They did a great job. Khristof came to give me an estimate and due to another cancellation was able to do the job the same day!!! His crew showed up on time, worked very efficiently and extremely fast. It was actually very entertaining to watch them work with all the theatrics. Wish I had a video camera handy. They were in and out in about an hour. I had some other estimates from others and they wanted to charge 3 times as much and were booking 2-3 weeks out. Needless to say, I am very happy.

This team did an excellent job and it was a joy to work with Rodolfo Soto. He came on Friday to free the cars and removed almost one entire tree by himself. On Monday, the entire crew came, finished the job in the front yard and removed the big pine from the back yard. They cleaned up everything and removed all traces of tree limbs and branches from the yard. They ground up everything except some for some of the big tree trunk parts. They took those huge pieces away instead. When they were done, they cleaned up the yard, raked the grass, and blew off the driveway. Our yard looked immaculate. They were extremely good at their jobs, very professional, and very courteous. They also worked quickly and completed the job without any hang ups.
Description of Work: Atlanta Tree Arbors removed a big tree limb that had fallen onto our cars into the driveway so that the really damaged car could be towed to the garage. It then removed the entire tree. In addition, they also removed a big pine tree that was really leaning from our backyard.

The company was prompt and did an excellent job. The owner, Brian Hager, was available at all times and made sure the job was done right and completed on time.
Description of Work: Removed two very large oak trees within 10 feet of our house. Had to have the city take down lines on our house and the next-door neighbor's house. Ground up stump on one tree. The trees were topped and the electricity was back on by 3:30 p.m. The trees were down by the end of the day. The next day was spent removing very large sections of the tree.

Well it started out great almost to the very end. The owner and I spoke and setup a time for an estimate on what I needed done. He came out and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He gave me the estimate and I was surprised because I thought it was going to be more than what he quoted me. I then started adding on additional work because of his good prices! I already had heavy logs cut up in my back yard when I moved into my new home. He then went and treated and marked the trees that will be cut down. We scheduled the apt for the next week. The crew came, started working, it was very interesting watching them work, and they did a good job but had to come back the next day. The head of the crew negotiated additional services to remove the logs that were already there and to basically clear the whole back yard and make it very neat for additional $150 which I agreed to. They came back the next day and it was raining, awhile after the head of the crew knocked on the door and started explaining to me they ran out of room and cannot finish the additional work for the $150 so will take off $50!! My husband overheard him talking and came outside. I went back in the house but my husband proceeded to talk to him and said that was not the agreement! He was very understanding about the situation, he said you are right and we didn?t finish what I said we were so took off another $50 so in total we got $100 taken off for what they didn?t finish. He said they are in the area a lot so one day he would see get permission and comeback and finish for $150. I agreed. Well about a day or 2 later after it stopped raining, we walked on the side of the house and that whole side grass was pulled up and muddy a mess!! They pulled the extra-large truck on the side of the house in the grass instead of staying on the driveway like they did the before!!! I immediately called the owner and repeatedly got the answering machine, I left several messages to no avail, and about maybe 2-3 weeks I finally got him and he stated he was out of town and will call me back when he got back but never heard from anyone again. The work they did do was excellent, and I have even since referred them to another person, but I would have liked a better outcome in my situation

I had a 50 foot northern pine that was struck by lightning and lost several limbs. Atlanta Tree Arbors quoted for removal of tree and the cut up limbs from the lightning strike They were flexible in their schedule to complete the work the next day. They were prompt, professional and quick. The tree and all the cut up limbs were gone and they finished clean up in less than two hours. The service was outstanding and I would highly recommend them for any tree removal services required.

