Description of Work: Patrick came to our home and gave us an estimate on cutting back the lower 8"-12" of synthetic stucco in a 20' area in the back of our home. He did a great job under frigid conditions and also sealed the windows and outdoor lights in that area which had never been done. Very pleased.

Description of Work: I am a first time user of Angie's List. The reviews provided on Taylor Stucco were very accurate when compared to the contractor's performance.. Taylor Stucco came highly rated on Angie's and for good reason. I found the owner / operator very knowledgeable of stucco repair. He gave me an reasonable assessment of my stucco problem. He explained it to me in laymen's terms We agreed on a price, start date and estimated completion date. The final outcome of the job was outstanding. What impressed me most about Taylor was his desire to meet my satisfaction and most importantly my wife's satisfaction in completing the job. The big hurdle we faced was matching the colors. Taylor tested, retested, tried, and retried several colors until he found the color that we were satisfied with. My wife was impressed that the work area was spotless after the job was completed and that he made the extra effort of placing pine straw in the area to enhance the aesthetics. I was kept informed of the work and made aware of any changes to any plans.

Description of Work: I called Patrick a few days ago as I had a water leak in my attic, and I thought it had something to do with the stucco. He told me that he would call me and set up a time to come out, as I had company at the time. He called me Saturday and said that he was nearby and would it be okay for him to come over. He climbed up to the attic window, and checked all around to see if he could see where the water might be coming in. He found several places where the caulking was missing and had broken down in several other places. He caulked and sealed what he thought might be the problem and said to keep checking when it rained and to let him know. I was very impressed with Patrick, he really seemed to know his stucco, and also was up on the ladder while it was raining. I would have Patrick do any stucco work. He is a very nice person who will do a good job for you. I might add that I also used Patrick last summer to redo my wrought iron railing on the back patio and front railings. He sanded and repainted the railing and did a great job. His price was reasonable and he cleaned up after he finished for the day. He stayed on the job all day. Since that time, I have had many compliments on the work that was done.

Description of Work: Hired Taylor to do some repair work on my chimney. they advised, contrary to several other companies that my stucco did not need to be repaired, but potentiall some roof and chimney cap work may be needed. They spent several hours constructing scaffolding but couldnt reach the required area of the chimney and after closer inspectionadvised that the roof work would not need to be done. Turns out they were correct and they didn't charge anything for their efforts.

Description of Work: Stucco cut on one side of the house due to failure at ground level. Patrick and a co-worker also went beyond the agreed work required and patched and painted a few other trouble spots on other side of my house which was much appreciated.

Description of Work: There was no need to have any service performed. I thought I had a moisture wicking issue with the dryvit on my rental house. I called Patrick with Taylor Stucco to get an estimate for repair of the problem. Patrick met me at the Marietta property and after careful examination of the dryvit, told me there was not a moisture problem. He was very informative about the product used on my house and I was appreciative that he drove out to Marietta to meet with me. I previously met with another reputable, Angies List, stucco company and they quoted $3800.00 to make repairs to this house. If I ever need someone to work on dryvit or stucco I will call Patrick from Taylor Stucco.

Description of Work: Our house looks brand new! Patrick Taylor and Taylor Stucco exceeded our expectations. As he made his inspection, Patrick discovered potential problems other companies had not. Patrick was great about keeping us informed. Our house had a major issue of wood rot and Patrick offered a number of creative, effective and cost saving solutions when dealing with the rotted wood. When one large window frame was found to be rotted, Patrick offered up a plan allowing me to save the window and my budget. Patrick's creativity evident again when he came up with a metal cap to cover our window sills protecting them from further exposure to the elements. If there is such a thing as stucco "plastic surgery," Patrick did it. All of the repaired areas look like the original stucco. Patrick patched the woodpecker holes, cut and sealed the stucco above grade, cut expansion joints around the windows and doors, and re-cut and sealed the stucco where the chimney meets the roof. Description of Work: Patrick repaired and painted several places where our stucco had cracks and missing topcoat (from a prior window repair by another contractor). He fixed it quickly and matched the stucco so you can not tell it was repaired. Great job at a fair price.

Description of Work: Taylor Stucco did an excellent job making repairs to my home's stucco. He even matched the pattern perfectly, which I wasn't expecting from a repair, and he patched perfectly where a light fixture had been. He arrived as promised and met his estimate. Not only would I recommend him on Angie's List, I am adding him to our neighborhood referral list.

Description of Work: Cut out large section of wall that had cracked and buckled. Replaced backing and stuccoed over to blend with the rest of the wall.

Description of Work: Mr. Taylor replaced the rotted wood casing above one garage door. My hard-coat stucco had bowed out between garage door frames and cracked due to settling. He patched two areas of stucco which needed repair next to these doors. It looks very nice now.

Description of Work: Very knowledgeable and professional. Price was exactly the amount of the estimate but the most important thing was matching the color of the repair to the existing stucco was just dead on perfect. Good job, Patrick.
