The guys showed up on time - after a very helpful call that they were on the way. They were organized, diligent and friendly. Took great care of my belongings. ASked questions and never made assumptions. Didnt waste time - left the first house and went straight to the new house. Started unloading (and much to my pleasure) started arranging my furniture in the new house. I hate doing that so it was awesome. They wrapped furniture...broke down furniture and rebuilt it when we arrived at the new house...even moved stuff around throughout the house until we had everything in the right place. No griping, no attitudes! Would highly recommend again.

Charley Anderson and his crew Fausto, Lee and Chris were absolutely, 100 percent plus, incredible. I had requested him based on other Angie's List reviews. They accomplished what I had lain awake nights worrying would be impossible: moving an oversized sofa that took 2 hours to deliver years ago down difficult narrow, difficult stairs to get out (I couldn't watch -- no clue how they did it in less than 10 minutes) and into my new place, up three flights of stairs (it wouldn't fit elevator) just as quickly. I had expected the sofa might have to be trashed. Charley assured me not. In addition, Charley fixed a bent leg on the sofa and when reassembling my day bed, did it so it no longer squeaks. I used to move every few years but had been in previous place 27 years. These guys settled me down, calmed my tired nerves and assured me it would be an easy move. It was. A little more than three hours later, we were done, I was in the shower and ready for a nap. These guys were the absolute best I've ever seen across three states and 35 years of moving. While the hourly price might seem high, they finish quickly. My cousin moved the same day with cheaper movers; it took them 10.5 hours. You get what you pay for. I also had to change the moving date several times. The guys in the office were easy and gracious. My goal was to move mid-month when they weren't too busy, which provided the flexibility for changes. I highly recommend them, especially Charley and his crew. In fact, I've told two friends who will be moving to use no one else.

Charlie, Lee, and Fausto had us loaded and unloaded within 2.5 hours. Charlie even pointed out a couple of minor defects in the new place that we had missed on our initial walk-through! They wrapped our couch and love seat and Charlie repaired a problem on the couch (not caused by them) that would have torn up our walls in the new place. These guys are great!

We had a lot of heavy furniture and a piano and the 4-man crew did a great job. I did a walk-though with the leader, Rodney, to show him what needed to be moved and they worked very quickly to get everything wrapped and loaded on the truck in about 2 hours. We had a stop at the storage unit and I was extremely impressed at how efficiently they used the space. They fit more than twice what I expected to be able to put in the 5 x 10 unit. Then we got to the new apartment and they made quick work of unloading. They were all very polite and hard working. Everything got where it was supposed to go and nothing was damaged. I had other estimates that were lower, but Mark the Mover had the best reviews on Angie's List and on other review sites. Plus a co-worker had used them twice and was very happy with them. I feel like we got a good value for our money and I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving in the Atlanta area. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

It went perfect as always. Their crew leader is always very respectful. They’re fast and very gentle with the furniture. I’ve never had a mover not break anything. Two times I’ve used them and they have not broken a thing.

An excellent moving experience. The crew of four movers and supervisor were exceptionally professional in demeanor and appearance. They treated our old home, new home, and household items with care and respect. They were quick but not careless. Only item broken was a coffee mug. And they told us, before we discovered the damage, that they'd dropped the box.

The service, care, concern, cooperation, flexibility.....I could go on-and-on......was outstanding from the first step (estimate) to the final act (pulling away from our new home) and every phase in-.between. We put them through h*** with moving date changes and going back and forth with times and one day then 2 day schedule changes (none were our fault) and they took everything we threw at them in stride........never a word of irritation or frustration. Totally a CAN DO attitude. Throughout my business career we have made no less than 12 corporate moves around the country, all handled by major national moving companies......none ever went this well....FLAWLESS!! Gibson, our main contact; John who assisted and Charlie, the crew supervisor could no be more accommodating.......and then there was the crew.....unbelievable! Can you imagine a pleasant, well groomed, well mannered, happy group of guys that must have said a dozen times "you tell us....we work for you". Very quick to respond to my request for a moving quote. They were slightly higher that the other company we went with.

