Brian and his crew at Atlanta Tree Arbors did an excellent job trimming trees along our two story roof line. The roof is now clear of overhanging limbs. They also removed dead limbs from a large pine tree. The crew worked diligently until job was done and did a great job of cleaning up. We are repeat customers and would recommend Atlanta Tree Arbors.

Brian did an excellent job of removing the dead trees from my back yard. The crew was very professional efficient and courteous. While there he also removed dangerous trees from neighbors on either side of my property. The pricing was very reasonable. I’d really Brian and his crew to any e needing large trees removed. I give this company 5 Stars.

Brian the owner of Atlanta Tree Arbors showed up the same day I reached out to provide a VERY reasonable quote. He had a crew come out the next day and perform the work. The crew was professional and did great work. They also cut the limbs into fire wood for me and stacked it neatly. After the work was complete they did a WONDERFUL job cleaning up and left my yard in a neater condition than when they arrived. If I need tree trimming the future I will definitely be reaching out!

Brian Hagar and his crew at Atlanta Tree Arbors were excellent. I will use again when I need tree work. I spoke to 5 companies and got 4 quotes. Only Brian and one other company took the time to really listen and advise me on accomplishing our goals. His quote was among the most reasonable. He demonstrated his knowledge as an arborist during the consultation. He personally showed up and led his crew. They were professional and careful in their work and thoroughly cleaned up. We had five trees removed, 4 others trimmed, and a lot of vines/privet removed around others. I highly recommend.

Atlanta Tree Arbors was prompt, thorough, and did exactly as instructed. Could not be more pleased with the outcome. Their work changed the entire feel of our backyard as it reduced limb clutter, reduced risk of dangerous limbs falling, and improved sunlight.

Atlanta Tree Arbors is top notch - skilled, reliable, and well priced (I had gotten 3 other quotes). They cut down 5 trees and he also trimmed 5 other trees for us. One of the trees was basically dead and very large and at the top of a tall hill, so if not handled correctly, could have fallen either on the road or our home. They had to rope off from other trees to slowly cut it down (because of rot). Another, also very large tree that they cut down, was growing very close to the house. They did a great job trimming the trees - the limbs they chose to cut off was perfect and the trees looked great after they trimmed. Both my husband and I are very happy with the outcome.

I had several trees removed, under brush and downed trees cleared away and stumps grind. Each time they were out to my home they were prompt and did an excellent job.
Description of Work: I had Atlanta Tree Arbors out to my property about a month ago to remove 6 large trees and open up an area that had a lot of under brush. I also, had them come back out to my property 4 weeks later to remove more trees. Each time they were prompt and did an excellent job. It was a pleasure to work with Brian, he demonstrated great work ethic and professionalism. I feel that their price for the job was fair.

Brian was a nice guy. He responded to my first phone call and set up a date and time to do the estimate and actually showed up when he said he would, unlike some other companies that I tried to or did get quotes from. When it came to actually doing the work, though, he had to postpone at least 4 or 5 times. Every time, though, he called to tell me he was postponing and never left me hanging. Here are the reasons that I wouldn't hire them again: 1. The work took 6 days to complete. All 3 trees laid in my front yard for 4 days before they came to pick them up. The stumps were ground on day 6. 2. Brian was not there for the work to be performed, which was a problem because only one of the guys that was there could speak English well enough to communicate properly 3. Brian asked if I wanted any of the wood chips left in my yard for mulch. I gave a quick and clear answer of no, yet I still have large piles of wood chips in my yard where the stumps were. 4. I asked for a written quote on at least two different occasions and never received one.

Called Brian as we have a tree that has branches over the house. He came to look the next day, saying that it would be next week sometime but he would keep us in the loop. He called back an hour later, saying he may be able to do it that evening. Call back a little bit later again saying that evening was not going to work, would Saturday (the next day) work. They arrived 30 minutes before they said they would, did a fantastic job, cleaned up after themselves (and cleaned some leaves away) and left. All in all, a fantastic job. Thank You!!

Brian and his team are real pros. My yard is very strange and they used all their skills to get things done! The back yard has a 35 degree slope making heavy equipment use impossible. The team dropped the trees without incident and did no unexpected damage. Very impressive. Brian was friendly and responsive and his team was nothing short of amazing. The only thing I found lacking was suggestions as to what to do with the tree waste that was not removed. My back yard property is filled with large tree waste that could not be removed because of size. I am relegated to chopping up what I can an moving it further back into the property. I understand that there was no alternative because of the slope and grade of the land but as I say, I would have liked some suggestions. I heartily recommend Atlanta Tree Arbors. They are cautious, professional and skilled. My yard was a real test and they passed with flying colors. Thanks Brian!

A limb fell out of the tree, hit a pole, and hit a power line! It started huge a fire on the street! The police came and blocked off the street, and the power company came out. The machine that they used to grind the tree limbs, the wood chipper, caught on fire and their truck caught on fire too! Soon, everything was safe and the fire was put out. When the power company said everything was okay, the three men went right back to work. They had to get another truck and chipper. The u-haul came to drag away the burnt truck and the chipper. They kept on working until 8 pm that night. They got the job done! Later, their insurance company came and took a report to make sure everything was okay. The police took a report, too. The tree limb hit a low power line and the power line snapped. Previously, I had other companies come out and give me an estimate to cut down that tree, but they said it was too close to the power line, and no one else wanted to do it. Atlanta Tree Arbors did one heck of a job! They went over and above to make sure they job was done. I highly recommend them!