I was contacted by the owner, Brian, within 24 hours of my request on Angie's List. Brian provided a quote within 48 hours of 1st contact. I got several quotes, and their price was the most competitive. It was difficult scheduling the date for the work to commence due to the weather, but Brian was always responsive when I called. During the many phone conversations, I added a few services such as removing the tree stumps. and we agreed on a price. When the work commenced, the supervisor on the job was unaware that removing the stumps was included in the scope of work. When he verified it with the owner, he did not remember either until I reminded him about the conversation we had on the phone. He admitted that he had forgotten, but did recall the conversation, and he honored the quoted price. They were prompt, worked professionally, and quickly, and they left everything neat and clean. It did take 2 extra days for the subcontractor to come and remove the tree roots, and the truck to pick up the remaining large logs, but it wasn't a major inconvenience for us.. Brian, the owner, was easy to work with, responsive, and fair.

The Atlanta Tree Arbor team showed up on time and got to work quickly. The maple was down and the massive oak was almost completely down by lunch time without the use of a crane (wow!). Brian's team very effectively and safely roped the trees down. The crew (approximately 11 guys) immediately cut up branches and chipped wood as each piece came down. It was like watching a well tuned machine in progress; they were extremely efficient. The sweet gums were taken down in the afternoon quickly, safely, and efficiently. The crew neatly stacked oak and maple wood in my yard as well as my neighbor's yard (that we have requested to keep). Everything else had been loaded onto a truck for haul away and the chipped wood was hauled away on a separate truck. They also cleaned up the back yard areas where the trees had come down and picked up stray branches/chips that had fallen from hauling everything to the trucks. The team was also very professional and checked in with us a few times to make sure we didn't have any questions or concerns. Needless to say, my neighbors and I were extremely impressed with Atlanta Tree Arbor and we will use them for tree work again in the future.

I purchased the big deal and they were fine. They were very good. I think they were able to cut down the tree for that price, I don't remember paying any extras. Their price was very fair and they did not leave a mess. They cleaned up everything, every bit of trimming and everything that was left over from cutting down the tree they took.

Removed one large oak in back yard and pruned two large oaks in front yard. All and all a good job. A few big dents in the yard where the large pieces of wood landed that I will have to level out, but the work I will have to to level this out is worth the price. Next closest price was twice as much.

I contacted this tree service because of the ratings on Angie's list and because they indicate that they service my area. I had contact with them last Monday the 7th to schedule an estimate and spoke to a very nice representative who took my address, asked what work I wanted completed, and asked if I needed to present for them to give me an estimate. I told them that I did not and then I was told I would receive an estimate in the next couple of days after they sent someone out. This was not a big deal as this work(removing three Bradford Pears and some stump grinding) was not an emergency. I waited an entire week with no phone call or any type of follow up from the company. When I called to inquire, on the 14th, they acted as if it was a problem to come to my area and said they didn't typically service Rockdale County. I asked the representative why they had on Angie's list that they did, and he told me it was not a problem and he would have someone call me the next day to set it up. No phone call as of yet. I am sorry, do you want my money or not? If you don't service my area, then 1) don't advertise that you do, and 2) Just tell me that and we can both move on. Your company left me hanging for a week. If you are over booked just call me and tell me that. It's not that hard, and I am not unreasonable. I just thought people should know about my experience with their responsiveness before wasting the amount of time I did. And also, if you live in the Rockdale area, I guess that is not an area they service.

They arrived at 8:30 just as they had promised. Within 30 minutes the first 5 trees were down. One of the trees was a 3' diameter poplar, 80' tall. This tree took them about an hour to take down. Because the tree was taller and larger than any other trees in our yard there was no way to ease it to the ground so holes were left where the trunks landed. They were ready with rakes and shovels and repaired the yard within minutes after the tree sections came down. Three trees came down in the back yard that were all dead or dying. All of these were threatening the house and inery close proximity to our deck and the childrens tree house. They took all 3 down with no damage to the deck or the house. These three were cut into firewood and piled neatly next to the deck. All of the branches and smaller limbs were chipped and the waste hauled away. Debris and leaves were raked up and hauled away as well. The only portion of the job not done yet is hauling away the 20' sections of the 80' poplar in the front yard, and then the stump grinding. The stump grinding is scheduled for tomorrow, and the trunks are supposed to be hauled away later on today. I would HIGHLY recommend Atlanta Tree Arbors for anyone needing a high quality, and professional job done removing trees.
Description of Work: Initially they were planning on cutting down 8 trees, but we found 2 more that were in danger in falling so we negotiated to have those removed as well for a total of 10 trees.

