I worked with Janis Zagoria. She did an excellent job for me. She was responsive, and helpful. Most importantly, she was patient! We're very picky, but Janis put the time and effort in to show us house after house until we found the right one.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about John Nickle of The Zac Team. I found him serendipitously while looking online for condos in the Midtown area. He went above and beyond given that I'm relocating from ~400 miles away. In addition to setting up a search, he videoed prospective places and checked out the neighborhoods. Once I found a place, he expedited the inspection process and helped me find contractors to do renovation work. The entire process has been smooth, enjoyable (!), and his willingness to go above and beyond are a rarity.

We worked with the Zac Team to sell our condo in Va. Highlands and buy our new home in Morningside. Once Laura Lowry helped us to find our perfect home the condo needed to sell quickly and they earned every bit of their commissions by marketing it extremely well (helped with staging, hired a professional photographer - all included in their commission). Brian Rothstein was absolutely invaluable on the selling side and we sold in FOUR DAYS! Everything went perfectly at closing on both the condo and the new home, they even helped us sort through the different options for a home warranty. Zac team is the absolute best in the Atlanta Intown area, hands down!

We worked with the Zac Team to purchase our new home in the midtown area. We contacted the team & we were placed with Tracy, as she works with first time buyers often & we had no clue what we were doing. We felt like we were taken seriously, even with our humble budget, which meant the world to both of us. Tracy took us out about once a week to see a list of 5-7 homes & was always available; she let us know ahead of time if she wasn't going to be available which was great! The only part of the process that we felt uncomfortable with was the actual closing. It appeared that there was a lot of miscommunication & missed details between all parties and we didn't feel like we received much guidance from the time the contract was finalized to the day of closing. We figured this was the norm, accepted it & moved on. Overall, the experience was a whirlwind of emotions but we appreciate the Zac Team for being on our side during the contract negotiations, which is why we would recommend Tracy for first time home buyers. We recently purchased a home using the Zak Team. The purchase went very smoothly, starting with an introductory appointment at the office where we met Zak and our own agent Alli Maddox. Alli was personal and professional from the start, and laid out all the steps that we would go through to find and purchase a house. She is a wonderful agent, and I was really impressed by her ability to handle multiple tasks very easily. She was quick to respond to all my communications and patiently answered every question no matter how small or silly they seemed. I would highly recommend Alli Maddox for any real estate needs you might have…she is terrific!

Ken and the Zac team were consummate professionals. They were there for us at every step of the sales process, from counseling us to proactively inspect and repair the house, through negotiations, and all the way to closing dealing with extremely difficult buyers and a lot of tension. We'd use them again in a heartbeat.

This was a terrible experience. A. Right from the start at our first meeting, the sales estimate/commission/net profit sheet - the good, better, best breakdown - was incorrect. The Realtor hand-corrected it while we were going over the numbers, but the original sheet prepared for the presentation was QUITE off. B.Then when signing the exclusive listing agreement with the Zac Team, the contract was incorrect a NUMBER of times, and in important ways, which I was catching, not the Realtor. I finally signed the last version out of exasperation but brought it to Realtor's attention that the way the agreement was filled out stated that the contract didn't actually START for four (4) months. I reminded him of this detail again later, expecting to sign a new contract, but it never happened. When we closed on my condo, and I didn't have an active contract with The Zac Team (and never did). It was perturbing that this was a detail that is important to the Zac Team but I was the one worrying about and following up on it. C. Another example - while my condo was listed, my icemaker broke. I told the Realtor about it and asked about updating my disclosure. He said we didn't have to worry about updating the disclosure - we just had to remember to disclose the broken icemaker. I found this stressful - why did we have to try to remember details like this when it is so easy to update the paperwork? I let it go for awhile, and then decided to find the link to the online disclosure on my own and updated it and informed the Realtor that I had done this. Unfortunately, it was too late for the woman who ultimately ended up buying my condo - she had downloaded the old form. D. I had negotiated a sellers possession after the sale - so that I could stay in the condo for a few days after the closing. Apparently the Buyer must have regretted agreeing to this, because she was pushing to move in right away. My Realtor was stressing me out about this, advocating for Buyer, instead of me (and I was his client)! There was nothing unclear or unsettled about the sellers possession clause - the contract clearly stated that I had X number of days to remain in the condo after close. I expected to be backed up on this by my Realtor, not harassed by my Realtor on the Buyer's behalf. E. After receiving a request for feedback from the Zac Team on how they performed, I emailed Zac directly on April 20th, informing him of items A-C above (D hadn't happened yet). Eight (8) days later he emailed back to say he would respond later. I waited, and waited, and never heard back. I followed up on August 11th, and Zac replied that he was leaving on vacation and would respond after he got back. On August 12th, Zac sent a short apology. All around, the paperwork did not seem like it was important to The Zac Team whatsoever. Paperwork is what a lot of people, people like me, stress over, and it's the main reason we hire Realtors - to take care of dotting the i's and crossing the t's. I had lost all confidence in The Zac Team and had been very stressed about the closing and any possible repercussions after the sale if any details haven't been handled correctly. ...The very thing that most motivated me to hire a Realtor, is the very thing that The Zac Team seems to be the worst at. My Zac Team Realtor ended up being the Buyer's advocate in the end, even though I, the Seller, was paying him. I never had a valid contract with The Zac Team (even after I followed up on this), but they collected their full fee, of course. The way my complaints were handled by Zac was deplorable. The Zac Team has misrepresented facts in its response to my review - and I need to be able to clarify them.

There was no cost for the service. They will send you a report monthly or bimonthly regarding your home including the value and other facts. They are very good and I like them. My experience went very well.

My home sold in about four months. Zac made himself available and we dealt with one of his agents as well. They are very approachable. Their pricing was excellent. Overall, my experience with them was great!

I thought it went well. I had seen their signs around the neighborhood for many years and they were successful. Their pricing is standard. It was a big house and it sold in six months. Overall, my experience with him went very well.

The Zac Team did a terrific job helping me find an amazing home in the Atlanta area. They started working with me over the internet well over 18 months before I made my purchase while I was stationed overseas in the Navy. This gave me a good idea of the Atlanta housing market when I made my first house hunting visit 6 months ago. My realtor (Anna) was always well prepared and was able to quickly determine the kind of home I was looking for (not easy since I had several specific home requirements). Anna always had more homes for me to see than I anticipated which was extremely helpful in making the most efficient use of limited time on my house hunting visits. This is my first pre-owned home purchase and The Zac Team made it pretty painless from beginning to closing. Many Thanks to the Zac Team for finding me an incredible home!
