It went great.

I called them one day, and they came the next day. When they left, our door opener worked fine.

Upon returning from church on Sunday 10/2, I found that the garage door would not raise with the garage door opener nor with the emergency release. I contacted Access Garage Door that day, left a voice mail message, and received a call back within 30 minutes. I briefly explained the problem and was advised, based on my totally non-technical description, the technician identified the problem as a broken main spring and scheduled a time early the next morning to come by for the repair. Unfortunately, I had thought that the door had a single spring, but the next morning the technician identified that there were two springs. The technician did not have the correct springs on his truck and was highly apologetic for what was actually my mistake. He manually got the door open so I could get to work and set an appointment to return later that afternoon to effect the repair. He returned as scheduled and not only replaced the door springs, but also the guide rollers which significantly reduced the noise when opening and closing the door and adjusted the chain and tension to get a better bottom seal on the door. Completely professional and efficient. I was beyond pleased with the company and its service and will definitely go to them in the future for any garage door issues.

Came home from vacation and started to open garage door. Got halfway and then it slammed to the ground. Springs that pull door open broke. Called Access garage repair. They came to the house within 30 minutes and evaluated the problem. Now I don't have a regular size garage door. It is commercial size so the springs had to be ordered. They had the springs overnighted and the door was working again by 11:00 the next day. They even reinforced the pulling arm bracket. I was thoroughly impressed and glad that I contacted this company.

Garage door spring failed . I called company on weekend. He ask for details on my set up and made appointment to fix. Owner arrived at 2 pm on a Sunday to fix. Replaced unit in 30 min. Door works great. He took time to explain what happened to the old unit and why he made the repairs he did. Tested and adjusted the door before he left and was sure that I was happy with his work. In my opinion the price was more than reasonable. A real pleasure! NOTE: This company is listed in two places on Angie's list using the same company name and same owner. This listing has no reports but it has correct contact information, correct web site and correct hours of service. The other listing has some great reports but all the wrong company information-- contact info is wrong, web site is wrong, address is wrong and hours of service are wrong.

Arrived a little later than estimated but gave a call to let me know his exact arrival time. Very professional and gave a fair price. Honest, could have charged me a lot more and sold me services and parts that I did not need. Michael comes with my highest recommendation. He was very efficient with the repair.

A small stick got caught in the track, which caused the door to get bent and the springs to come away from where they were supposed to be. They saw the problem immediately, fixed the bent door and reinforced it. They also suggested a couple of things we could do ourselves to save money. I used them one time before when a power surge shorted out my remote. Again, rapid response, efficient and very nice!

Carpenter never called.

I had lost 3 of 4 garage door openers and needed them replaced. This service did that, reprogrammed my system to the new openers and serviced the doors.

They were less expensive and did a better job done than another service provider that our neighbor had used. They did a really good job.

The failure occurred over the weekend. So I waited until 730 AM on Monday morning to call. I got the answering machine and was called back within 30 seconds. Michael (whom I believe is the owner) arrived at my house by 925 AM the same day and was finished at approximately 1030. This company is a no-nonsense company. They arrived with all the necessary parts and did the job without any of the usual stupidities so common in the Augusta GA area. While it would have been very easy for him to sell me a new garage door opener, he repaired the one I have and it works great! This is one of the best experiences I've had with business in Augusta in 20 years. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with a garage door issue. My garage door opener is over 20 years old and I no longer dread it wearing out. I know who I'm going to call when it does! I repeat! I would highly recommend this business!

The service we received overall was great. I could not be more happy.

Called for estimate on repairing garage door. Rep explained why repair would not be wise; decided to replace door. Door was ordered, was called when it came in and we scheduled an install date. Door was installed in a timely manner. Had a problem with remote next day called Michael; he sent someone within a few hours. Sales rep and installer very professional and gave good information and suggestions.

We'd previously gone through Access Garage to replace our dry-rotting, warped old garage door. Michael was very responsive and gave us several options for the door, including repair. He was honest and gave us a fair quote on replacing both the door and then later the opener. His crew was friendly and efficient, and cleaned up after their work. Overall, had a very positive experience with this company, and would recommend it.

They did a great job, I was really happy with the price, and happy with the doors. The only slight issue was that the installer didn't have enough wire to wire the controllers the well, so I plan to have my electrician re-do that part. Their price was better than other estimates I got, and the owner of the company, his staff, and the installer were all first-rate. I would definitely use this company again.