We called them late on a Friday and they said they could come by the next day to quote the work but we wouldn't be home, so they instead agreed to come the following Monday. We needed a huge dead branch cut that was hanging over our roof, along with 5 other branches hanging over the roof and general pruning. Not only was the quote very reasonable for the work that was to be done, but then they called us the next day and said they had someone cancel. So what we thought would take about 3 weeks to get done was done the day after the quote was given. Excellent all around experience. I had narrowed it down to them and Northside if anyone is interested, but would highly recommend them (Northside didn't come out as it was done before they had a chance).

Dale came out to give estimate and made good suggestions regarding which trees should definitely be removed and which trees can wait until I can afford to remove them. His crew came out when my husband was home and completed most of the job. The crew misunderstood that a tree in the front yard needed to be cut down and trimmed it instead. The crew came back the next day and completed the job. The last tree took out my mailbox but the crew replaced it with a new box before they left. The only issue is that the whole trees were dragged from the back yard and all remained until the logging truck came to pick them up the next week, creating patches of missing and dead grass in the process. The grass will need to be replaced with sod.

I'll start with the good, which in truth was VERY GOOD: Very responsive -- in fact, they were the only Angie's List provider that actually called back. Very punctual: right on time, right when they said they'd be there! Removing six trees in a heavily landscaped backyard -- with no damage -- was very impressive, too. The only thing that takes away from my otherwise high praise, is the fact that they left three HUGE sections of tree trunk in the street in front of my neighbor's front yard (and partially on their grass) for three days. It took two phone calls to get them to come out and remove the trunks. Unsightly and unsafe for all the kids in our neighborhood who like to climb on everything. From reading other reviews, I have to believe that this was an anomaly, but it really shouldn't have taken two calls to get the situation corrected. Let's just call this one an A-, which is still very good.

We had purchased a Big Deal $199 for $400 of Tree Service. The service went very well and we were really pleased with the results. We had a very large pine tree that was between us and our neighbor. They did end up taking out the neighbors mailbox but they went right over to our neighbor and explained what had happened and replaced the mailbox right away with an equal if not better quality mailbox. They did the job quickly, they were on time, left the rest of the rest unharmed, and clean up was awesome. We would use them again.

This is why we joined Angie's list. Sometimes we pay a little extra for a good, thorough service crew. We were not disappointed at all with Atlanta Tree Arbors. Dale promptly wrote a free estimate on 6-8-13. The only glitch with having the work done was with the weather. It seemed to rain almost every day or two. Still, the team came out early this past Tuesday to conduct the service. All of the workers were wearing company t-shirts for identification. The crew were very respectful of our neighbor's property lines. None of our trees crossed the neighboring property lines. The pine logs were cut in segments and loaded onto the truck (pulpwood). The wood chipper processed all of the other trees into mulch. The crew raked up all the leaves and tree debris and left our yard clean. Today, the pulpwood truck returned to retrieve the remaining tree logs. I have already recommended this company to a FB friend.

Perfect Job. This was a difficult job, as we live in the city, and the house is up on a hill, without access to using a crane, and parking on the street is difficult. The crew came in and set up their plan. The trees were taken down, the area around them was not ruined. One of them was over 65 feet tall and close to a house and roof and nothing was damaged, Another one was again 63 feet tall and between two houses, and again the limbs were carefully lowered and disposed of. The smaller trees were also carefully removed. The workers were professional. The clean up was professional, and my yard looked great when they left. He stuck to his estimate, and worked hard to schedule us quickly so that both neighbors could be home when the work was being done as this was a shared project. Great job. Would highly recommend them.
