Atlanta Peach Movers

The guys did an exceptional job, they were careful not to damage the piano. It cost me $600 to move from Stone Mountain to Lawrenceville.

They were very efficient and had a good system in place. They had a team leader and everyone on the team had a specific job to do. I feel they did a very good job.

7 person crew with two trucks moved our things from a rental property to our new home. The rental property is on a very steep lot and the crew did great. No damage to any furniture or box. The crew was very professional, introducing themselves with a handshake. They worked hard and only took a break for lunch which we provided. They were very thankful and hard working. They unloaded the trucks and were flexible with moving furniture around until we were happy with the placement in our new house. The job took half the time as estimated!

I was pleased with their services and will use them again.

The lady packers arrived at the appointed time, looked over what was to be done, and began wrapping and packing. They did a wonderful job. We had NO breakage, not even one wine glass. The loaders then arrived and began to load everything onto the two U-Pack Moving trailers. The men worked quickly and loaded the trailers better than we ever could have. I had a difficult time staying ahead of them (packing). They were hard workers and friendly. They answered my questions and never seemed to be carelessly just throwing things onto the trailers. I provided them with lunch and water and they did a great job. Arriving in the Houston area, and unloading, we found that we did have some furniture scratches and but they were minimal. I was very impressed with the Atlanta Peach Movers and do recommend them without reservation.

We got them off of Angie's List and we weren't satisfied with them. We scheduled them for a weekend to move our things from one apartment to the other. They were supposed to come at 2'O clock, but we got a call from them at 1:30 saying that they wouldn't be able to move the things that day. We had to do the lease thing and many things were due from our side. We had called and spoken to a senior person. We had made the payment already and nobody was there to even talk to us. We had made the advance payment and we did not know how things were going to be done if we used someone else. We left tons of voice mails and nobody called us. They turned up in the night at around 8'O clock. It was very difficult as nobody was there to listen to us. Once they turned up to the house, they did everything very quickly. It was actually a torture for us. Their price was quite high as well. I wasn't satisfied with the way they tortured us. The quality of the people who moved the things was too good. They didn't respond and they were not punctual at all. We would not use them again in the future.

They were fantastic all around. They were very courteous, very polite and very kind. They were extremely careful with our stuff. I would definitely recommend them. Their price was very competitive. I remember that we were really impressed with their price.

Infuriating. We paid a premium price ($2500) to move our small 1000 sq ft condo 3.5 hours away for the express reason that we've had abysmal experiences with movers (we've moved cross country 5 times in the past 4 years), and we expected Atlanta Peach Movers to act like professionals. We were wrong. We hear nothing from them until moving day, when they call to tell us they are lost. Mind you: we live in THE CITY OF ATLANTA, near a well-known intersection. I assumed they could have used GPS or known the city better...since they are called "ATLANTA Peach Movers". I digress. They show up more than an hour late but get to work. One dude looks strung out on drugs. One of the men on the crew made a suggestive comment to me out of earshot of my husband, which was disgusting and unprofessional. The truck driver informs us that, rather than delivering our things the next day (as we'd expressly contracted), he would be making a stop and delivering in two days. I told him no, that we'd be finding a new moving company if that was the case. We have an infant and that would mean my husband and I both have to take another day off work, spend another night in a hotel on our dime, and generally be grossly inconvenienced--just so Atlanta Peach Movers can make another pickup (and make more $$$). Another consequence is that our belongings (once on the truck) get pulled off the truck so the other load can be placed on, then our stuff goes back on. This is not good. So the driver called dispatch, and returns, telling us that everything is OK: our things will be delivered first thing the next morning, as planned, and they would not be making the extra stop to pick up the other load. Next day: we don't hear from them....we call the driver, who says he is at the pickup that they'd previously said they wouldn't be making. He says he'll arrive around noon. Noon comes and goes, then dispatch estimates he'll arrive around 2 pm at the very latest....etc. This goes on. The driver tells us that Dispatch is responsible for the delay. So we call Dispatch....who tells us to talk with the driver about why it's delayed. It's now 9:45 pm and they've just arrived. In the meantime, we had to get a hotel room because we have an infant who needs to sleep and all we have is an empty house with none of our belongings and zero credible information about when to expect it. The driver only brought one other man to unload, and they have to unload another load in our street before unloading our things....which will take at least 3 hours....which takes us well past midnight when my husband is waiting for this unload to be completed. BOTTOM LINE: Atlanta Peach Movers lied and I am furious at the inconvenience and disrespect they've shown. Especially after paying premium pricing to avoid the baloney that you *expect* from cheap movers. These guys are no different: save your money. If you're going to get screwed, at least get screwed out of less money and go with a less expensive schmuckey mover.

They arrived on time 9:30 am and exceeded my expectations. We were moving from a 4 bed with one bonus room we used as a bedroom to a 4 bedroom home. They were careful, coordinated and courteous. By 11:30 am only a few large appliances remained in the house. Our move was from Buford to Lawrenceville. They arrived to our home in Lawrenceville and by 3:45pm the team leader was taking our credit card information.

From start to finish.....Excellent!

The crews that picked up and delivered the furniture did an excellent job. The were, professional, curteous and respectful. The furniture arrived at the destination with no visable signs of damage. They did an excellent job. Part of the experience, however, was very poor. On the date I was to recive my furniture, I had not received a call telling me what time to expect the truck. After 4 calls, I learned they had not yet shipped the furniture. It took an additional 5 days and a lot of angry calls to have it shipped. My sales rep was very apologetic. I asked to talk with the owner; he never called me to discuss the issue. They made a conscious decision not to ship my furniture. Not only did they not consult with me about that decision, they failed to even inform me. Had I not called, I might have waited all day not knowing. They need to understand that setting and meeting expectations and working with their customer is important. They did a very good job of moving my furniture but I would be very careful to insure that both you and they understand expectations.

