Description of Work: I bought all new kitchen appliances from them in 2006 renovation. Wanted to support locally owned business. My Maytag refrigerator started running cold (the interior temp said between 32-37. 38 is normal). Guy came out, looked at problem, went and got one part from store and fixed it in a few moments. Did not give me Angie's List Discount - said they did not honor it. | |Filtered water button stopped working at same time so I called and the same guy came out a few days later, took something off the inside back panel, took out an industrial strength blow-dryer, turned it on and the water started running. The next day it stopped again. I intended to get him right back out here to fix it for good but the holidays came and I never called them back. Now I know that would be another service charge. I'm using a Brita pitcher for filtered water, although I do miss the ease of pushing that button and having ice cold water. Maybe I will call them later but right now, it's not a huge priority.

Description of Work: Dishwaher had quit operting properly. The repair company responded in a short time. A determination was made of the parts needed to effect repair and was ordered. When the part arrived an appointment was set up with tenant who was not home as he advised he would be. Castleberry's repairman waited for some time but tenant did not show up. Castleberry's rescheduled for a diffrent time and compleated the repair at no additonal charge for being stood up once.

Description of Work: This company wanted ~$70 for the house call. I knew the burner was bad, and prices online were much less. For less than $50 with shipping, I ordered the replacement burner by calling the customer service number on the oven. Everyone was very helpful, they triple-checked everything to make sure I got the right part, and it took all of 5 minutes to install with a regular Philips screwdriver. Saved a bundle.

Don't use them!
Description of Work: Refrig. ice make quit. Castleberry replaced motor and timer. Ice m and reset. Ice maker worked three days and quit. 2nd call Repairman said refrig wasn't cold enough. Reset and ice maker worked two days. 3rd call, repairman said dust around the motor ha.d caused the problem. Ice maker worked 2 days and quit. I believe that the first repair was done with faulty part.

THE INSTALLATION WAS GOING TO BE DIFFICULT BECAUSE OF OUR TILE FLOOR AND CORIAN COUNTERTOPS. THE INSTALLER WAS VERY EXPERIENCED AND WAS ABLE TO DO THE JOB WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.

THE WORKMAN CAME WITHIN THE PREARRANGED TIME PERIOD. HE FIXED THE PROBLEM AND ALSO CHECKED ANOTHER APPLIANCE THAT WASN'T WORKING PROPERLY.
