I could do to improve the property should I buy. His end report was 3 times longer than the previous home inspection and was more thorough in the comments (with more photos as well). Mr. Benson was quick in answering my questions on later email about certain code requirements and building norms. Would definitely recommend to others.
