We have been using them for years. They're honest and professional. You can get the service cheaper but it helps that they are familiar with your home.

We have a yearly contract, so there is no charge for the annual service calls. The contract for our four units was about $275.

We have had a maintenance contract with them, and they do a thorough inspection when they come.

Regular maintenance visit. We have had a maintenance contract with Central for years. They are always prompt, professional, and thorough. Office staff is always helpful as well.

We have relied on Central Heating and Air for the maintainece of our HVAC for 15 years and also had some systems replaced by them. They have consistently sent out knowledgeable and courteous technicians, have been reasonably priced, prompt and efficient.| They try to work with you regarding times and days for service and will call us,if they have a cancellation, to try and fit us in earlier. They prioritize emergency calls.| I have never felt uncomfortable having their technicians in my home.

Have had a contract with them for several years and have always been satisfied with our service. Installed a new furnace last winter andhave been happy with all aspects of it.

It took about a full day for them to do the work. They had two technicians working for six to eight hours. The service was great. The initial guy who came to look at the problem explained why I need a new unit. The salesman later came out and explained why I did not need a bigger and more expensive unit than what he was trying to sell me. I thought he was honest and I loved that. He was very personable, nice, and he quoted a reasonable price. The technicians showed up on time and everything went smoothly. I have no complaints about the service.

They are timely, responsive, and courteous. They offer rebates and I think their service is great.

There was probably about 6 different people I met with total on 3 different occasions. The service was fine and they said they would follow up with us about the follow-up work. We have not heard from them, but we did contact them and they are supposed to come back next week to ensure everything is working appropriately. They were professional and on time for the appointments.

I was using another provider several years ago and I was not satisfied, so I tried Central Heating and Air. I have been very pleased. They have corrected several problems that existed when the other provider was maintaining the unit. They are very responsive and once they correct a problem, it stays fixed.

David came out to give me a quote. He was awesome. Very professional, extremely intelligent, amazingly knowledgeable, clearly passionate about his work, and my kind of sales person. (I actually hate to call him that.........because it sounds negative.) David wasn't one of those pushy "sales people". He was more like the guy who was giving me quality information so I could make an accurate decision that would best suit my needs for my home. He educated me about Central Heating and Air's quality products and services and told me all of the details about the system they were offering. The quote was very competitive. Yes, we decided ultimately to go with a different company, but I would most definitely do business with Central Heating and Air again in the future.

I purchased my HVAC system from Central Heating and Air in 2009. I purchase the maintenance agreement yearly. This year, my AC happened to go out a couple days before my scheduled maintenance visit. Dakota found the leak and repaired it under warranty. In the four years since the purchase of my system, I have been pleased with my purchase and with the maintenance from Central Heating and Air.

Matthew arrived within 20 minutes of my calling for A/C service. He came in, assessed. the problem, and gave us several options for repairing or replacing our A/C unit. We chose to have the minimal amount done as this is unit is only 2 years old. He put more coolant in the unit, explained what the life of this fix would probably be, gave us all the numbers we needed to check out the warranty and was finished with the job within 2 hours of my original call. My husband and I were both amazed and very happy with our experience with Matthew and Central Heating and Air Conditioning.

Central came promptly after I called and they first tried to fix our old system to get it working. The repair man mentioned that it was very outdated and might need to be replaced soon. At our request he set up for someone else to come out and look at possible replacement. We had several other HVAC companies come and give quotes so that we could decide who to go with. We liked Central because they were knowledgeable and very straightforward with us throughout the process. Even as we did our own research and dragged our feet on choosing what kind of system to buy they checked in with us and answered questions without being pushy at all.

When my air conditioning unit quit working on the hottest day of the summer, I panicked. I used Angie's List to find a reputable Heating and A/C company, and after reading the reviews, decided to go with Central Heating and A/C. They were able to come out the next day to fix the problem. The service expert was helpful and explained step by step how he would fix the problem. Shortly thereafter, my air conditioning was running perfectly. He checked each vent to ensure proper airflow and made several suggestions as to how to keep it running efficiently (without extra costs to me). I will definitely use them again for my heating and A/C needs.

My A/C was not cooling so I called Central last Monday, they wanted to come out that day but no one was available to meet them at my house so they came out Tuesday morning (earlier than appt. scheduled). I described the issue another technician (a contractor recommended by my HOA) told me, Steve knew immediately what to check for, took him less than 20 minutes to replace the capacitor. It has been a week and my A/C is working perfectly.

