It went pretty well. I had a long list of things in priority order that needed to be done. They were very honest about what they could and could not do as related to the deal. There was a little bit of confusion related to the laminate flooring, but they made it right. I would use them again.

Like so many others trying to use Angie's List to leverage this Big Deal, Pride came out and looked at what I wanted done and never came to do the work. I had assumed the company would go out of business or be banned from Angie's List because of the ridiculous problems everyone had. However, seeing how they've moved to another state to rip people off and AL kept prompting for a review, I figured I'd warn people off anew.

He did a great job. Courteous and professional

It was fine. I don’t recall any issues with scheduling and they were friendly and easy to work with.

The two men who came to the house were friendly and polite, and they arrived on time. However, they didn't seem to be very competent or knowledgeable because their work was sloppy, and I'll have to hire someone else to correct their mistakes in the future.

I first called this company two years ago for a simple handyman job of installing shelving and a ceiling fan. I was so impressed with the work, the price and the customer service that I recommended them as a property management company for our condo. We hired them and have been happy with their services for over 2years. They have provided housekeeping services, lawn maintenance, property management services, deck replacement, painting, electrical, plumbing and handyman services for our building and for individuals and we have all be very pleased with the quality of the work and the price. I recommend this company and plan to continue to call on them for handyman and property management services.

Great service! The 2 handymen who worked with me were very helpful. Also very honest --- there was a repair that they could have done and it would have been problematic in a month or two and so they didn't do it --- instead suggesting how to do it better ourselves. Nice people too.

The handyman was courteous and professional. He showed up on time, and was very attentive to what I needed done. After explaining what I wanted done, he told me of how he was going to complete it and made sure I had no concerns on his process. He went to the roof and installed the solar panel well, and not noticable from any angle. he then went in the attic and installed the rest of the system. Till this day after all the rain and snow, I have not seen a leak from the roof because of the way he installed and sealed it. Thank you. I will use again.

I bought their Big Deal; the deal was one handyman for a day. It went fine. Two guys came out here for a couple of hours.

I will use them again in the future.

They were friendly and they answered all my questions. For the shelving they purchased the equipment and brought in the receipt. They told me up front how much it's going to be. Overall they were great and I would definitely use them again.

We ordered an Angie's list special from Pride Residential Services. It included so many hours (8, I think) of handymen services for a set price. After ordering the package, a worker came to my house to take down a detailed list of services that I wanted to have done in the time period. I started with the most important item to me, and worked down in priority. I made clear that the requested list of work to be done was in order of importance. The first item was to replace bulbs in my foyer chandelier and clean it. I had bulbs on hand to use. When the two workmen arrived to complete the work, we reviewed the items to be done in order of importance again. As it turns out they totally ignored my primary requested item and worked on my lower-priority items instead. I should state that I could have done some of these myself, and would rather have had them work on the foyer light. The toilet paper holders were replaced satisfactory. The garage door trim was repaired with wood putty, which turns out was not suitable for outdoor repair. The filler cracked and crumbled out. When we had our house painted the following year, the painters had to remove the patch that Pride workers installed, and redo it with an outdoor material. the caulking in the master shower melted off on the first use after the repair. We had waited the amount of time that the worker told us to wait before using the shower. To their credit, they did come back free of charge and redo the caulking with a different material. A year later, it still needs to be redone, as the caulk is cracking and tearing. It is very disappointing. The drywall repair was done fine, but not sanded and painted, due to the time required for the compound to dry. The workmen were prompt and courteous, but I was not happy with the outcome of the work.

I was not home during the house cleaning, but when I did come home, it was to a house that glowed. Things that my regular housekeeper would never think of cleaning were spotless. The house just smelled clean, not of some sort of odorizer, but because of the lack of any smell (dogs, cat, 15 year old son).

Raymond, the painter in charge was prompt and professional at all times. Job estimate and final costs were not quite "in sync' as the job stretched over a period of 4 weeks and required 4 coats of paint to complete the job - the job was grossly underestimated but the work and final costs were in completed in "good faith". Initial contact and scheduling was a real challenge. Would definitely use again.

They basically told me that they are so far behind because they had to fire their project manager and that they would get to me, but we started May 1, and it's September now and I am still waiting. I am trying to get them to respond and get the job completed, but everytime I call they give me a certain day that they will come out, but they never show up. If I can get them to finish the job then I might consider using them again in the future.

I would not recommend this company given that they can't schedule an appointment for a 3 hour commitment.

Had a super hard time getting these guys scheduled. Seemed like there was always a crisis or problem or something. Owner fairly prompt in responding, but I got v. frustrated with what I felt like might have been the run a round. Overall took 3 weeks to get them started. Might have been the time of year, as many pros I contacted were v. busy. Having said all of the above, once they got there the guys were amazing. The quality of work was superior and I am super picky. There are two guys and they are v. efficient. The only problem with this company is the communication - I even had a hard time paying them and getting my bill settled due to some changes with the work order. Yes, I'd use them again, I just know what I am in for in getting them scheduled. Carol

I was told I had to provide all of the paint, cans, and brushes. I called and asked that and I was never called back.

I called them twice to schedule an appointment for the prepaid work. It only rang to their voicemail and they never called me back. I have since cancelled this prepaid coupon.

They did an excellent job. The gentleman were very professional. They came in a timely manner and did excellent work. I was very pleased.

Where do I start? We hired 2Gays and a Design and ended up with Pride Residential. Designers are not project managers or general contractors and should not pretend to be. They should pick curtains and paint colors and then step away. Two weeks in to the project, the contractor that was working for Pride and knew which end of a screw driver to use quit, because of ?funny money? (that is only a rumor). It was down hill from the beginning. We asked for an insurance certificate from the owner Sisson and received a copy, but information was altered. We received an ?estimate? and agreed to payment terms. In the middle of the project they (Sisson and Peters) changed the payment terms and wanted the money immediately and before the work was completed as stated in the agreement. They had already received 50% down + another 25% to cover expenses. The project was supposed to take 4 to 6 weeks and ended up taking 5+ months. Why? Because the parts were not ordered correctly, lead times were not taken in to consideration and work had to be redone repeatedly because of mistakes and sloppiness. In light of that, we asked for a project plan and received an email outlining a week of work. According to Pride, they offer a warranty for the work they do. Try getting that in writing. We also asked for receipts and manufactures? warranty information, which was promised at that start of the project. We never saw any of the paper work. Due to the questionable financial situation, we asked for Lien Waivers before we made a final payment. When confronted with this information, the owner of the company was righteous and indignant. What about the quality of work? Everyday, there was a new mistake. We could count on it. For example, they painted the wall before patching the drywall. When I asked the young man why he was painting a wall that needed to be patched ? he said because they told him to. I have 5 months of this type of example. The project was a $55,000 private residential remodel consisting of flooring, painting, some electrical and light construction. We thought hiring Pride Residential would save us time and money. It did not. We thought we were getting a company with a competent designer, general contractor and project manager. We were wrong. We still had to do our own product research and take days off from our jobs to supervise the work. Pride Residential would be doing a community service to go out of business. Their crowning achievement has been to break a glass pedestal that holds up the dining room table. They did this mid November, we are still waiting for it to be repaired or replaced, it is now February. We have filed a complaint with the BBB. Never again will we use this company or any company that it does business with. We still do not have the glass base for the dining room table repaired or replaced. They have ignored our complaint with the BBB. How do these people stay in business??
