It bears repeating the work performed was stellar! It is impossible for me to tell where the patched holes were due to Patrick's skill and eye. The texture matched and the paint matching made the repairs invisible. Patrick is a professional and a pleasure to work with. While I'm not happy the woodpeckers attacked my home, I'm always glad that Patrick is there to have our back.

Patrick took a great deal of time and inspected the stucco and the quality of the previous repair. He advised that the stucco is in good shape and suggested other problems which might be the problem. So honest and transparent. He was awesome. I would trust him doing similar work.

Taylor came out to inspect my stucco chimney. After discussing with chimney experts, the source of the leak was likely coming from cracks in the stucco, so I called Taylor Stucco. Obviously, I am not going up to my roof to inspect the chimney, so for all I know he could have said the entire stucco needed to be replaced. Instead, he offered his honest advice and suggested the the cause of the leak is likely caused by cracks that can most likely be sealed by a painter. I will go the painter route first, but if that does not solve the issue, he will be my next call. At any rate, I wanted to leave a review because it is rare to get honest advice these days.

We have a stucco home in need of a lot of repairs. Some holes from woodpeckers, nail pops, and water penetration problems, etc. I looked on Angie's List and found highly recommended Taylor Stucco . Patrick worked with us to set up a time to check out our problems. He gave us several options, but we were not ready to start the work then because we were waiting to have some other repairs lined up. Again he worked with us to figure out the best time to do the work. His estimate was very reasonable for the type of detail work he does. He had to remove deck boards and steps, screens and stucco in order to install deck flashing to prevent water from entering basement every time it rained. After installing the flashing he then had to re-stucco the area. He usually puts a stucco "band" to cover the patch but I just didn't think I would like it, so he had to work a lot harder to blend in the old with new. Further complicating the issue was our unusual stucco texture. I was fully prepared to have him put the band on if it didn't look good. I wish I had pictures - I truly was amazed at how good it turned out. Did I mention I am very particular? I have sort of gotten used to settling for just acceptable. It was refreshing to see someone that really knows what they are doing and does it well. Patrick is knowledgeable in many home repair areas and he is an exemplary stucco repair craftsman. He will be our go-to-man for all future stucco repairs.

We have used Patrick before and once again he did a magnificent job! Once our handyman had removed our jacuzzi, rebuilt the platform and put new railings up, we needed everything stained and sealed. Patrick told us to wait until all of the leaves were down as our back deck is surrounded by trees. He called us when the timing was right and worked straight through, including a weekend to get the job done quickly. He matched the stain and sealant to our front deck. First he moved all of our furniture. He stained the wooden furniture to match. The last time we had our deck stained, we could still see through some areas. Patrick only uses high quality products and is meticulous. Our entire deck, including the railings, stairs, gazebo, all look brand new. He carefully moved everything back and warned us not to drag anything across the surface for a few days. It has been more than a week and it looks beautiful! I cannot stress enough what a perfectionist he is! If you want a perfect job, he is your man! He is knowledgable, artistic and an expert in his execution. Our home has never looked better! Patrick came out and gave me an unbelievable estimate. Said I didn't need to do anything about an issue I thought was a problem. How's THAT for honesty. Great guy.

Patrick was very responsive and worked my small project into his schedule which was very much appreciated as I had another stucco contractor indicate the project was too small for them. Patrick was very thoughtful and explained his approach to the repair and the likely outcome before he got started. He also was upfront with pricing/quoting before starting the project which I thought was fair for the time necessary to get the job done right. Patrick seems like he really enjoys his craft and takes pride in it. The outcome was excellent and I would definitely work with Patrick in the future on my stucco needs.

Patrick is an artist. He discussed various options with us along the way. At one point, he thought it would look better using an accent color on the entire top of our front deck pedestals. He said that if we don?t like it, he?ll change it back to the original color. That seemed like a reasonable option to us. After he did it, we all agreed that we liked it better in the original color so he agreed and happily redid it. We had a party with 70 people after Patrick had painted the front of our house. In spite of days of rain, he promised us that he would have the front completed, which he certainly did! He also completed the back of the home in the same time frame. A number of people remarked at how wonderful our house looked. Patrick used the highest quality specialty paint/sealant and did an immaculate job with all of the trim. Our house, now 45 years old, has never looked better! We highly recommend Patrick Taylor as an expert in stucco repair, installation and maintenance. He did an amazing job for us and our home!

