I gave this company an F rating on April 14, 2011 (see report) based on their complete lack of responsiveness. Lo and behold, I got a call from Mr. Sisson the next day; after giving me his list of excuses he scheduled my work for April 26th. The painters arrived on a timely basis and finished the job at no additional charge to me, even though the coupon I had was for 2 men for 3 hours. They were cheerful and efficient and I would certainly welcome them back into my home for additional work but it frankly doesn't seem worth the hassle we went through. From the time i initially contacted the company it was 2 1/2 months until the job was done. I would give the painters an A rating and the management an F, which is a C rating overall.

They did a really good job. I was pleased with everything.

Pride Residential Services LLC Company had a coupon offer for the miscellaneous services they performed for us. So we didn’t have to pay the extra hours that they spent working. The workers who came out were very nice. They were very pleasant. My overall experience with them was excellent. They did a very good job. They weren’t on time but they informed us that they were going to be late. I would use them again in the future.

My overall experience was great. Both guys they sent were courteous, on time, worked efficiently and left their work area clean.

Mr. Sisson arrived on a timely basis and looked at the room and said he could probably schedule it for the following week. Five weeks later, having heard nothing, I sent him an email. Six days after that he replied, saying he would call me the following day to schedule. One week later I sent a second email and got no reply. A week after that I called and left a phone message (the recording, by the way, says he will return the call within 2 hours). It has now been 24 hours with no response. It has now been 2 months since he came out; I would certainly have contacted another painter by now except that this company already has my money. One of my emails stated that if he didn't want to do the work he could refund my money and that would he please let me know. No response to anything! I intend to file a complaint through Angie's List if I don't hear anything by the first of next week.

The cost was unusually low because of an Angie's List coupon, but even at their normal prices, the repair cost less than half of a quote I had from someone who had done a good deal of work in my area. Pride came, two workers fixed several things beyond my expectations, and the charges were reasonable. The workmen were friendly and very helpful, obviously taking pride in their work. I will use them again, and highly recommend them.

OMG, this was the BEST experience I have EVER had with a handyman. And not just because it was so cheap (I took advantage of the "big deal" and only paid $89 for 6 hours of Handyman work. I have never been so pleased. Their work was impeccable, they were professional, pleasant, polite, detailed, knowledgeable. I cant say enough good things about them. First of all, soon after I bought the deal, Mike Sisson called to schedule a pre-assessment. Unlike those crappy deals you get on Groupon, this guy called me. Very impressive. He came in -- and asked for my list of stuff. I had no idea how to judge such timing of things - but my biggest issue was to replace the faucet in the 1/2 bath and lighting. I asked for Replace faucet Replace vanity light Replace TP holder Replace vanity light in upstairs bath Mike asked me - ok, what else? I was stunned. He could have very easily said ok -- and got his guys out of here and moved on. But he didnt. (Impressed again). That says a lot about the integrity of the company. He asked me if I'm sure and to think about it. I thought of some more things and called him -- he said sure. We set a date and I looked forward to it. Unfortunately, he put the date he promised me at a later time on his calendar, so it didnt work out (I gotta tell ya I was starting to feel uneasy ...thinking, maybe I'd have a hard time scheduling him. Nope.He was extremely apologetic and it actually worked out for me because my delivery of one of the chandeliers was late. They came today. They were here a few min early than the scheduled time. They walked in, introduced themseleves and got a preview of what all needed to be done. I of course had added more (just in case) They ended up doing the following: Replace faucet Replace vanity light Replace TP holder Replace towel bar Replace vanity light in upstairs bath Replace towel bar Install curved shower rod Replace Dining Chandelier Replace Foyer Chandelier That is a LOT for $89!! They got it all done, cleaned up afterwards, kept apprised of everything ...and gave me advice on my light bulbs for the chandelier. I feel like I have an almost new home. I am so impressed, so grateful to Bob and Raymond and to Angies List for offering this ASTOUNDING experience. I am delighted with my home. I am asking them back in June for part 2. These are now my regular guys. Do yourself a favor and hire them. You will be GLAD you did. Their rates are awesome!!!

Extremely courteous, efficient, and detail oriented, the owner of the business, Michael S. came out first to look over my list of "to do" items and see the job first hand. He selected the 2 handymen who best fit the job. The "Handymen" came on their appointed date, within 10 -15 minutes, to fulfill their obligation and gave me my full time allotted. They were very efficient, working non-stop for 3 hours, and fulfilled their job precisely. My eye for detail was following each one of them. I was very pleased by their abilities and efficiency.The "House Whisperer" was "right on" with his analysis of my problematic tasks. I do not allow unscrupulous, imbalanced people into my home, and I would recommend them highly to anyone. They made a great team! Bravo Pride Residential Services, Bravo! Cynthia M. I use them exclusively as my contractor. They are professional and do amazing work.