It's hard to write an adequate review for this company or this excellent moving crew. It will sound way too much like an advertisement. My wife and I have moved at least 11 times and, by a wide margin, this is the best mover and best moving crew we have ever experienced. This move gets 5-star ratings in every category. It will sound far too redundant for me to list every aspect of this move and describe it's degree of excellence. You would be bored before it was all over. I'll just say ... all of these could not have been improved upon: cost, communication, friendliness, professionalism, expertise, experience, carefulness, punctuality, protection of furniture, customer satisfaction (above and beyond), speed of all activities with due care taken (was a per-hour fee move which could not have been done more efficiently and with zero damage. No doubt, I've left out some aspect which is of equal importance to those listed but whatever they are I was more than happy with them. If you can arrange to get the crew of Glenn I. (lead), Christian I., Derreck D., and Marion W., you are sure to be very happy with your move. I'm sure Mark the Mover has many other fine crews (from what I see of their other reviews), but you cannot possibly do better than the crew we got. The dispatcher called us the day before the move to verify we were ready and still wanted to move. The crew called us early in the morning prior to leaving their home base to tell us when they would arrive and to get any special instructions on finding out apartment. They arrived at our apartment exactly as stated and I met them outside to discuss best loading arrangements. They worked non-stop, at no-nonsense speed and teamwork, from arrival through loading at storage facility, and through unloading at our house, and full reassembly and positioning of all items. Arrived at 8am (temperature 18 degrees). Completely done to our full satisfaction by 2pm. Absolutely amazing. Thanks very much, Glenn.

Professional and courthouse crew! The six hour process was almost an all day event and it went as smooth as possible. We highly recommend Charley Anderson (crew leader), and his crew. They all took great care with our things and went the extra mile to ensure safety, protection and satisfaction. We greatly appreciate their services!!

Mark the Mover did a great job from start to finish. The move took about 8.5 hours and they were professional and friendly the entire time. they took good care of our belongings and worked quickly, given the quantity of things we were moving. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Gibson and Donnie were at my door within 30 minutes and had everything completed within the hour. Very conscientious and careful about the equipment, my hardwood floors, and the walls. HIghly recommended!

I called them first about my pending move and spoke to someone in the office giving a date and basic information. No one ever called me back so I used another Angies suggested mover.

Okay, moving is an unnerving experience. In the past 7 years we have moved 6 times so I guess you could say we are professional movers ourselves! We were moving across town no more than 15 minutes away. We moved all our smaller items and boxes prior to our move in date but we did not want to mess with the furniture and big items. Mark the Mover gave us a quote that included 6 movers and 2 trucks. The start to finish of our job was about 3.5 hours. They were fast AND good! Our "new house" is a two story 5,000 square foot 56 year old house with some narrow doorways and a whole bunch of steps. This didn't slow the guys down one little bit. When the team arrived they were extremely courteous and happy.There were no grumpy guys in this group! They started working promptly and did not stop for a minute until the job was finished. We had newly refinished hardwood floors and I was worried about scratching. The moving team addressed this concern and made sure my floors were safe and sound. I appreciated that a great deal. They put all the beds together and were willing to move the boxes we previously moved in to the correct area for us. We had an extremely long dining room table that was complicated to dismantle and set back up in the new house. The team worked without complaining and made sure the table was secure.We have had all kinds of movers in the past. Some I would have been afraid to leave alone for a second and even one that actually packed his eye glasses and had to go through a pile of sealed boxes to find them. Mark The Mover has movers that are tidy, neat in appearance and amiable. I am glad we used them and I would not hesitate to call them in the future.

I was called the day before the move. Ask if there were any changes. Called the day of the move exactly on time. The movers then arrived and the task started. It was a 3 part move: storage then old home then delivered to new home. 1. I was asked great questions, which demonstrated an expert knowledge of their profession. 2. They handled all belongings with care as if each item was very important to each worker. Wrapped and loaded with care. Small things indicate true high standards--Every nick or dent was brought to our attention before it was wrapped. 3. On delivery each item was placed where we wanted it and unwrapped. And with their encouragement rooms were rearrange to meet our needs. 4. Not once was a complaint of any type heard. The team worked well together. They removed all the stress. We were totally relaxed. An indescribable feeling. 5. And things still got better. The final bill was way under estimate and reviewed line by line. I have recommended Mark's to friends and I highly recommend their service to other Angie list members. I am looking forward to my next move. And Mark the Movers will again be my only call. Simply a wonderful organization.

