Everything went perfectly - arrived on time, fixed problem quickly, no charge due to unit being under warranty. We will continue to do business with Central because of their reliability and professionalism.

It went well. Their emergency number is very helpful and they will respond within 15-20 minutes on the phone, and they take good care of you if you find yourself in an emergency.

I got a second opinion, and it turns out that there was nothing wrong with it. The owner called me and said that he wanted to come out and look at it, and that he stood by his technician. He said that if his technician was wrong, they would buy me a new furnace. After a few hours, they concluded that there was nothing wrong. So in the end, he did stand by his word and they bought me a brand new furnace. I appreciated that he followed through, but it was a little uncomfortable because the technician was obviously not happy with being questioned, even though he turned out to be wrong. What made me the most upset is that on the first visit, his detector was going off saying that the furnace was leaking carbon monoxide, and I have small children. We bought a detector and the other company that came out had one as well. Neither of ours detected anything. Their second visit detected nothing as well. This was a year ago, so I don't even know if that technician is still working for the company. When we turned the furnace on this year, it wasn't working. We called at 11pm at night, and they were very nice and were willing to come out that night. We said it could wait until morning. The technician that arrived on Sunday morning was very polite and it was quick fix. He even said that we should have let him come out last night, because it was so cold. We were impressed with how nice he was. I would use them for warranty work on my furnace.

I have a very good relationship with them. They are top notch. I didn?t pay them anything when they last came out because I have an annual contract with them. They come out and service the heating and AC units. There are certain things that they do at no extra charge. I pay $129 a year for a service contract and it handles everything that I have to have done. I like everything about them. They are punctual and dependable. The service people that they send are polite and very knowledgeable about what they are doing. It?s a long run family company. I have probably had the same company for 40 years and I would never change as long as they are in business.

The tech was professional and very nice. I like the fact that they are so responsive when called. They set me up with a window of time for service and I appreciated that.

Central's employees, both their salesman as well as their installers, provided prompt and professional service. They replaced both our upstairs and downstairs a/c and furnace units. The job took 3 days to complete, and in every respect they finished the work as quoted in a professional and timely manner. To date, we are very satisfied with the job.

I have three units and they seem to have done a fine job with them. I have a contract with them and they come out certain times of the year to do this. They are really nice people and they seem to be very professional. They have all kinds of choices to offer you as far as contracts and you just pick what you want. I feel they are very professional if you ask me.

I am not happy with them because on a weekend I had an emergency and they were not available for me. Their recording said regular customers should have a number and we have been a regular customer for years and we were never given a number to reach. I ended up finding someone else who is available at all times. I was unhappy with the work they did and I would not use them again because of the furnace situation. I felt that the problem was not found when they caulked around it and it was expensive. It was like they took advantage of me when I was not knowledgeable about stuff like that.

It did take them two days to complete the work but that was only because they did have to do the concrete slab as well. I am really not too sure what they charged me however I remember it being very reasonable.

Mark came out on a Saturday and reviewed with us our options. He provided us with preprinted pricing for installation all different levels of equipment (other companies sent estimates at a later time). There was no hard sell. He talked about the companies experience and philosophy. After we signed the contract, he discovered that Carrier had temporarily stopped production of the unit we had chosen and would not be available for many weeks. So we were upgraded to a more efficient unit at no cost. Installation crew arrived within 30 minutes of their appointment. During the process, they were clean and professional. When my husband pointed out something that was installed that looked funny to the eye, they immediately figured out a way to improve it.

They're on time, they keep the appointments, and call ahead of time. Very courteous. I think the quality of work is excellent. Cost is per 3-visit contract (1 year).

They called me back right away and were on time. They also took the time to explain to me the situation.

The repairman Jason, was very nice and helpful. He checked my A/C out and cleaned out the line for me. I was very pleased with his work. He did a great job and I would use them again.

Upstairs was not cooling and there was a bad vibration in the room over the A/C handler. Jason checked the unit in the basement, said the fan could be out of balance but first we should put pads under the unit and they would charge $300 to do it. (We found out there was a piece of paper in the fan which was causing the vibration). He did not find anything wrong with the outside unit. (We found out the A/C was overheating and causing the system to shut down). He seemed more interested in selling us a service contract than really identifying the problems. Even though we got an appointment the next day and the tech was on time, the overall experience was horrible. The ''F'' for quality of work is because we consider identifying the problem as part of the work.

Michael arrived on time, & was professional & neat. The work was very well done. HOWEVER- The final price ballooned to $551 because the estimate didn't include the charges for the service call & the refrigerant/coolant. (You'd think an estimate would include these, huh?) $339 on chemical cleaning for the coils. Michael tried to push the service agreement, but there's no way CH&AC is stepping foot into our house again. Thanks to Michael, my wife & I agreed 1000% to never allow work done on our house without a binding written estimate. Thanks CH&AC - You fleeced a visibly pregnant woman who had no experience with contractors.