We were very impressed with his vast knowledge on the proper painting products to use. He has been in the business for a long time, and he has seen it all. Patrick KNOWS stucco, He did not try to pressure us or sell us. He is a very sincere and honest man. We can understand why other members give him such a high review. Patrick deserves it!!!!

Patrick was punctual, professional and extremely knowledgeable. From initial project estimation to on-time completion, Mr. Taylor managed the timeline, expectations, project and communications flawlessly. Absolutely no cutting corners on this project. Several competitors estimates really amounted to little more than temporary patch jobs vs. proper permanent repair/restoration. Project Pricing was very competitive. Patrick even performed some additional 'value added' minor repairs while up on the ladders for no additional charge. Very pleased with the process and results. Stucco trim looks better now than it did when the home was built in 2002. Thank you Taylor Stucco.

Patrick Taylor is a professional in every way. He did an excellent job, was on time and thorough with his analysis, and the work he completed looks excellent.

Patrick is the man for the job if you want it done right and on time. Patrick refinished the old masonary exterior on our 1940's house. Before he worked on the home you could see old patches and inconsistent finishes from years of bad patch jobs and wear and tear. After the work was completed the exterior looked like new. Patrick was a good communicator regarding budget, timing and cost. He would always keep us updated as the next steps and when he would be there to work. We did run into one snag when the forces of mother nature sent a huge storm our way the day the work was completed. One side of the house was not completely dry and the rain was so intense it flooded over the gutters and washed away some of the texture and color. We called Patrick the next morning, told him what happened and he came right over. We thought it might be a patch job to fix what had been damaged. To ensure the quality of the job Patrick informed us he really needed to redo the entire process for that side of the house. He could have patched it and gone the cheaper and easier route but he did not. He worked another few days making the job right and did not charge us anymore than his original quote. He is a craftsmen, with fine attention to detail. I highly recommended Taylor Stucco, could not be more pleased with his work ethics.

We are refinishing the basement and noticed a small water leak coming down the wall during a rainstorm. I called Taylor Stucco and they came out the next day, found the hair line crack in the stucco on the first floor then caulked it. This fixed the problem and I would certainly call them again! It took less than 10 minutes and he did not charge us. I also learned how to tell the difference between hard coat stucco houses and synthetics. I always wondered. Thanks Taylor Stucco.

Patrick just completed a huge stucco sealing job on our 3,600 sq. ft. hardcoat stucco house. He caulked all of the joints, made a clean cut of the stucco in areas where it was nearly contacting the ground or did not have a smooth edge, made minor repairs to the existing stucco, added kickout flashing so that rain would not get between the gutter ends and the stucco, and sealed all of the stucco with elastomeric paint. He did all of the work himself; it took about a month. His bid was consistent with other bids we received. Patrick's work ethic is excellent.. He put in long days, sometimes six days a week. The results were excellent, and for the first time I don't believe we will cringe every time it rains. He also did extra touches such as checking and sealing our chimney cap. We recommend him highly.

,Several years ago (1998) I had cut the stucco to get it above the ground and sealed it with caulk in order to pass the termite inspection. Patrick re-cut what had done and sealed it with a base coat, fiberglass mesh and a finish coat. He spent more time than he estimated to get it just right. I felt bad about the extra time that it took and gave him a tip. He also gave me several recommendations on stucco to window caulking materials and more. He also patched the bird holes and put up a wood-p***** deterrent. Great job!

