I sent an email about a blocked main sewer line at ~ 7am and they called back promptly at 8 am when they opened in the morning . I got a 12 noon appointment. Chris( technician) came out , assessed the situation and found the problem in the drain line. He got it cleared and flowing within a couple of hours. Chris inspected the home for other issues with plumbing and gave recommendations. Great work !

I give them an A rating on everything absolutly.
Description of Work: I used Atlanta Plumbing Plus and I spend between $700.00 and $800.00. They repaired two leaking toilet and leaking faucets in our bathtub and in the kitchen. They did have to change out good bit of stuff. They had to replace some working parts.

We could hear water pouring into our crawl space everytime we ran water in our kitchen. We called Atlanta Plumbing Plus, as they did such a great job installing our toilets. They came out and crawled under the house to discover we had a really bad clog somewhere in our drain line. We discussed alternatives but he made it clear that all we were doing was pushing the clog around and to take sections of the pipe a little at a time to find it could get very expensive. Since our house is 40+ years old, it sounded like the most sensible option was to replace all the drain lines below the house. We discussed price and that it would not go over $3,000. They got us prepared for the update, came out a couple days later and started the work. They estimated it could take them one to one and a half days to complete and within 4 to 5 hours they were done. They took a picture of the clog and texted it to me from under the house, needless to say there was nothing that was going to get rid of that clog! They were very professional, arrived on time, and did outstanding work! I have already referred them a number of times and will continue to use them for any other plumbing needs, as sometimes paying a little more for something you know is going to be done right is very worth it to me!
Description of Work: Replaced all drain lines underneath the house to solve chronic drainage issues.

Plumber called ahead and arrived right at the beginning of the estimated time range. He put shoe covers on before entering without being asked. The problem was fixed in quickly and he also identified a problem with the toilet, that he suggested could be fixed at a later date.

It all starts with the person who answers the phone when you call to set up and appointment. India was a pleasure to speak with and she explained the companies philosophy to me which was very impressive. It is a culture of excellence which comes from the owner's intention to provide A+ service. It's a win- win - win situation. The customers' happy - the company's happy and the plumber's happy. Angie's list customers get 5% off the first item and every customer as well as Angie's List customers get 10% off the 2nd item on the same visit. Not only did I appreciate the quality of work, but also that a firm fixed price is given before the work is started. MIcah was outstanding. He was extremely professional. He assessed the situation, we discussed options and his work was exceptional. He was courteous and very knowledgeable. He respected the home and provided a free health and safety inspection. It was a pleasure to read all the customer comments and see that everyone experienced the same outstanding service that I did.
Description of Work: Installation of customer supplied kitchen faucet. Excellent work. Even brought his own rug to protect the kitchen floor. In addition,he discovered that there was a tee-fitting that was leaking - and he fixed that, too. Replaced broken toilet handle. Replaced master bathtub stopper. Checked water quality for chlorine - how much calcium and minerals are in the water Function and reliability - of all plumbing fixtures Full safety inspection of water heater

We have had great experiences with them. I have been able to get them to come to do estimates within a couple of days and to schedule work very quickly. I noticed some comments rated them low because their quotations weren't the lowest, but when you actually have work done by them, you can tell they are good at what they do. We feel good about the quality of their work and are willing to pay for it. The HVAC installation was very easy. They were willing to install it within a few days, but we decided to wait a couple of weeks. They were very accommodating. They took out the old system and took it away. They cleaned up everything thoroughly. I checked the installation and everything was well insulated. They showed me how to change the new filter and gave me information to register the system online. I have had good experiences with employees at our house and with them on the phone. We used them a few years ago to replace our sewer pipe and was so impressed with how concerned they were about getting our home fixed quickly that we didn't hesitate to get a quote from them for the HVAC. They aren't the cheapest, but to me, it's worth the peace of mind. They even follow up with thank you notes and a survey to improve future service, which isn't a reason I would choose them, but it says something about their commitment to quality. I will use them again when we do an addition to our house in the future.
Description of Work: Have used them for replacement of sewer pipe, air conditioner repair, and heating and air replacement. Most recent was HVAC replacement.