I had a "punch" list that needed to be completed for the relo-inspectors. This included general contracting/handyman work, plumbing and electrical repair. Michael came out and reviewed the list - and said that he had a guy that could do it all - Philip. Plilip is like a "house whisperer" there was NOTHING he could not fix. He came right in and started quoting the "codes" that we had to obide by and what was not necessary to fix. Philip spent 2 1/2 days here and worked non-stop. No foolling around, no breaks he was really working to help me get my monies worth. I would recommend Pride Residential Services to anyone - in fact I already gave my sister-in-law their number!

They were very responsive and accommodating. We will continue to use them.

Overall, this was a wonderful experience, especially given my previous one. Previously I had allowed a former contractor to drag out their work to unspeakable lengths. They managed to drag it out long enough that when they left town, they had not finished the work and worse, had left multiple parts of the project in varying degrees of completeness. One of my bigger worries was finding someone willing to essentially clean up someone else's mess without having to start over on things that I had already paid for. After requesting quotes from 10+ contractors, my fears were realized when only a few were willing to respond and give me quotes. PRS, by the way, was out to give me a quote within a day or two. Their quote also seemed reasonable, around what I was expecting, and was about half of the closest other quote I received for the exact same work. It did take PRS a couple of weeks to work me into their schedule, but I was assured that was simply so that they could insure they could show up, do their work, and get out without dragging things out. Almost to my amazement, that is *exactly* what happened. They showed up during the day when they told me they were going to and all-in-all - including having to order things for the door that I threw at them at the last minute - they were done in less than a week. Aside from having all of the work finished on schedule and completely to my satisfaction, everyone from PRS that I interacted with was very friendly, open to what I wanted, and then also thorough in explaining why some crackpot thought I had maybe wasn't so great.

I would never use them again for any painting project. Michael did offer to have the painting fixed but I chose to not have them back. It was messy, short cutted and after finding razor blades tossed in the bushes I was over it. I understand the this is a new company but others have a right to know my experience. PRIDE Residential Services was responsive to my need to get an inspection of my roof to identify the cause of the minor leak in my roof (slight water damage in dining room ceiling). It was difficult to find someone that would come identify and repair minor issues with a roof. Most roofing companies don't want to bother with minor repair work and smaller companies or individuals don't have the experience or track record with roofing work. I selected PRIDE between 2 handyman services that both had good reviews and recommendations. PRIDE was more responsive to getting me scheduled for service in a reasonable period of time. They were able to come to my home and provide an inspection within a week. There inspection concluded that the plumbing boots around my ventilation pipes were cracking and needed to be replaced. The house is six years old so I agreed that the 4 plumbing boots should probably be replaced vs. just re-sealing them with caulking. The roofer with PRIDE Residential Services could complete the work the same day after going to store to get the boots. I agreed with the owner (Michael Sisson) of PRIDE Residential Services on a price with 10% Angie's List discount on all labor. He explained that they did not include the discount as they did not charge a mark-up on materials. The estimate ($65 per boot) for the work was high but I believed the discount, the quality of work (reviews), and professionalism would be worth the money. I also did not have a lot of options. Their amount was cheaper then a roofer and they were the most flexible of the highly rated contractors. The roofer was able to complete the work in slightly over a half-day's time without me being onsite. The boots that were replaced were left for my inspection at the completion of the work. The new boots appear to be installed good and I have seen no additional water damage to the ceiling my dining room. At this point the repairs seem to be successful, which is the positive part of this experience. The negative part is the pricing and PRIDE Residential Services manner of being fair and honest about their pricing. PRIDE Residential Services stated to me that they charged 0% mark-up on their materials purchased. I was charged $80 for 4 plumbing boots and caulking used for the replacement of those boots around my 4 ventilation pipes. Plumbing boots at a general home repair store sell for between $5 to $7. I asked for an itemized breakdown of the materials purchased but none was provided. The owner stated that this was a new contractor for the company and that he did not provide a receipt for his materials purchased. The owner promised to gather further information on the cost of the material purchased but never followed-up with an answer. I am unsatisfied with their pricing and service. I would possibly consider using PRIDE Residential Services again, but only if materials costs were detailed out in the quote and/or receipts and justification provided at the completion.

This is a complete home services offering everything you need from monthly maintenance to home repairs, remodeling and landscaping. I deal with one person for all my needs and once I have approved the quote they send the staff to do the job. I was extremely pleased with the amount of tasks included in this monthly cost. And I am very happy the monthly cleaning and the bi-monthly yard maintenance I received this month. I currently have a list of things that come with owning a house, but are difficult to get around to completing and I have just accepted a quote on some interior home repair work. So I will post the results once finalized and as the work is completed. I know one thing for sure, so long as Pride Residential Services is here I will come home to a clean house and a well manicured yard.
