It went well. He pointed out some basement areas that I needed to look into. He appeared to do a through investigation. I was referred to him by a realtor/home investor who highly recommended Triangle Services. Overall I am pleased with the services.

Just wanted him to verify condition of flooring system(joist, beams). Pete came out and inspected in a timely manner. Upon completing inspection I ask him if he would email me a write-up for my records. He quoited me a price for the inspection of $100. He said it would be an extra $25 for the write-up. We gave him a check for $125 dollars... After several days passed and contractors had already started to work on my flooring system I contacted him and left voice message that since work had already begun I no longer needed the written report would he please refund the $25 I paid for the write up that I didn't get. He failed to return my calls for several days. I then left him one a message stating that I wanted to give him one more chance to make it right before I filed a bad review on this list. He responded to that message saying he was sorry he had been very sick and he would get the check to me. After several more days passed I sent him a phone text message on 2/17/14 listing my mailing address(which he already had). On 3/06 I sent him another phone text asking if he got my mailing address. He replied yes and to check my mail. He said he sent it out with a large group of mail on Sunday. Said he felt so bad he maid the check out ror $50 as an apology for inconvenience. I notified him on 3/18 via phone text that I hadn't received the check and I only wanted the $25 back. On 4/3 I sent one more phone text inquiring if he was STILL OUT THERE? AND DID HE GET MY LAST TEXT ABOUT NOT GETTING THE LAST TEXT. THAT WAS MY LAST ATTEMPT TO CONTACT HIM... He seemed like such a nice guy.. Don't know why he would do something that would affect his business over a lousy $25 dollars.. Oh well. If he can live with it, I can live without it!!!

Pete was great. He came out and did a thorough inspection and was prompt with providing his report. I would definitely recommend him.

Pete was great to work with. He arrived on time and did a thorough inspection of the home I plan to purchase. He originally quoted $395 but because the water was not working due to stolen pipes he reduced my fee to $350. His inspection report was to me in 24 hours as he stated.

He showed up on time and was flexible as to appointment times and dates. He completed the on-site work just fine on Wednesday 4-4. When it came to producing the report -- the situation got a lot harder for me. He promised to email me the report in 24hours. I did not hear from him until I called him on Friday morning 4-6. He said he had taken sick just after he saw me on Wed. and needed more time and would "try and get the report out by the end of the day". I waited another 48 hours and called him on Easter Sunday morning 4-8. He said he had already emailed the report two days earlier and was at a loss to explain why I didn't receive it. He emailed it again while I was on the phone and it came to me just fine. I noticed some errors that he blamed on "the software" He said he would get to fixing the errors once his Easter Sunday breakfast was over. I asked for some additional detail in the specifics of several sections of the report and he said that would not be a problem. I had to call him again in the afternoon and he said his elderly relative was holding his attention and apologized but she was the "matriarch of the family and no way was he going to go to his desk while she was engaged in visiting". (I was thinking "jeez I just want my report, I don't want to be this deep in this guy's life") Anyhow after a series of phone calls by me to him all errors were resolved and additions were added to beef up the report in the desired sections. I asked for a conclusion section to be provided at the end of the report and he said "not possible as the software is kind of clunky" and does not provide that functionality. I asked for the one photo in the report be made larger for easier viewing and he again said the software would not allow that to happen. I tried real hard to remain nice and professional but it was tough. He is a nice enough guy but getting to the end product was tougher than it had to be for me--the customer.

The service was excellent. Pete provided excellent communication, showed up on time and was very professional. He did a thorough job and pointed out a number of features of the house that I didn't even know were there! I felt very comfortaable with everything he said. He seemed impartial, not trying to sell me on anything else. He also charged severl hundred dollars less than the company recommended by my realtor. Pete delivered a well-organized, thorough and concise report within 48 hours of the inspection, even though the inspection took place on Friday.

From the reviews on Angie's list I had high expectations. Scheduling was great and he came on time and started. Inspection of a 5 bed/4 bath house took about three hours. He walked my husband through some things he was finding and seemed to do a thorough job. When he got up in the attic he left a pile of insulation on the carpet when he left -- prompted a very nasty call from the seller's realtor who, rightly, said it was not appropriate for us to leave a mess in a house that was not ours and was still on the market. (Our realtor had to go back and clean up after him.) Then the real problems started. Inspection was on a Friday morning. By Saturday afternoon, I called to ask where the report was. On Sunday morning I finally hear that he's having trouble with the software he uses to create his reports. He talks at great length about what a pain it is for him and how he doesn't want to re-type the whole thing again. Promises to deliver a report by Sun afternoon. Sunday afternoon comes and goes with no updates, nothing. On Monday morning I leave a pointed message on his voicemail. He calls and says he's on the way to an inspection and will try to do something on Monday afternoon. His inspection is cancelled and late Monday we receive a typed report that was just bullet points along with poor quality iphone pictures -- at this point I feel like I'm begging for anything. My realtor had to basically apologize for the shape the report was in, the snotty tone it had ("ex: this plumbing is just plain wrong." ) and assure them that it was from a real, certified inspector. I was mortified by the whole thing. Not at all what I expected for $425 (minus Angie's list coupon.) It wasn't that his software didn't work, it was that he really cared most about what an inconvenience it was to him and was put out that I was calling all the time.