First of all, I've had Central perform service multiple times; Matt is the tech whose assigned to my account. He's serviced a (now dead; needs to be replaced) mini-split a few times due to water damage and freon leaks. He also came out last year and serviced the central a/c; it hadn't been cleaned in years (I purchased the house recently). Matt came out to once again service my central a/c. The house temp was around 89 degrees, and I was bringing my newborn son home that day. Since he had recharged the freon the previous year, we knew the system has freon leaks. With the age of the unit (13 years when the home was built), it was better to put the money into replacing the unit instead of repairing it. The following week, Mark and Jim (Owner) came out to provide an estimate on replacing the a/c. Because of the various factors, I chose to replace both the a/c and furnace with a Carrier Pro Series 2.5 ton unit. While the price they provided was higher than I expected (I initially was not thinking of replacing the furnace), I felt the gains (cost effective in the long term; longer warranty; better cooling) were worth it. The installers, Jason and Nathan, performed the work quickly and without too much noise (remember the newborn son). I left them to work independently, while I worked downstairs. They added some nice features with the system, that was different from my old unit -- single drain with shutoff monitors in case the drain backs up. Jason showed me everything that was changed out, where and how to change the air cleaner (filter), how to clean the drain annually with bleach, and answered the many questions I had. The following week my wife and mother brought to my attention that the system would only run for a few minutes then stop, never cooling the house enough. Eventually during the day, the house temp would creep up to very uncomfortable levels. While I suspected the thermostat was going out (didn't get it replaced initially), I called Central since the system was just replaced. George, the install manager, came out determined that the water drain was in fact clogged, and the condensation water had backed up. I would have thought the installers would check that, but later he showed that the drain pipe was run into the ground (usually done to prevent erosion and bugs). This would have prevented the installers from ensuring the drain was unclogged. George agreed he would bring that to his team's attention to prevent that from happening again. The problem was he didn't have the equipment to unclog the drain. He contacted the off-hours service tech, who arrived after several hours. When he arrived, the technician said if I had called the emergency number in my maintenance contract and mentioned my newborn son, he would have pushed the other customers back. Within 30 minutes, the service tech had the drain unclogged and the system running again. Last, we found that the system was constantly running regardless of the thermostat setting. The temp would get uncomfortablely cool at nights. Whether the thermostat was set high or even turned off, the system would turn on. Matt, my usual technician, came out and indicated because of the timing he believed it was the fresh air duct opening and closing. He said it would do so regardless of the thermostat setting, even if off, and the system fan would come on to circulate the air throughout the home. The cool night air may lower the home temp some, he said. But after a few days, the home temp was getting down to the low 60's. Because I was just tired of dealing with these issues, I was almost ready to have them remove the system and go with another company. Honestly, spending this much money on something, it needs to be installed right the first time. Because of my continuing problems, they sent their most experienced person to look at the issue, which turned out that the two wires for the fresh-air duct timer were flipped. Therefore, when the timer switched on, it was turning the a/c on. Even with the system running cycles constantly, my electricity bill dropped 25%. Finally my home has great cooling and heating, which we've experienced now. While there were bumps to get everything ironed out (which is why I wanted the annual maintenance contract included) with the new system, I'm happy with their service overall. If you purchased an above basic system as we did, I would suggest insisting on any company including the maintenance contract to cover anything wrong that could show up later. This will ensure they have to cover their install mistakes.

Arrived at the promised time on the dot. Diagnosed and repaied the problem in a timely manner. Made to feel comfortable with the process.

I called Central to come out and fix a water leak in my A/C unit (inside). Their scheduling people were very very nice, didn't put me on hold forever, and were able to schedule the appointment for the very next day. LOVE their availability, instead of having to wait a week or so!! They called to confirm the appointment the same afternoon as well. Not only did Chris show up exactly on time, but he talked me through the entire process as he went along, keeping me informed of what he was doing, and why. Then he handed me the bill. It was only $179.00!! I about fell over, as I could not believe it was so cheap!! I was expecting about $450 bill. WELL WORTH the $179 to not have my basement flooded by a malfunctioning A/C unit. I not only am posting this review, but have told my best friend about Central and he has made an appointment for TODAY to fix his A/C. HIGHLY recommend Central. Will use them again, no doubt about it.