Family members were present when this work was done. When I returned home, everything was fixed, clean, and the water was back on and toilet worked perfectly. No backup. No need to remove fluids. No need for further installation of parts.
Description of Work: PRIOR to the service call, the following correspondence occurred from Atlanta Plumbing Plus' Angie's List site (nice!): Question: Catherine.M : We have a sewer ejector pump that has frozen up. Can you help us? Wanted to make sure you did this type of repair before I went any further. Thank you for answering back.May 07, 2012 Provider Response: Hi Ms. Catherine: sorry for the delay in responding to you. For some reason, the e-mail to us from Angie's List dropped in to our SPAM box. That has never happened with an Angie's List e-mail before. The answer to your question is "Yes, we do work on sewage ejector pumps and we would be happy to have a plumber come out and look at yours. Please call us at 770-447-0374 and either India or I will answer the phone and set an appointment time for you. It went very well. Keith was our plumber for both the rough plumbing work as well as the finish work. He's a great guy and seemed to be focused on getting things right. Linda was very nice to work with as well.
Description of Work: Atlanta Plumbing Plus did all the plumbing work on a complete demo and rebuild of an old bathroom. We installed a new tub, added a walk-in shower and drain, relocated plumbing for the sink and installed a new toilet. The old bathroom was gutted down to the concrete and studs.

I called for an appointment and they were able to schedule a time that was convenient for me within a couple of days. Our shower diverter had quit diverting water completely up to the shower; actually, about as much water came out the tub outlet as was diverted up to the shower head. Also, the faucets had begun allowing slight water leakage, even when they were turned "off". Micah called me prior to his arrival and then arrived promptly as scheduled. He was very pleasant; examined the issues that we were having and gave me a couple of options. He stated we could replace the faucets and diverter - but, since that would be a partial replacement of the shower assembly, there would be no warranty for the work. Optionally, we could elect to replace the entire shower mechanism which would entail cutting through the sheetrock on the other side of the bath wall (in order to preserve the bath til work). That work would cost several hundred dollars more but would also come with a warranty. We elected to replace the faucets and the diverter. Micah had to leave and go from our house in Decatur to Marietta to get the parts he needed and then returned about 1 1/4 hr later. He replaced the faucets and diverter without any problem and then snaked the drain. When he left, the diverter and faucets were working nicely and the water was flowing easily through the drain. I thought that the ~$200 charged for snaking the drain was high, given that he only ran the snake 25 feet. The price for the replacement of faucets and diverter and labor involved for that portion of our bill (~$195) seemed very appropriate to me. The entire time spent on the job - including his travel time to get parts - was about 3 1/4 hours. Therefore, I gave the company a "C" on price - but "A's" for the work, professionalism, explanations, and results.
Description of Work: Replaced faucets and shower diverter in our upstairs bathroom (house is about 50 years old) and also ran snake through the bathtub drain which had a history of draining slowly.

Mica did a professional job. He was honest and knowledgeable. Also, he explained what he was doing and why. (In contrast, another, bad, plumber was going to charge $700 (3 times as much) and wouldn't even have replaced the right part! He didn't measure the water pressure correctly; it was just 52 psi, not 85 psi. Also, the bad plumber was going to replace a safety relief valve and a pressure reducing valve, both of which were actually ok.)
Description of Work: Replace a small "thermal expansion" tank above a hot water heater, which controls the water pressure for safety.

This is my second experience with Linda and APP, and I could not imagine a better company to to business with. Linda was available at every step of my process, even answering the phone late at night and early in the morning, when I had no right to expect to speak to a human--especially not one as knowledgeable, helpful and kind as Linda. She provided info and assistance as I shopped for a new tub with particular specs, sent her installer over first to help get everything right, and was supremely responsive to my needs. They did exactly what they said they would, on time, on budget, without making a mess or causing me the slightest worry. They were amenable to returning to finish the plumbing install after all the tile work was completed, coordinated that with the tiler, and completed the work very quickly after everything was ready. Keith, the installer, was extremely considerate and careful--he spoke with me very courteously, wore shoe covers in my house, and was the soul of professionalism. I could not be happier with them and will definitely call ONLY them for any future plumbing need!
Description of Work: I hired APP to tear out my l980s acrylic tub/shower surround and install a new tub/shower combo in my master bath. In addition, they also removed a vanity top and sink from the same bathroom and replaced the sink with a new one. They did the same with the sink in my powder room. The cost listed above comprises not only the plumbing work but some of the parts as well.

