Superb. It could only have been better if he'd brought doughnuts. He showed up early, having already arranged entry with the broker and walked the property. His 20+ experience in the Inman/Highland/Grant Park neighborhoods was invaluable. Very comprehensive inspection of all systems, roof, floors, basement, crawl space, etc. of the house and property. His expertise was comprehensive and suggestions were both practical and thorough.

I was very impressed with Pete. He called and e-mailed me back quickly, and although he could have performed the inspection work I was looking for, he was forthcoming in instead referring me to another inspector who specializes in the specific type of work I am having done. I'm using that other specialist now, who is a fantastic referral, but I wanted to put in a good word for Pete, since I was impressed that he wanted to find me the best possible person for my specific job. I would definitely call him in the future for another home inspection job.

The inspection went perfectly. The inspector was knowledgeable, friendly, cool and collected. Trouble spots were pointed out and solutions were explained in plain English. We noticed some structural problems in the foundation of the home as well as some problems with the Chimney leaning. The home was originally built in 1925 and the inspector said he specialized in old homes and lived in one himself; this made me very comfortable with his inspection. Would recommend to anyone in need of a home inspection, particularly an older one.

The only thing they didn't do was anything involving mold issues, but we were told this upfront. We spent three hours crawling through every nook and cranny of the home. I took the notes, and he offered advice for how to do certain repairs. Anyone who uses this company will get more than their money's worth and also a wealth of knowledge. He was very cordial, professional, and very prompt.

The whole experience was great. Pete was very punctual (actually beat me to the home) and walked me through all the Ts and Cs of the contract before asking me to sign. He completed a very thorough (2.5 hour) inspection on the 2002-era house. He asked me if I had some paper so that I could take notes on so I could capture his suggestions that would not be part of the inspection report. It was great! I have over 2 pages of notes. I have owned multiple houses in the past and Pete provided suggestions I would not have thought of. We were on a tight time line to get any concerns back to the seller, so at the end of the inspection he gave me a copy of his overall checklist. The next day he emailed me a typed version for my records. It was a very good experience to walk the house with Pete, as he was professional and I feel genuinely wanted to do the best he could to help us transition into the new house. I really recommend Pete and Triangle Services.

It was a very thorough, very careful, very detailed, and very accessible and easy-to-understand inspection. I followed Pete around, putting on one of those Guantanamo Bay orange suits that he has, going into the attic, into the crawl space, and so on. It was very informative, and I definitely recommend that you do that with him. In the house we did buy, Pete told us which things he thought were urgent, and we dealt with those after buying the house. We actually got some money from the seller to do some of that work, and that is absolutely a great reason to have such a careful inspector. Pete is exactly what you want in your home inspector. He is competent yet able to explain to you what things mean in clear and accessible language. He would never give you an answer that he wasn't competent to give, and you can really trust his assessments and advice. Highly recommended. I'd definitely use Triangle/Pete Fricker again.

Mr. Fricker performed a great inspection. He encouraged me to follow him throughout the entire inspection process and I learned a lot about maintenance for our new home. Mr. Fricker was very knowledgeable about our type of house.

We met Pete this morning at our soon to be new home. He started the inspection at our back deck and our siding. He explained the maintenance that our siding will require. He then walked us around our house, looking for places in our siding that looked problematic. He inspected the outside elements of our HVAC before moving to our front porch and eventually our garage. He showed us our hot water heater and explained how we will need to keep it up; then we went inside. His inspection included each room of the house, looking at the layout of the heating and air condition as well as for signs of the house settling. After doing a thorough inspection of each of the rooms, he checked out the attic crawl space, even checking the blown insulation in our attic with his bare hands (a very itchy prospect, for those of you who have never dealt with loose insulation).

Contractor spent a couple of hours reviewing electricity, plumbing, kitchen, bath, basement, HVAC system outside structure. I recorded a lot of helpful information as to what the potential problems were, what I could do easily to enhance the structure and systems, and what I ought to focus on ahead of other projects.

It went incredibly well. Not only did Pete know the current code and what needed to be done to the house to bring it up to code, he knew the neighborhood and type of work that goes on in the neighborhood. I live in East Atlanta. I received more detail on everything going on in the house than I knew what to do with. Pete also knows what goes into the construction and renovation of Intown houses so can look at a renovated house from the eye of the person who knows how to do the work. I have heard of home inspectors who rush through a house so they can get on to another. That's not Pete. I was the only job he booked that day. I would recommend these guys for anyone buying in town or anywhere for that matter.

He was absolutely wonderful. I would call him again in a heartbeat. He was reasonable, on time, and really knows his stuff.

Overall it went better than I thought it would. He walks you through everything he talks to you the whole time so you understand what he is doing. My mother was so impressed with him she wants him to inspect her house. This man is good at his job. If you want the job done right, I would call Pete.

I am very happy with the inspection. Pete showed up early and did a very through job. He went beyond the call of duty by letting me know little things that needed repair, helpful hints and the best way to get repairs done. He found a major problem with the chimney that saved us $2500. He crawled around in our basement to ensure everything was OK.
