Atlanta Tree Arbors

After several attempts I made an appointment which was broken once by the tree service, and after many attempts to reschedule, we finally arranged a Saturday with almost no notice. The service wanted what I felt was too much in additional fees to complete the work, the service saying they were not enthused about small jobs (meaning the Deal I paid for on Angie's List). I feel I wound up paying $500 for probably 800 of work by the tree service rates, but could have had the same work done for less by someone else. No complaints about the work done, only the amount paid and how the tree service held my Angie's List Deal hostage.

They were great for first phone call. Came out and gave me an estimate. Worked with me on when the work could be done. Told me how I could save money on the job. Called when weather was going to postpone job. Cleaned up and left everything great!!!! Could not have asked for better and they were litterally between 40% and 60% cheeper than the other companies I called. Will be using them again

Brian is professional, punctual and easy to work with. He was recommended to me by neighbors and I highly recommend his service. His crew is competent, efficient and does a good job cleaning up- no complaints!

They were a lot less expensive than the other companies that I had gotten a quote from. They were very on time. It was finished sooner than I thought.

I read the other reviews, which made me feels good about calling this company. This company didn't disappoint me in price, quality and professionalism. They had the correct amount of people and equipment to do the job. I would have them do work for me again.

It went well. They took care of the stump and tree trim with little hassle to me.

They removed the tree after the quote. When we came home the job was done! No more worries about a dead pine falling on our home.

Great they removed trees without damaging house even though it was a tight area to drop the limbs.

I had them take 3 trees down and I had some small hedges taken down it. They didn’t haul anything away and they threw it in the wooden area. They were only here for a couple of hours and seemed like they were gone quickly. I paid altogether $858 for the work and that did not at all seem like a deal. They only would accept a check and they cashed it the same day. I did not like how that was handled.

I called them on 10/31/2012 early that morning and a guy answered and told me that some one else ( Isiah I think) would be calling me back soon..... Well that didn't happen.... So on the morning of 11/1/2012 I tried to use the online form to request an estimate, after waiting for a response, I decided to try again later in the day calling both numbers listed..... no reply. I'm moving on

Worked around my schedule. I gave them my address and my "to-do" list, and it was all done while I was at work. No muss or fuss.

There wasn't much to the service - it was a pretty simple deal. The people I talked to were all ok. It was fine.

I contacted Atlanta Tree Arbors about getting a load of FREE wood chips delivered to my house. They told me that the next time they were in my area, they would call and let me know. Within a week they called and said they would have a load available the next day. We arranged an approximate time for the delivery, and they showed up within 10 minutes of that time. The gentleman who made the delivery was very careful not to hit the power lines that were very close to the dumping place. He dumped the wood ships exactly where I asked him to, and then he left. He was very friendly and professional. I don't know why anyone would pay for mulch when they can get it FREE! :)

I was very pleased with the work and would call this company again.

It was the fist time I had used them. It went well. They were professional and did what I asked. I didn't even have to be there for them to do the job.

They never called me back to perform the service.

They were very prompt in responding to my call. In fact they came out the same day that I called and when I arrived home the tree had been cut down and all debris removed. The job was done and it looked as if they had never been there. I was a little disappointed that when I asked about grinding the stump up I was told that it would cost as much as the tree removal. Therefore requiring that I ultimately spend $400 for the complete removal. I opted not to do that. Overall the experience was positive and I would use them again but I would clarify beforehand what is exactly covered by the coupon offer.

I ended up not needing the service after all, but the representative that I spoke with from Atlanta Tree Arbors was very prompt in his response to my call. He exhibited professionalism and my overall experience was excellent. If I need tree service done in the future, I will definitely give Atlanta Tree Arbors a call.

My neighbors were having several trees cut down by Atlanta Tree Arbors. Dale Messman introduced himself and asked if I had any trees that I was concerned about. I had a large Pine tree I asked him to look at and give me an estimate to cut it down and remove it. He was professional and knowledgeable and took the time to explain and give me options. His price was very reasonable. His crew worked in concert with each other and was efficient and quick. They did a great job of cleaning up the area when they are done too. I have since had him back to treat my trees for bugs.

Isaias was prompt with a call back for a free estimate after I called and the five man crew arrived right on time this morning and worked very hard until the job was completed. They had the experience and equipment to do the job safely with no damage to anything except the trees they were removing. In some cases trees were removed in very tight quarters but they carefully roped off the sections before they were felled to allow a controlled fall. They kept the work areas constantly cleaned up and spent over an hour cleaning up completely when the job was done. My wife and I are completely pleased with their work.

They arrived on time, and cleaned thoroughly as they worked.

I first contacted this company on about Feb. 8. I let them know I had a small job - one tree. They called me back a day or two later to arrange to come give an estimate. That was done on the 10th, but it had taken long enough for them to get back to me that I contacted another company in the meantime, and since the second company was coming Monday, I decided it would be sensible to get an estimate from them, too, and then choose between them. While talking to the second company, I realized there were questions I should have asked Atlanta Tree Arbors' representative, and this is where my dissatisfaction begins. I wanted to be sure that clean-up and stump removal were included in this price, or to find out what it would cost to add them. I called their main office, and was quickly brushed off. I was told I would have to ask my "salesperson," and was told I should have his number from his card. They did not seem interested in assisting me even so far as to give me his number themselves. This is a small issue, but should have been a signal of a level of disengagement with their customers that later became clear. I called the "salesperson" Friday afternoon (the 17th), and, on getting voice mail, left a message requesting a call to discuss questions about the estimate. I called again Monday afternoon, since I had not heard from him, and left my number, repeating it to be sure that it was clear. I have not to this day (Feb. 27) heard from this company again, and the delay while I was giving Atlanta Tree Arbors the chance to come through made it ultimately impossible for the second company to schedule me in a timely fashion either. I ended up using a third company with which I was very pleased. I feel that Atlanta Tree Arbors wasted my time, gave me disrespect, and were unprofessional in the conduct of their business. Their "salesperson" was unresponsive, and their main office regarded it as my job to connect with him. I would neither use nor recommend this company.

They arrived promptly in the morning and completed their work efficiently. They left the property spotless! I am very pleased with the service they performed as well as my overall experience with everyone in this company.

The guys did a great job. They showed up on time, did all the work we had talked about during the estimate, and had everything cleared up before they left. I was happy that they were careful about what they decided to trim, so the end result was very natural. I would definitely use them again.

We were very happy with the work and would consider using their services again.