They always send different people, and they seem to be pleasant and they try to be helpful. They are well mannered, clean, and they speak english.

Unbelievably poor service! First insisted on coming out for an estimate, arrived 30 minutes late, then told me it was a flat fee. Went ahead and scheduled the appointment and was told by Malcomb that he would call back and confirm, he did not call. I called them to confirm and was told that we were scheduled for 8:00 the following Monday. At 8:45 the following Monday, I called to ask where they were and I was told that they were on their way and would be there between 9 and 9:30. At 12:00 called again and told that we were scheduled for an afternoon appointment. I was finally able to talk to Malcomb who told me that we were not scheduled at all. He essentially called me a liar and offered no apology nor explanation for his failure to call back and confirm nor an explanation as to why I was told that morning that they were on their way, when he claims that I was not even scheduled. Terrible company with unbelievably poor customer service.

I HAVE USED THEM SEVERAL TIMES. I FIND THEM TO BE RESPONSIVE AND COMPETITIVELY PRICED, BUT THEY ARE NOT AS ORGANIZED AS I WOULD LIKE. THEY GET THE JOB DONE, BUT MY WIFE HAS HAD TO MAKE CALLS SEVERAL TIMES TO GET THINGS SQUARED AWAY.

Had requested a quote on a new furnace and A/C system. Waited for the sales rep to come on a Saturday and he called a few hours before the appointment time. He asked me a few questions on what type of system I was looking for. He said he only installs high-end systems. He then cancelled the appointment when I told him I was looking for a mid-range system and told him the range I was looking to spend.

CALLED FOR SERVICE AT 3:30, SERVICE WAS PROMISED SAME DAY BY 6 P.M. SERVICEMAN ON TIME, VERY COURTEOUS, EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE DID AS HE DID IT. CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF, TAKING ALL OLD MATERIALS REPLACED AWAY FROM PREMISE. I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR THE PAST TWENTY YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM.

REQUESTED THEY REPLACE THE 9 YEAR OLD AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR. WORKER FLAT OUT REFUSED, SAID HE COULD 'SAVE ME MONEY,' REPLACED CAPACITOR INSTEAD. I TOLD HIM THE CAPACITOR HAD BEEN REPLACED SEVERAL TIMES AND THE COMPRESSOR WAS BURNING IT OUT. HE REFUSED TO REPLACE COMPRESSOR. THE NEW CAPACITOR THEN - OF COURSE - BURNED OUT IMMEDIATELY, BECAUSE OF THE BAD AC UNIT. I'M STILL WITHOUT AC, OUT $350, AND OUT A LOT OF WASTED TIME. ALSO - GETTING THEM OUT TO REPLACE THE NEW CAPACITOR EACH TIME IT BURNED OUT, WHICH WAS UNDER THEIR WARRANTY, WAS LIKE PULLING TEETH. TOO MANY UNRETURNED PHONE CALLS. I DON'T APPRECIATE WORKERS WHO IGNORE MY REQUESTED REPAIR BECAUSE THEY 'KNOW BETTER.' IF I WANT TO PAY FOR A WHOLE NEW AC UNIT, THEN SELL IT TO ME. SEPARATELY, HAD SOMEONE FROM SAME COMPANY OUT TO PRICE WHOLE NEW FURNACE SYSTEM. SPENT TIME REVIEWING HOME, NEVER PROVIDED ME ESTIMATE DESPITE SEVERAL FOLLOW UP PHONE REQUESTS FOR SUCH.

COMPANY WAS ABLE TO SEND ONE OF THEIR TECHNICIANS (CHRIS) OUT THE SAME DAY. HE FOUND OUT THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE IGNITION AND A WATER LINE IN THE FURNACE WAS LEAKING. HE REPAIRED THE IGNITION SO WE COULD HAVE HEAT AND ORDERED THE OTHER PART TO FINISH THE REPAIR. COMPANY CALLED IN A FEW DAYS WHEN THE PART CAME IN AND CHRIS CAME BACK TO FINISH THE REPAIR. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH HIS KNOWLEDGE AND HIS QUICK ASSESSMENT OF THE PROBLEM SO ASKED HIM TO LOOK AT OUR HUMIDIFIER AND AIR CLEANER. HE GOT THE HUMIDIFIER WORKING BUT THE AIR CLEANER NEEDED REPLACEMENT. WE HAD HIM REPLACE THE AIR CLEANER AND FIX THE EXHAUST PIPES ATTACHED TO THE FURNACE. EXCELLENT JOB DONE, FIXED THINGS THAT OTHER COMPANIES HAD NOT..VERY PROFESSIONAL..WILL USE THEM FROM NOW ON.