I had a bathtub faucet that started running hot water over the weekend (it had been drippingfor a while). I called first thing Monday morning, and they came out same day, which I appreciated (no emergency fee). Because this bathroom is getting completely redone in a few months, I explained to the service man that I just needed the hot water stopped; I didn't care if it worked, since the bathroom is not in use. He was able to do that quickly (an incremental valve..?) and was in and out. I had the $20 coupon which brought my cost down from $180. So, while it seemed high, he also fixed it and was in and out in about half an hour. I would use them again, but will probably always keep an eye on the price tag (I am surprised every time I call a plumber).

This is the second time my husband and I called ATL Plumbing +, and it was, again, Ivan who made the service call. At the end of his previous visit in February to fix a water hammer problem, Ivan had recommended that we have an expansion tank installed on our water heater (as it was currently required by code but had not been when our home was built almost 19 years ago). He had quoted us $241.00 for parts, labor, and installation; and we were very impressed that he honored that quote to the penny over a month later. As before, he was very professional, courteous, and quick-working; and my husband and I were very pleased. We would call ATL Plumbing + for future non-emergency plumbing issues in a heartbeat.

Keith is fantastic to work with. Meticulous and hard working, he was able to provide an estimate the day he visited, and I was able to work with Linda to get the project scheduled according to my timeline. As a DIY remodeler, I needed someone who could be flexible with my schedule (slow) while doing what needed to be done to pass the appropriate plumbing inspections. Keith was able to do most of the work up front, then give me time to put down the sub-floor and returned for a final day to install the drains, etc to pass the rough inspection. The estimate was fair and thought out and Keith did a great job adjusting as neccesiary to satisfy the inspector's requirements of an additional vent. Keith's professionalism and diligence were exceptionaly and I will definately be calling him for all future plumbing needs.
Description of Work: I am remodeling/installing 2 new bathrooms and changing the configuration of my laundry room. Keith performed all of the plumbing changes/additions required for this remodel and pulled the Cobb County Permit.

Monday afternoon our downstairs tub started to fill with drain/waste water. I called Atlanta Plumbing Plus and they were able to get a plumber to my house that afternoon. Once he arrived he checked the clean-out located outside and determined the problem was between the house and the road. He was very professional and courteous and provided an estimate to complete the work. He performed the work quickly and even offered to check out any other problems I may have been having. I was pleased with my experience with Atlanta Plumbing Plus and would recommend them to anyone else needing plumbing work done.

Chris W. replaced all the guts in my master bathroom toilet today. He was professional, knowledgeable, thorough and extremely courteous. He answered some other minor questions I had about faucets. He gave me a mini lesson on how to remove the sink drain for cleaning purposes. I couldn't have been happier with him and his service. Also, I called Atlanta Plumbing Plus at 8:30am and they scheduled an appointment for 1-3. When there was a shift in their schedule, Chris was able to arrive at 10:30. I had a working toilet by noon. If I had know the experience would have been this good, I wouldn't have lived without a working toilet in my master bathroom for a week. Thank for everything Atlanta Plumbing Plus.

Late on a Friday afternoon, all of our toilets stopped working and sewage began backing up in one of our bathtubs. We had out-of-town guests arriving, and needed emergency services right away. We checked Angie's List for a good plumbing company that provided 24-hour emergency service. We called Atlanta Plumbing Plus because of their good reputation on Angie's List. It was after normal business hours, but they responded immediately. They informed us in advance that their emergency rates would apply, but we were happy to pay those rates in order to get prompt, professional service. Chris, the plumber on call that night, left his dinner and promptly drove to our house. He worked at cabling the line from about 6 pm to 10 pm., including removing one of the toilets. But without access to the home's cleanout, he was unable to complete the job at that time. Apparently the original cleanout had been buried by the builder somewhere in the front yard when our house was constructed in the mid 1970s. Chris said he would need to install a cleanout, but it was too dark outside to do that work. We were all concerned that he'd find that the line was damaged by roots, crushed pipe, etc. Chris promised to show up bright and early the next morning, and went home to eat his dinner and get some sleep. (Although our neighbors offered to let us use their bathrooms, we and our out-of-town guests moved into a neighborhood hotel.) The next day, before we had finished our breakfast at the hotel, Chris called to tell us that the job was finished. He just needed someone to come to the house and turn on the water to check that everything was now working fine. And it was!
Description of Work: Cleared our home's plumbing line. Installed an accessible exterior cleanout to reach the blockage and clear it. Cabled from new cleanout to the street. (Original cleanout had been buried by the builder and was not accessible.)
