Michael and his team are outstanding! This is the 3rd time we have had them replace garage doors in the last 10 years on 3 different houses. I would also recommend Access for repairs as we have had them do various ones on older doors before they were replaced. Each and every time anyone from Access has come to service or install garage doors or motors, they are prompt, professional, and prepared. The service techs and the installation techs always have the supplies they need, and they are efficient in their time use while they are working. They are helpful and patient as they explain how to use new products or explain what was repaired and how. Michael is a great communicator and is extremely reliable. I honestly cannot recommend Access highly enough!

I have used Access Garage Door Services exclusively for the past few years. They have done much work for me including installing a motor on the door in my residence, repairing/replacing the coil, and replacing doors in both my rental home and residence. EVERY SINGLE TIME, the workmen are prompt, thorough and courteous. This experience was much the same. I called the office the day of my dilemma and someone came out to repair the garage the same day! I have NEVER had any trouble with any repairs this company has done or products they have installed. I HIGHLY recommend Access!!!!

Door works much better than it did, quieter also. The door hit something when closing and was knocked off track. That was on Sunday, called Monday morning and Michael was able to come out that afternoon. We were able to close the door so it wasn't an emergency. Michael was prompt, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Will use again and recommend.

After reviewing and discussing the deal on Angie’s List, the manager of Precision Garage Service informed that the belt drive I wanted would cost more than the deal advertised on Angie’s List. I accepted the price of $384.00 including installation and schedule the installation for the next coming Saturday. The installer missed the first appointment, stating he could not find the address but he never called to ask for directions. I found that after I called to inquired where he was. A second appointment was set-up for the following week. The installer showed-up on time and proceeded to install the garage opener. At one point, I went to the garage and found that he had drilled the ceiling in three areas looking for the studs. I did ask him “how come he doesn’t have a stud finder?” He answered that he never had this problems before and that the studs were not set on the customary way. This was something I doubt it since this is a new construction and the codes do not allow deviation from the State/County codes. Upon completion, he came inside gave me the bill for $15.00 over the estimate, which I did not, noticed until he was gone. He left leaving all the extra holes he drilled uncover, and since he works with his hands dirty, black marks all over the area, where he works on the garage that it painted in white. He also did not install lights on the unit neither bother to offer orientation on the functions of the garage opener or help me to pair my car system with the system. After a call to the main office, I was informed that he would return to correct the issues he left behind; the manager also agreed to reimburse the $15.00 overpayment after the check clear her back. Something that she did in a reasonable time. The installer, did return to my home to correct the problem with the lights from working and apply plaster over the excess holes. Because, once again, he did it with his hands dirty, he left the ceiling area a lot worse than before. I did not report the issue to the main office since I resolve to do it myself and take care of the matter when I do the rating of the service. This may have been a one-of-a time incident but honestly, at this time, I cannot recommend Precision Garage Door Service.

This is the second time I have used them.First time to repair rollers and oil everything.Today the owner Michael Johnson came to replace the items mentioned above.Fantastic service and price.Called @ 5PM Wednesday he came the next morning @ 10 AM.I would highly recommend them to everyone!!!

I called the provider around 9:00 a.m. and told them that I thought I had a broken garage door spring. I said I could not lift the door and my car was inside the garage. They said they could have a technician there shortly after 1:00 p.m. that day. The technician actually arrived around 12:45 p.m. and replaced the broken spring in about 45 minutes. Very professional and reasonable cost.

Michael is most personable and professional. He was cordial, patient, and answered all my questions, most of them with demonstrations. I had called because I couldn't use my remote to open my garage door, even after I changed batteries. The first thing Michael did when he arrived was ask to see my remote. He took out the battery and told me it was the wrong one, but very similar to what the correct battery was. He replaced the battery. I asked him if he would be able to change the light bulb in the garage door opener, and he did. He told me the size light bulb needed and how to open the two screws that held the light cover in place. I first contacted Access Garage Door Services last week, after reading his great reviews on Angie's List. I left a message and he called me back within a few hours. We made an appointment for two days later, but I had to cancel the day before. I left him a message that I had to cancel, and he called me back within 30 minutes and we agreed that I would call him this morning. I called about 11 a.m., and he said he could be over between 2 and 2:30 p.m. today. He was very punctual. I've gone into all the detail here about the times and appointments because I have experienced contractors, in other types of services, either not call me back or not come out for a scheduled appointment and not called to explain or to reschedule. It is very important to me that contractors return phone calls, are professional and punctual, and do quality work, without trying to sell me something I don't need. I think Michael is honest, professional, timely, a good communicator, and someone who sincerely wants to help his customers. I would use his services again in a heartbeat.