We recently moved into a new home and hired Mark the Mover to do the job and couldn't be happier with the results. Coleman and his crew were on-time, friendly, professional, and fast. We were moving from one two bedroom home to another and everything went very smoothly, and the job was even completed faster than had been estimated. Additionally, Mark the Mover was very accommodating to our needs as we had to re-schedule our move twice due to construction work on our new home not being completed in time, and both times Mark the Mover was extremely helpful. Coleman and his crew of men were nothing but polite, friendly, and extremely professional - they knew exactly what they were doing and made our move so easy. They were very careful with our belongings, wrapping all the valuables and furniture in plastic and drop cloths. When we arrived at our new home, they used drop cloths on our new floors, and set up protectors on the walls as a preventative measure. I would highly recommend this company, and specifically the crew that performed our move.

Coleman and his crew of Marcus, Daniel and Little Mitch were very excellent. They were exceedingly nice and polite and extremely hard working. They never stopped moving fast. They never slowed down. I was very surprised at how fast they were with everything. The crew of Mark the movers were punctual and blindingly fast. Absolute professionalism and great service at a fair price. Every aspect of dealing with the company was extremely professional from the salesperson Andrew, another person I spoke to named Johnny and the dispatcher who called to confirm. I absolutely recommend them highly.

They did a good job. I would recommend them again. They were able to help us out in a short amount time, which was very helpful.

I have not moved yet, will likely call this mover when ready.

I just attempted to call Mark the Mover and there was no answer after about 30 rings on the 404 number. I then tried the 877 number and someone did answer on the first ring. This person identified himself, but I don't recall his name. I told him I was getting estimates for a move we had coming up in Sept but we didn't have definite date - mid-sept is what I knew. This gentleman said "hold on please, I heard talking and laughing in the background and someone said "just take it". He then got back on the phone and gave me his standard quotes for weekday and weekend jobs with 2 men / 1 truck, etc.. I asked if I could get someone to come out and give me a better estimate. He said "so you want someone to come out?", I said yes and he transferred me to someone else - When this person picked up I again heard laughing. He did not identify himself - he only said "Mark the Mover" - maybe it was Mark himself - I don't know. I explained what I had explained before, that I would like someone to come out. He said "Well how big is your house?" - I told him - He then said "Well, for a job like that it's usually" '6 men,2 trucks, etc..' I again asked if I could have someone come out and give me a more accurate estimate as I did not want to ballpark it. He said "Well, I could but it will be like next Thursday, so I could but.... " I've never really heard someone who is attempting to sell a service so disinterested in doing what is required to actually make the sale. I felt a little like I was disrupting a party and they just wanted to tell me their standard prices without concern for what I was asking or as if they were really wanting my business. I told them I would call somewhere else. Sorry - I know the company will respond with something like 'we strive to always be professional' - but not in this case. And guess what, I own a mystery shopping company, so I am speaking with some level of front line performance evaluation experience.

We booked Mark the Mover for our move about 3 weeks before the big move date. A $190 deposit was required to save our date but refundable with 3 days notice. We were very pleased with the whole move experience with Mark the Mover. The team showed up on time in the morning and they all walked through the house to show them what items they'd be moving. During the packing they were quick to ask questions as they arose. Great care was taken to pad and seal furniture to prevent scratch or other damage. At the new house the team unloaded swiftly and placed furniture items where we wanted them. My only complaint about the move was they didn't clean up at either house. The crew left empty tape rolls at the old house and left all the used tape and shrink wrap at the new house for us to throw away.

I highly recommend Mark the Mover. They were very professional. Kept in contact prior to the move, called ahead to let us know the arrival time, did arrive when scheduled. The three movers were very well mannered, friendly and had a sense of humor. We were very glad to see they knew exactly what they were doing as we had just painted the walls, and the staircase was very narrow and had a 90 degree turn. Everything went well, in fact, of all the other movers I have used over the years, I found these men to be the easiest to work with. I will definitely use them to move again.