Patrick was amazing from start to finish. We had quotes from a number of stucco companies after we discovered that we had to redo the stucco band around our front deck. This is obviously very important as it is the first thing one sees as one approaches our front door. Patrick walked us around our home and calmly discussed all of our stucco issues. It was clear that he is an expert. He gave us reasonable explanations and solutions for everything. His quote was the most detailed and the most reasonable. We felt great confidence in Patrick from the beginning. First, he created a new band of stucco around our front deck. He explained his approach and we discussed paint colors. Not only did he do an amazing job, but it is more attractive now than before. We didn't expect that from a repair. Then he dealt with all the other stucco problems. We have had other repairs done before. None ever looked like this! Patrick made the repairs literally disappear. He is a master. We love our house but it is definitely a challenge. Patrick is an artist with an incredible work ethic. We knew that he cared about our home as much as we do. Patrick communicates well. We always knew when to expect him. He works quietly all day, answers any of our questions with a smile and completes all of the work on time, rain or shine. If you love your home, Patrick is your man. We look forward to having him paint our entire home in the near future. We know that his attention to detail and his knowledge of stucco is unsurpassed. Everything went perfect other than just having to reschedule due to weather - Patrick is good, but I'm afraid he can't change the weather! Patrick was early, evaluated all the problem areas and went to work. He even found a few additional issues along the way and took care of them, too. Saying - well, I was there and it was a quick fix! I've dealt with plenty of contractors in the past that would nickel and dime you by finding additional issues and make more money off you - Patrick just fixed them. I was impressed with his knowledge and the time he spent explaining his process to me. I really felt like I got my money's worth and then some. He even gave me some recommendations for some other work that I'm going to have done at the house (by a different contractor). Very good guy, good at what he does and I'll definitely be calling him for any issues I have in the future!

Patrick was by far the most comprehensive and reasonable priced of all of them. He did an EXCELLENT job and I would recommend him to everyone I know. Some of the others were ridiculous , clearly did not want such a small job and tried to turn it into a BIG JOB! I spoke with Patrick about their comments and he assured me those repairs were not necessary. We really appreciated not only his professionalism but also his honesty. We will use Patrick every time we need anything done with our stucco.

We have used many contractors for different things over the years and Patrick was absolutely one of the best. His attention to quality is unsurpassed. He takes significant pride in his work and it shows. He is an extremely hard worker and always on time. I highly recommend Patrick. He will be the only person that we ever use to help maintain our stucco home. You would be foolish not to work with Patrick.

They did an excellent job, and at a reasonable price

My house looks new!! The week that the job was finished, several of my neighbors flagged me down to tell me how great the house looks! Patrick and his crew did such a great job--he is a master craftsman with an amazing eye for color and an impressive work ethic--he really took the time to get things done well. i've meant to write this review for a long time, and I am grateful every time I come home for how beautiful my home looks!

It was easy, the price was reasonable and we were very pleased with the results. I called him since we were putting our house up for sale. He planned to come Thursday. We were no longer living there and I had to come over after I picked up my son, but he still came and fixed it never meeting me. I arrived and he had finished and patched 2 holes. You could NEVER tell that they were there prior. Also, he matched it perfectly. It was an older home too and he was able to match the paint and the texture. He is a very nice guy and VERY trustworthy. We now live in a house that has stucco as well and he will be our go to for sure!!!!

Patrick Taylor appears to be a shy man. He doesn't make frequent eye contact and has unruly hair, which can on first appearance and meeting be off putting. But let me tell you something...the man knows his business! He was calm and pleasant during every encounter. He assessed and explained the condition of the wood and stucco, suggested options with potential for lasting quality of each suggestion, and performed the work agreed to with efficiency and professionalism. The work took 2 days, allowing for drying and curing, before painting. We have a metal awning over a large, bump out window, common to most townhouse units on our street. When the wood trim was painted a few years ago, the painters mistakenly used the off white paint for the wood trim on the faded black awning and had to remove it. They left the metal raw. It corroded and drips down the stucco made a stain that would not remove with pressure washing. I'm not sure how Mr. Taylor got the stain off, but he did before painting, and it looks great - especially compared to our neighbors - and the HOA is pleased with the results. Prior renovators used our brick floored entryway to cut tile and left a white stain on it, said they tried, but couldn't remove. Plus since the brick entryway doesn't get sunlight, when rain blows in or gets wet - as it did with their wet tile cutter - the water stands and green mold grows on the bricks. Well, guess what... Mr. Taylor gave me some stuff to use myself, which he keeps on hand, and I got it off per his instructions...at no charge. He was very informative and helpful. Nice man, with good helper. Highly recommend him.