I did not have as positive of an experience as other customers which is unfortunate because there are so many positive reviews for Atlanta Tree Arbors. Maybe it's because I did not get Brian or Mark for my job. Instead, I got Rodolfo Soto. Rodolfo's name hadn't shown up in any reviews prior to the work being done, but since all the other workers' reviews were positive I thought I'd give Rodolfo a try. Initial interactions with Rodolfo were great because he was very prompt at returning my messages and he had a very pleasant demeanor. His team showed up a little late on the 1st day of the job, but I didn't think much of it. Halfway through the job of cutting down 2 large pines and 1 large sycamore Rodolfo pulls me aside and tells me his team encountered some difficulties with the sycamore and asked me for $200 more due to the added labor and time of his crew. He said it would help his team a lot, but if I wanted to I could keep the initial quote of $3400 (that doesn't include the $200 for someone else to grind the stumps who Rodolfo subcontracted). I was not happy about it, but I agreed to the extra $200 because I figure they'd do a better job if I agreed. At the end of the first day (Friday) he said he had an emergency job the next morning (Saturday), but said he was very likely to be done by noon and would be back at my house in the afternoon. I then texted Rodolfo at 11am on Saturday to confirm his arrival. I got a text saying the tree was big and he'd be at my house on Monday. I'm not sure if that other job was a true emergency or not, but I feel like you need to focus on one job before moving onto another. In any case, no apologies were given by Rodolfo, which increased my frustration with the way things were going. Rodolfo and his crew came Monday and was close to finishing, but some rain held them up. That evening Rodolfo asked for a large payment to help cover expenses as his crew was nearly done. At that point he asked for $3800 of the $4000 that I agreed to earlier. I was very confused what he meant because he asked for $3600 halfway through the job which I agreed to (after the pre-job quote of $3400). He said I heard incorrectly. With a little arguing we settled on me paying $300 more at $3700. This is when I got really upset since I felt like he was taking advantage of my patience. At that moment I told him to please fix the small stone retaining wall before his crew leaves Tuesday afternoon. He told me he warned me before the job started that the yard would suffer some damage. I then corrected him to say he told me my GRASS may suffer some damage, but not the structures in my yard. He agreed to fix the retaining wall at that point. When I got home on Tuesday his crew was finished and gone. I then saw the "repaired" retaining wall which consisted of all the damaged stones being loosely stacked on top of each other. I could have done that myself. The retaining wall was totally compromised. I expected more from these professionals. By then I was super upset and just wanted the whole job to be over with, but the stump grinders still had to come. The stump grinders came on Thursday. I left the $200 payment before the job started because I didn't want to miss any more days from work and I figured stump grinding was a pretty straight forward job. Well the stump grinders grinded the stumps, but left three gigantic piles of mulch. I texted Rodolfo to see if they were going to remove the large piles of mulch, but his prompt responsiveness disappeared and I never heard back from him. I feel like Rodolfo put on a very pleasant facade to get my business, but his courteousness progressively faded as the job neared completion. Rodolfo seemed to employ 'bait and switch' tactics and his degrading attitude by the end of the job was unsettling. I don't consider him a trustworthy individual so I urge extreme caution for anyone who decides to work with him in the future. Hopefully he'll prove that my unpleasant experience was an isolated one.

They were great. I had 3 dead/dying trees removed in April 2014. I scheduled only the removal of these 3 as we could not tell the overall appearance of the other 3 trees as they were very close to each other. These were my "privacy fence" near the property line. We decided to let the other 3 trees remain and see how they did once the first 3 trees were removed. In October, I had them remove the other 3 trees as their appearance had not improved and I decided to re-landscape that entire area. They were prompt and professional. They removed all of these 70' tall trees and ground the stumps, spreading the sawdust around the area. I have recommended them to my HOA and would use them again.

Crew was professional, Trees had to be climbed and cut from the top and roped to the ground as there was not enough room to just cut and drop the whole tree. They were fast, mulched limbs and debris and hauled away anything too large to mulch. Clean up was very good. I would highly recommend this service!

The owner, Dale, was very professional over the phone, giving me a ballpark estimate based on my description and then meeting me a few days later when I was ready to proceed with a firm quote. He walked through everything with me, letting me know where something I was considering would add significant cost and offering alternatives that would cost less. After I got estimates from other companies, I called him back and scheduled a time after Thanksgiving. He called me back the next day saying that his best crew was now available for before the holidays if I wanted to get it done faster. He came back with the crew and walked through everything with them to make sure they understood exactly what I wanted and what my concerns were. The trick here was that I had hardwoods that were in the middle of the pines, sometimes actually wrapped around them, that I didn't want hurt; a medium sized sweetgum in the front and a small maple and cherry in the back. They got everything down and out without so much as nicking the bark of the hardwoods. The crew lead 'Gonzalo' was an airborne artist with a chainsaw directing a crew of 5-7 men that reminded me of a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Gonzalo made the cuts and pointed where he wanted the logs to go; nothing that hit the ground stayed there longer than a few minutes. Everything was either chipped or cut in long lengths and stacked out front for pick-up. It had rained the day before and they didn't want to damage the backyard so they HANDCARRIED the logs out. These were 14-16 inch pines cut in minimum 8 ft lengths; that was not easy to do. They got everything done in 1 day and the stump grinder came the next day. The logs were picked up within 1 day as well. They far exceeded my expectations and did it for $2,000 less than the other company I interviewed. I'm EXTREMELY happy with the whole experience!