As a first time home buyer I was uneasy about my home inspection and wanted to find a great inspector. I selected Pete with triangle services due to his great review on Angies list and his 30% off coupon. I could not have been more thrilled with his service. I wanted to know anything that could cause me problems and cost me money down the road. Not only did he take me through room by room to show me every single issue but also prioritized things for me. I literally know every screw that needs replacing, details I wanted to know but never expected getting. With talking to him I learned that he renovates and owns his own properties and discussed how he did several DIY projects and how some should be left to professionals, Pete was phenomenal and thorough. I highly highly recommend his services.

He arrived early, and was already working before I arrived. He was very thorough and even encouraged me to walk around with him and was willing to answer all my questions. His follow up was great. It was an inch thick binder. I would easily recommend him to anyone.

Mr. Fricker was on time, on the mark, and in the money; a winning combination in any field of endeavor. He arrived almost exactly on time (a little early, in fact), got to work promptly, diligently, taking the appropriate steps for a useful inspection, and informed me of his conclusions in detail, with no waste of words or time, and with a tone and demeanor that inspired confidence. I was able to select the correct contractor and get the repairs done the next day, based on his advice.

Pete came out to a house that we were in the process of buying after another inspector from another company failed to show up. He was able to come out on the day after we made the appointment and met us all the way in Villa Rica. His inspection was thorough and he told us about how each problem was created and the cost of fixing it. He even offered information about how to install a bathroom downstairs and sent us information on some cost-saving techniques after the inspection was done. He was completely professional and you can tell he's a wonderful person. He offered advice to my younger brother who is thinking about joining the Army. He found so many small problems that I think other inspectors might have missed. I have purchased a home in the past and my main regret is that Pete wasn't there to inspect it. He climbed on the roof. He inspected each and every electrical outlet (even removing the breaker box cover to check out the wiring. He documented everything, giving us a professional-looking book immediately afterward and a full and professional summary (with photos) less than 24 hours after the inspection. I will definitely hire him if we ever buy a home in this area again.

Pete was fantastic to work with. Pete showed up and got to work immediately. Pete was a constant professional throughout the inspection. He provided me with the assurance that I needed to feel comfortable with the in's and out's of the house. He was able to recommend a number of items to be fixed and communicated these in the report. The report that was provided was given in a summary format within 1 day and then a detailed version followed soon thereafter. The formal report was very well put together with excellent pictures to support the issues. The professionalism with how the findings were presented in the report I strongly believe influenced the seller and the listing agent to fix a number of the issues that Pete found/uncovered. Pete was 15 minutes early, just like everyone said he would be, and we got right to work. After discussing what I needed, he suggested a way to do the job at a lower price than he originally quoted. Three hours later, after a thorough investigation of the home, and numerous reccomendations, many of which would be easy for the average homeowner to do themselves, we were finished. Extremely satisfied overall.

My wife and I are in the process of buying a home and of course needed a home inspection. We found Pete on Angie's list. It was a very educational experience. He is well versed in his craft. He even made the offer to answer any questions we might have after we purchased the home(10 days or 10 years later). He has been and will be around for a very long time. I would recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection.

Pete is just the best - super knowledgable, super nice guy, and just a huge help overall. He was extremely thorough on the home inspection; he paid special attention to areas of concern and gave helpful tips throughout the process. I liked the binder he uses for the full report too - it's well-organized and has several helpful hints, definitions and reminders in it, which is really valuable since our new home is a bit larger and a bit older than our last one. I had to re-schedule the reinspection several times due to delays on repairs, changes to the closing date, etc., but Pete was very accommodating and did his best to fit me into his schedule on short notice.

I'm so glad a friend recommended Pete. He told me up front that he wanted me to observe everything with him, and that it would take about 3 hours. I wanted very much to learn and understand as much as possible, and my hopes and expectations were very much exceeded! I am extremely unhappy with Triange's services. It has now been nearly a month and we have yet to receive our inspection report, despite numerous emails to Pete Fricker. I believe $395 was on the high side for a report of this nature, and QUITE a lot to pay for no report at all. The services rendered were of very high quality. The inspector was very flexible with my scheulde a definite plus with a new construction home. He was very considerate and attentive to details. I have used home inspectors before but the services obtained from Triangle exceeded my expectations. If you are considering a previously owned home in this area - This inspectors knowledge of the neighborhoods is very high and he would be able to provide a lot of information regarding historical construction methods and likely problems that need to be investigated or anticipated.

Pete performed an inspection on a home we're buying next week. I hired Pete once before over 10 years ago, and he left such a good impression, he was the first person I thought of when it was to start thinking about the inspection. Just like before, Pete showed up promptly - actually before I got there - and was ready to work. I was 5 minutes late, and before I got there he had already spotted a bees nest in the outer walls, made phone calls, and had a phone number of the best person to take care of it. Pete meticulously walked, crawled and climbed around the house looking into every nook and cranny - guiding me along every step of the way. He tested every outlet, looked under the carpet, in the attic, behind, above and below everything. He gave me a notepad and pen to take notes as we went over problems, potential problems, maintenance that needed to be performed, should be performed or could be performed. When we went under the house Pete helped me to understand all the stuff going on underneath. He taught about a-vent and b-vent, the right stuff to kill mold, what needed to go, and how to create a moisture barrier to keep a healthy environment up above. He let me borrow a fancy coverall suit to crawl around with him into all the dark recesses of the mysterious underworld. After 3 hours (and this is a small home) I felt totally confident that we had covered every single square inch. I walked away with a feeling that I understood the current health of the home and everything I needed to know about it to make it perfect. Moreover, I now feel totally confident that the purchase we are about to make is a good one. Not only did Pete do a great job, he's also highly professional and a pleasure to be around.
