Description of Work: Nice sales person came out showed up on time measured everything, I give her specifics of exactly what I wanted and then herd nothing. Called The office again they said they would have her call me right away, three weeks later still nothing. Already signed with another flooring contractor for $12,000. their loss I guess!

Description of Work: Replaced carpet in the master bedroom and master closet. The installation was thorough and looks great. The customer service at the showroom, on the phone, and from the installers was great. The quality is also excellent. Will definitely use them to replace the rest of the house.

Description of Work: Excel repaired and replaced our kitchen flooring. We needed a lot of squeaks taken out and the guys did an excellent job of identifying and quickly rectifying the problem. They then put down some lovely Luxury Adura vinyl tiles. Looks wonderful. | |Heather was great in the initial process wherein she came out with samples and lots of information and answers to our questions. | |Would definitely recommend and use again!

Description of Work: Provided carpeting for two floors of our home (& removed old carpeting from same area)--five large rooms, two staircases, a long hallway, & adjacent closets, landings, etc. They made this experience as quick & easy as it could be, especially right before the holidays, at a reasonable (& all-inclusive) cost. I was beyond pleased with their professionalism, consideration, & expertise; the carpet choices they guided me to are both high quality, beautiful, & we are enjoying them thoroughly. I would recommend Excel to anyone in the Atlanta area considering new carpeting, & warn them against advertisers making offers sounding too good to be true, or popular building stores which negotiate "deals" with contractors that fall through, as we learned the hard way.

Description of Work: The guys arrived right on time. They moved all of our heavy furniture, old carpet and pad, then they layed the new pad and carpeting. They even fixed a closet door for us that was broken before they got here. They did an excellent job and I would definitely use them again!

+ -1 moreRuss came out promptly and on time to do my initial measurement and even brought additional samples that he would normally not have on the truck. I was impressed, so I made my selection and he even called while here to verify my selection was in stock. My appt. was made for the morning of Friday, July 6. The day came and I got a call that morning that the carpet had not been picked up because of the 4th of July holiday, but they were going to still try and get the carpet installed same day. Craig kept me informed through the day that it was not likely going to happen and finally around 5pm., called to let me know they would be out on Sat 7/7 between 9:30 and 10am. They arrived at 11am. They smelled of cigarette smoke and the primary installer smelled as if had not bathed in days. They were prompt in getting started once arriving. I pointed out an obvious issue in the installation which was corrected. They cleaned up well and the install looks good. Overall: Good, but not great.
Description of Work: Remove and replace padding and carpet three sets of stairs in town house.

The Installer, Israel, showed up on time with an assistant and almost immediately was at work ripping up the old carpet and getting it out of the house as quickly as possible. The installation was done efficiently, quickly and then they were gone.
Description of Work: Called for estimate. Showed up on time. Estimate was for approximately the same amount as other estimates we received, but the carpet quality was superior. Installation date and time was arranged. At the last minute we needed to change the date of the installation and had no difficulty doing so.