They were great from the first phone call, follow up before the move, giving me an accurate estimate and guiding me to be sure I included everything that needed to be moved. Once they got there to move everything, they did a great job of wrapping everything up to keep it from damage, being respectful of my place by putting down mats to protect the floors, and did it as efficiently as possible. They were very respectful and professional.

They were punctual and fairly professional. They got it done in the prescribed time. They were efficient.

We had 4 guys show up on a Wednesday. They were very prompt, clean, professional and nice. They packed every item very securely with padded cloth. They loaded up the truck very carefully and with respect for our items. They worked very well as a team which was pleasant to see. We moved from a one bedroom apt to another one bedroom apt so we do not have a alot of furniture, but what we have needs to last us a while. It took about 2 hours to complete the moving process. We met the movers on Friday to unload. They were on time, clean, professional and nice. It took about an hour or so to complete the process of unloading.

After leaving messages with some local (Tidewater Virginia) firms and not getting prompt responses, we tried for some that were local on the far end (Atlanta). Atlanta Peach Movers replied right away, and the ensuing conversation by email and phone was very helpful--everything was arranged quickly, with a service date that was only a week or so out, even given that our load would be small for folks who move whole houses. The truck arrived right on time, and the men were polite and efficient as they wrapped things up and took them out. The antiques were handled with appropriate care. Our daughters said everything arrived in good order, though there were a couple of problems at both stops: At the first, in Greensboro, NC, the delivery went fine until our daughter mentioned the chest of drawers that was to be picked up and taken on to Atlanta: the men said they had no record of that; but it had been part of the plan all along that three pieces would go off the truck there and one more would be added (originally it was to be a sofa, but the chest was substituted and we had notified the Atlanta office of the change). They did not take the chest. That delivery was quite late in the evening on Saturday, so the second was to happen the next day or Monday, in Atlanta/Decatur. A morning delivery time was given to our second daughter by phone, but it was late afternoon before the truck arrived, with no updates. The price did turn out to be a little less than had been quoted. No feedback was requested by the company, and the issues encountered did not seem to warrant any serious complaint on our part, given the overall good experience, so we did not report the pickup and timing problems to their office.

They were fantastic to work with for this out of state move. It was a positive experience from beginning to end. The crew was polite, pleasant and true pros. They took great care with packing of art, lamps and furniture and equal care when moving boxes I had packed. A real plus was having the same crew at our out of state destination. There was no damage on either end - to houses or goods. Best moving experience my husband and I have ever had.

They were awesome. They did everything but the packing. Everything was perfect after they moved and they were awesome. They used rollers to put down all your stuff and they covered the furniture. Everything that they did was awesome. They quoted me a price and I ended up paying less because of the weight. They were just very professional. I recommended them to a couple of other people and they used them too.

They did everything that was expected of them and more. Took time and care to pack up the furnishing--and all made it to the new place with no damage. Throughout the move, they would ask how things were going. If the move was going as expected. Afterwards, they walked me through the house to see if everything was where it should be, if the furniture was undamaged, etc.

Atlanta Peach Movers was very professional from the Jim McArthur provided an estimate to Cruz and his crew of six friendly and hard-working guys packed and unloaded two trucks at our new home. The movers worked very quickly and Cruz was mindful of our estimated timeline and budget, setting expectations along the way. We discovered a few items that were left in the attic spaces but operations manager (Scott) immediately dispatched a truck to our home to remove the boxes and deliver with our scheduled load the following day. This company clearly strives to provide excellent customer service and I found that committment upheld by the front-line movers which was impressive.

It went very well. I was expecting the service to cost a little more than they actually charged. They were very nice. They did not lollygag at all while getting the job done. It was very nice during a stressful time.

Estimator, Ron Skinner, arrived at the appointed time. Reviewed how APM trains their workers, estimates weight / cost and the process to move. Very patient to answer all questions and give advise. Detailed estimate of weight and cost given ($4,200) and scheduled to requested Thursday packing in Atlanta and Friday delivery in Charlotte area. Movers arrived as requested 9:00 with 6 people and finished by 3:00 (as we requested) so we could drive to Charlotte that evening. All furniture was wrapped and taped to prevent damage. Boxes were clearly marked. Packers did not damage the walls or floors. When done, Terrence, the Supervisor, walked through the house with us to audit that everything was packed and clean-up was done. Moving is not easy when you have been a home for almost 20 years and APM did a great job of keeping our stress levels in check. We felt confident that we were in good hands. The movers arrived Friday before noon as estimated with the SAME packers that did the packing including Terrance coordinating the activities. Performed a walkthrough of where we wanted the furniture located and they were especially sensitive to our hardwood floors and newly painted walls. It was amazing that Terrence could recall where the furniture was located in the Atlanta home and how to reconfigure in our new home. Everything was orderly and the work was finished by 5:00. Completed a final walk through and even rearranged furniture for us when asked to get a different perspective. I was given the final cost prior to unpacking from Ron and it was $3,625, not the $4,200 originally estimated. Very happy about saving $575 from the original budget. We chose Atlanta Peach Movers because they do not use contract workers, have an excellent training program and the did not share the load with another customer (major reason for loosing items). Excellent company from start to finish. Highly recommended for local or long distance moving.

I thought the pricing was fair. They also took some of our stuff to storage in the storage fields. They were very reasonable. They were punctual and very efficient. I plan to use their services again in the future.

They were amazing, they did a really good job. They worked hard the entire time and were great with packing. They did not slow down as the day worn on. They worked through their lunches.
