The service tech was prompt, professional and courteous. The sales person at the store was knowledgeable and professional as well. He provided information comparing different brands, styles and prices. We set up for delivery in 2 days. The delivery people were very prompt and delivered and set up the new machine and took away the old with minimum fuss. Absolutely no complaints about the whole process.
Description of Work: Our washing machine stopped draining. We knew the machine was old and thought a new one might be more cost effective than repair. The Casselberry service person came out the following day and confirmed our thought. He told us that if we purchased from Casselberry's half the service call fee would be applied to the purchase. We decided to go to Casselberry's and check their selection and prices and ended up purchasing from them.

I called to make an appointment to have my Maytag washer serviced. The reason I called this company is because I checked with Maytag for a list of companies certified to make repairs in my zip code area. I was thrilled when Castleberry was listed with them and on Angie's list as an execellent provider for service. But when I called Castleberry, they asked for my zip code and after telling them..they said they don't "service that area." I am located 10.4 miles from their business. We are in the same county. I felt discriminated against. However, I see listed on their listing that they do SALES in that area.

We are very happy with them. We thought we had to buy a new refrigerator as it was 20 years old but the repair man told us it was a very good refrigerator and it was worth repairing it. The service was prompt. They did everything they said they would do. They did when they said they would do it. The serviceman was very nice. We were happy with the price too.
Description of Work: Castleberry’s Appliance Sales & Service repaired our refrigerator. The refrigerator wasn’t cooling properly so they changed the thermostat or the control in it. The ice maker was leaking so they changed a part in it and took care of that too.

Everything went very smoothly. No long trips to the truck for equipment.
Description of Work: Refrigerator that was having trouble with the freezer frosting up at the ice maker. The repairman had to change the part that allowed the ice to drop down. He had the part with him. He had the new part in very quickly and the whole thing took less than a half hour.

The call center was efficient and pleasant. A contractor was sent who had extensive experience as an employee of the company. He was punctual, professional, and friendly. He answered questions and performed the work quickly and effectively.
Description of Work: The serviceman confirmed that our clothes dryer was in good working order and safe to use.

Our Amana refrigerator stopped cooling completely. We scheduled one repairman (NOT from Castleberry's) to come look at it on a Friday afternoon. He said there was nothing he could do. As soon as he left, I checked the Amana website for repair companies and called Castleberry's. A repairman was at the house the very next day, Saturday, and replaced the compressor in the refrigerator. The process took around two hours. The refrigerator is working great so far.

Service was scheduled and completed on the day of my call. They even accommodated my need for the service call to be after 2 p.m. Service rep. said appointment would be between 2 and 4. Antonio arrived shortly after 2, set right to work, determined that a part was needed, called in to confirm part was in stock, left to pick it up, returned promptly and completed the job.

This was a very nice experience. The last time I purchased an appliance, it was from a different company and we have had a total of 17 service calls on that fridge in the past few years. I didn't want to go through that again. I was impressed with the product knowledge and customer service of the salesman who sold us our new appliances. We will probably end up buying a new fridge from them in the future.

We also had our washing machine fixed by them. Each time we didn't have to wait long to get an appointment for service. The technician came when the dispatcher said he would. When he arrived he was professional and polite, answering my husband's many questions with patience while he went about his repair work. Before leaving, he made sure we understood what the problem had been and what to do in the future to prevent a recurrence. I couldn't have asked for a more professional job. He also cleaned up behind himself too.

I must say that the used section there is great! They also do sell brand new products as well; it all depends what you are looking for. Now, I did have to seek our help from a sales representative when I went to purchase my unit but otherwise, the sale and the machine itself are great.
Description of Work: I got a used Whirlpool washing machine from this appliance sales center. I got the unit used because we have a very tight space for a washing machine in our home and we are going to be moving to a new home that we are building soon, so I did not want to pay for a new one.

On Thursday night, I went into my kitchen to begin dinner and found a pool of water on the floor. My fridge had quit and everything was melted! I spoke with a representative from a major 24/7 appliance shop who told me they could have someone out on Tuesday afternoon. On Friday morning, I called Castleberry and was told they could have a technician come out sometime that day. As requested, they called me when he was on his way and I met him at the house. Within 10 minutes, he replaced the bad relay, waited while I mopped behind the fridge (whoever actually cleans behind there regularly??), cleaned up after himself and was on his way for less than half of what the major dealer was going to charge. I will recommend Castleberry without reservations and will definitely use them again.

Woke up Friday morn, April 28, refrigerator was not working. Called another company, as was a Kenmore 22. Advised earliest appointment would be Monday, April 30th. I advised could not wait as had no refrigeration. Sorry couldn't help. Called Castleberry, explained the problem and was advised Monday was earliest appointment available. On explaining that we had no refrigeration, was advised that a technician would call in 30 min, 15 min later he called and advised would be there between 9:30 and 10:00 AM. 9:40 the door bell rang. He defrosted the frig, determined that the thermostat and defrost time needed replacing, which he did. Cleaned up, gave instructions that it would be 7-8 hrs before freezer would make ice and refrig portion cools down. Happened just as he said. Very professional, highly recommend.

I bought the machine from a knowledgeable, friendly sales person. Delivery was arranged within a week and went very smoothly. The technician even tightened the leaky faucets on my wall before he connected the hoses to the machine. I am very happy with my washing machine.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY GOOD. THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND WERE VERY RESPONSIVE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HE DID. HE JUST FIXED IT. HE LOOKED AT IT AND FIXED IT. AFTER HE FOUND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG HE ORDERED THE PART AND AS SOON AS IT CAME IN, HE WAS HERE AND MADE THE ICE MACHINE WORK AGAIN.

I had two different technicians. They both arrived on time and they were both polite. I felt that they were reasonably priced.
Description of Work: My oven stopped working on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. I called Castleberry's first thing on Monday morning. The technician came to my house the next day, Tuesday, and worked for a couple of hours before determining that I needed to have a new motherboard installed. The part had to be ordered and they were not sure if it would be here in time for me to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Fortunately, it did arrive and a technician came out to my house on Wednesday afternoon to install it, so Thanksgiving dinner went on as planned!

We spoke with a repairman by phone. He told us that the parts that would need to be replaced are no longer available. He saved a charge for his travel time, by letting us know ahead of time and even though his company also sells appliances, he didn't push a new unit on us. They have repaired our dishwasher in the past and did a nice job.
