Seagraves Plumbing Septic and Sewer

They had to dig through a few big tree roots to access my plumbing and run a new line from the meter at the street all the way to my house. They also recommended that I take down the tree as it would only cause further problems.

I have used Seagraves for 12 years to pump my two septic systems. They are expensive, but they always get the job done, arrive on time and I've even been working with the same crew over those 12 years, which obviously says alot about the company. This year, I used them to pum one field and that went fine. They also repaired a "containment box" and line on another field that had apparently been damaged during some rennovation work we had done. This too was very expensive but they got it done, tried hard to tear up as little concrete and sod as possible and things now work well. You get what you pay for (but it still hurts!)

First of all let start out by saying, at the time of this review, I had just had a pretty major surgery. Needless to say that I was feeling pretty helpless. I called Seagraves and he said he had one promised call to answer and I'd be next. I think he may have been the owner. Maybe Mike Seagraves? Mike showed up with one helper. F.Y.I. I had a similar problem like this a few years back. The company I used at that time assumed that the downstairs half bath toilet was to be used as a clean out. I guess since it was the lowest point in the house, and that I was in a two story on a slab. I don't know. I also think they thought the sewer line ran out under my driveway to the street. 1. Mr. Seagraves started out be putting together a Wet Vac that I had just purchased. I was too week from my surgery to even do this. 2. He reset the downstairs toilet. i.e. cleaned it using the wet vac. The downstairs toilet was the point where the backup showed up. Need I say more? 3. He located my outside clean out using , using camera. A.K.A. sonar contraption. Sonar contraption are my words. He called it a camera. 4. He used the camera in conjunction with 50 feet of snake to locate blockage. By doing this he also was able to determine the direction of the sewer line, and where it made its way to the street. The blockage was near the street and was 12 feet down. F.Y.I. the sewer line did not run under the driveway. 5. He used two different heads on the snake to break through the roots. For a minute I didn't think he was going to be able to get through. He did all of this for $450.00. I find this be be very reasonable. Not to mention I now know all of the information pertaining to my sewer line after it leaves the house. I even have a clean out. That's something a previous plumber couldn't tell me.The bottom line is Mr. Seagraves knows what he's doing and his rates are reasonable. I can't ask for any more than that.

Seagraves came in and asked what I wanted to have fixed. After looking at both problems the plumber suggested he could make me a deal on replacing the garbage disposer and fixing the upstairs problem. He quoted what I felt to be a fair price and I told him to go ahead. He, and his helper, had the job done in short order with no problems. I felt he did a good job and I got a good deal. I will use them again.

I was quoted a price of $195, because the going rate I researched was 180-195, so I decided to go with them because of the high ratings on Angie's List. I received a bill for $495. I called and was told I misunderstood. I wouldn't have gone with them if it was $495 when I had other estimates for less.

They were honest. I had another plumber come out and they estimated $50,000 for the work. I got a second opinion and Seagraves said there was nothing wrong with anything. Everything was perfect with them. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Their price was very fair. I would definitely use them in the future.

They were careful to not disrupt nearby landscaping when digging for teh tank cover. Professional and courteous

I was really satisfied with the way they handled the job. Initially, Mr. Seagraves, the owner of the company, came out to survey the situation and he was able to unclog the drain that same day. He arranged to have a crew come out and do the repair on the main drain line that was corroded. They called me promptly and scheduled the return trip and they came out on time and completed it in a timely manner and for what I thought was a reasonable price. They were very professional and very courteous throughout the entire process.

I have used them for years. I like them. I would always rate them highly. They are always my regular plumbers and they have installed hot water heaters and fixed drains and they always do a great job. They are on time, reliable, courteous and do what they say they are going to do. I don’t remember the price but it was reasonable because I got a couple of estimates on that. I would continue to use them in the future.

I love them. They are a great company. I have used them for years. They are always courteous, on time, and knowledgeable. They come to your house, and I believe they charge by the hour. If they only come for 15 minutes, they charge for an hour. However, they also ask what else they can do to fill up the time. They are well-dressed. I can't say enough good things about them. I really appreciated their service. It's a quality experience; they are well worth what they charge.

The workers were prompt, courteous and efficient. They had my leaky line fixed within 20 minutes and since I had an hour of service due they asked if I had any other issues that needed looking at. I was having a problem with my toilet running and they were able to fix the problem and did not make a mess. I was very impressed and would use them again.

It went well. They were in and out in a matter of hours, and the yard isn't too torn up.

Had had the root problem several years before, paid RotoRooter something like $600. Seagraves' estimate and then final price were better. Service was friendly, on-time, efficient. A couple of days later, I had the outside spigot issue. Called to make appt, the guys came out and fixed the spigot quickly, asked if there was anything else I needed done since i was paying for the whole hour. I had a loose drain cap which they promptly fixed. Overall, it was a positive experience.

It went well, Mike was a great help with the entire process.

I recently moved into a new house and the previous owners had used Seagraves during the closing process. I called about the service and asked questions about what they found. This company was more than happy to help me out. I was impressed and will think of them for future service.

They have done work for me since I have lived in Atlanta. I like them because they are good and their price is reasonable. I would recommend them. They are prompt and nice. They are good. They come out here in a timely manner. They do the work and leave, which is perfect for me. They have been my plumbers for years and I would use their services in the future too.

Excellent ... Seagraves are pros ... their price was in-line with my other quotes. Were also more creative with their solution ... used underground directional boring which limited impact on trees and my neighbor's driveway. Chuck came out to my house 3 or 4 different times to scope out the work, meet with the county sewer people, etc. The guys actually doing the work were professional, courteous and finished on time. Highly recommended.

Good they were in and out and cleaned the 2 clogged shower drain lines in less than 30 min.

While edging around a flower bed I discovered a large sink hole above the area of the septic tank. I called Seagraves and they had someone out the next day to pump the tank. It had not been pumped in 32 years. A crew arrived several days later to dig around the end of the tank where the distribution box is located. Chuck Seagraves was familiar with the type of installations in our area and diagnosed the problem before even digging. They discovered a collapsed concrete distribution box. I was phoned at my office to tell me when I could view the repairs before they covered the pipes.

I called them & got a set price of $475 over the phone if they can dig with shovels to get to the underground tank. If they had to bring in a backhoe, extra equipment, etc., the price would go up-depending on what was needed to get access to the tank. I scheduled an appt. for after 2:30pm the following Monday, they arrived at 3pm, found the tank with shovels, pumped the tank and replaced the dirt. The 2 workmen were very efficient, had no problem locating the tank, etc., and were able to answer most of my questions. The whole process took under an hour. The only issue was that in order to be able to pay by credit card, they had to write down my credit card number, exp. date AND the card's security code on a pad of multi-copied forms this made me a little nervous about the card's security. In the past, other workmen had a portable device or cell phone to call in this information directly. Next time I will pay them by check.

Out of all of the people that I talked to, they had the best price. I was very pleased with the service and they were professional as well. They have a great staff that is available for any questions and the detail in their work is phenomenal. They are awesome to do business with.

We have had this company out a few times in the last year. I feel they are a little high on the price but they do a very good job. They arrive on time, stick to their estimate and are professional with the work they do in my home. I would refer them to others.

I was satisfied with the job performance of Seagraves and would use them again in the future. I definitely would recommend them to others. The price was a little steep and caught me off guard though.

We had this problem on the weekend and called, not expecting to actually get the owner himself on the phone. The man was really nice and had a plumber come out that day to take care of the situation. We were charged only a service call and really appreciated the professionalism and dedication of this company. We only use their services now and highly recommend them.
