this is the first time I have ever gotten quotes for drywall work. I was asked for pictures, but I don't think they really show the magnitude of work that needs to be done.

A tree limb fell and broke our fence. He came the day after I called. You can't tell it has been repaired, but it is definitely more sturdy than the rest of the fence!

He was prompt, professional and did exactly what we wanted. We will hire him again.

I am so relieved to have found Mike through Angie's List. I live out of state and own/manage two rental properties in Atlanta and have only dealt with Mike through text and email. I have found him to be prompt and clear in all communications and quick and effective at getting work done. My tenant is comfortable having him work in her home and agrees he's honest and does quality work. Bonus, he invoices and accepts payment online which is so much easier for record keeping. I have another property becoming vacant soon and plan to hire him for whatever needs to be done to prepare for a new tenant.

It is tough to find someone who will pay attention to the small job as if it were a big one... Great communication, friendly, punctual...could not ask for more.

Responded quickly to my inquiries, provided up front pricing, arrived on time, was very honest about a couple of projects that he said did not need to be fixed, very efficient and very pleasant.

Ordered it on Amazon and it came the next day. Scheduled an appt within a day and the handyman was simply awesome. he took his times since the screws on the old one had been stripped. Will recommend with no hesitation (sorry forgot his name...)

Mike was excellent! I called Mike to see if he could help with a somewhat unconventional repair. To make matters worse, I was only going to be in town for a day or two, so the job was on incredibly short notice. Mike very promptly returned my call, came out almost immediately to look at the project scope, gave me a fair quote, and had the project completed the next day. He was courteous, professional, and honest. I highly recommend him!

Matt is very responsive and does an excellent job. He is extremely professional and is thorough. We trust him to do all handyman jobs at our home. We would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a job done. Although we have only used him for smaller jobs around our home I would consider using him for larger jobs as well.

Mike at RetroFix is an extremely nice, friendly guy and a pleasure to work with. This is definitely a quality you want in any service man you're going to have in your home. He gave me an actual time he would arrive, rather than a time window, which was very helpful. He did end up having to come a half hour later than expected, but he texted me early that morning letting me know, so that was fine with me. Regarding the work -- from the research I have done, recaulking a shower means that you will not be able to use it for at least 24 hours. Mike used a caulk product that allowed us to be back in our shower that same night, and he even said it's the product he used in his own home. He also did a thick layer to ensure that this would last much longer than the old caulk did, which was very thin. It's very smooth and the shower looks beautiful. I will definitely hire Mike again for future handyman projects!

First off, I rarely write a review from my contractors, but I was pleasantly surprised from the service provided by Mike and I think you should know the service provided. I had Mike make adjustments to 4 doors (that didn't latch correctly), weathered proofed my front door and fix a granite counter top that was sagging. The biggest issue in my mind was the sagging countertop that was very poorly installed. Mike was able to determine quickly the best way to correct the issue, which I am happy to say it looks great. This fix saved me from replacing the countertop, which could have cost me thousands of dollars and he honored his quoted price! I would recommend Mike to my family and friends if they needed normal fixes or something out of the ordinary. Give him a try you will be pleasantly surprised and the results will speak for themselves!

Overall, great. Did a nice of job cleaning up debris inside but did leave some outside but was willing to come back and take care of it. I will certainly use him again.

Mike's communication was great as well the quality of the work. I am a happy customer. He repaired the risers on my porch steps and painted them as well as repairing some trim. He was very friendly, professional, and I would definitely use him again for other things.

He was fabulous. Turned up on time, every time. Gave a very reasonable quote, which ended up being the price we paid, despite there being a few hitches along the way. Explained what he was going to do, then did it, and was so neat and tidy while doing so that it was hard to believe there was construction going on. After the bathroom was complete, he came back and installed a new oven for me too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mike, and will definitely be using him again.

Originally I had asked for a wall box, but because of the way the house is built and also that there was already a hole in the floor that was found when he removed the baseboard, we didn't do that. The filler that had been put in before was removed and he ended up running the cable back under the house to this previously drilled hole to connect up to my cable box and so on. What ended up taking a while was sorting out all the debris left under there by Comcast and DirecTV. In addition to handling the underhouse shenanigans with humor, Mike also put up with my overly-friendly cat and was extremely personable and patient. I've already recommended him to someone in my office today.

I've had Mike come by twice and both have resulted in utter delight. He's prompt, thorough and detail oriented. I've approached him with unrealistic deadlines for timing and he's managed to squeeze me into his busy schedule which I'm extremely grateful for. I look forward to using him again in the future.