Prompt, courteous, professional and a pleasure to work with. I give them an A+. I wish other companies operated in the same manner.

Excellent work. Garage door cable came of the track with the door in the up position at 7:30 pm on a Saturday. To make matters worse, the door rollers on the opposite side had come off the track! Mr. Jones, the owner, made a couple of phones and then called back to say he was on the way. He arrived within ten minutes and fixed both problems in less than an hour. His price for this emergency sevices was just 100.00. This was a great experience,

It job went very well and I was pleased with his timely manor in which the job was done, he was very friendly and we discussed replacing our doors with new ones since mine are getting some age on them and need replacing. I was very pleased with the work and will be using Access again soon.

The Access 2 man team arrived during the time frame provided. They removed the old opener and installed the new opener in about an hour. They took the old opener and parts for disposal. They also tightened bolts on the garage door and reframed one of the door windows. They programmed my 2 vehicles that have a built in remote control. We have been needing a new garage door opener for a few months and finally got around to having someone look at it. Spoke with Mr. Johnson on 4/18/2013. He said they could come out the next day and replace it. I was ecstatic. Was called before arrival and then the person noted that I had a oversized door and he was going to need help. He called Mr. Johnson who showed up a few minutes later. They replaced the opener, installed an outdoor wireless opener, and even fixed the beams that was holding the door. Total time til completion 53 minutes. Both gentlemen were professional and efficient. I would most definitely use their services again in the future.

The company answered the phone promptly when we called. Spoke with Michael. He advised us of when he could be here to repair the door. He showed up when he said he would. He was polite and professional. Based on his recomendations we had him replaced the main torsion spring with two smaller springs. The door works better now than it has over the last twenty years. He also warranted the springs for three years. I would highly recomend this guy. No frills, no BS. He did an excellant job for a more than reasonable price.

I called for an estimate to repair my garage door. I was very pleased with the prompt and courteous response. We agreed upon a time to come and see what needed to be done. It was repaired within an hour and the it works great. Would recommend them and will call if I ever need my door serviced.

I called on a Monday morning and Michael came out that afternoon. He was very professional and prompt. He discovered a short in the garage opener and also the sensors were not working so he installed an extra pair that I had. I was very pleased with the quick response and how quick he was able to fix the problem .Even though my house was newer and the company that made the garage door motor sent me a new electronic board, that did not fix it and I was tired of messing with it. I will definitely call him in the future!

Wife woke me up and said the garage door wouldn't open. I discovered one of the torsion springs had broken. We were planning on going out of town for the weekend so I had to find something fast. Lowes and Home Depot didn't sell them. Another company I looked at said they would sell me the springs but I had to bring them in to make sure was sold the right size. I found Access Garage Door's website and saw they did same day service, so I called. Michael was very polite. I called about 9am, he said he could meet me at 10. He quoted me about $70 for each spring, and I would need to replace both at $150 since they were 15yrs old, and $80 in labor. The springs cost $20 more each than I found elsewhere, but since I didn't have the time or know how, I let him do it. He was right on time, looked at the job, got the things he needed and was done in an hour. Told me what he was doing and how to do things right. It's not a hard job, but without understanding the order things are done in, it can cause serious injury. He said the biggest mistake DIY'ers make is forgetting that when the garage door is down, the springs are under pressure.

He was very professional and explained everything. He oiled all the necessary parts and now my garage door opens very smoothly and quietly.

My daughter and I decided to give my husband a new garage door for Father's Day. It had been broken almost 2 years. We found Access Garage Door in Angie's List and my daughter called them. Michael gave her a price and they determined a day to do the job, but my daughter told him I would call later with a definite yes or no. By the time I got to call, it was almost 7 in the evening. This was a surprise, though, and I had to wait until my husband left the house. Michael took the call we made the final decision. They came and did the installation as promised and the job was done well. Both men were very neat and polite and I would definitely recommend them.

It went well. The problem was diagnosed and fixed in just 20 or 30 minutes and the price was good.
