About us

Atlanta Peach Movers is a premier full-service moving company in Atlanta. We offer both residential and commercial and moving services for local, long-distance, and international moves. We also offer packing and storage services. Atlanta Peach Movers have been in the Atlanta moving industry for over 30 years. Over this period of time, we have built a successful business based on a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. We constantly try to improve ourselves as a company every day, whether it is how we work with customers or how we give back to the community. At Atlanta Peach Movers, we believe in quality service. That is why we only hire the most dedicated employees. It is easy to find someone who is merely hard-working, but may not be very pleasant to work with. To ensure a positive experience for every customer, we hire not only the most hard-working movers in Atlanta, but also the most courteous and respectful. All 150 members of our team are full-time; we do not employ casual labor or temporary work. Our employees are true professionals and will show up to your home on time, in uniform, and ready to work. However, what truly sets our Atlanta moving team apart from other moving companies in Atlanta is our training. Before they are sent to handle your belongings, every one of our Atlanta Movers must go through an intensive training program at our in-house Atlanta Peach University, one of the few facilities of its kind in the country. During the training, our employees learn correct packing and loading methods, and practice moving real pieces of furniture from a replica home in our warehouse. Employees also complete on-going training throughout the year. Additional email - [email protected].

Not even worth one star- I reached out to peach movers after many quotes later for my recent move to Georgia from South Carolina. Felicia, initially came off as very understanding and accommodating. I mentioned I wanted a full service package for under 5k since that was our budget, and she came back with a quote of 5300 for 5200lbs. We secured the move with a 500 deposit, thinking we were going to get movers to pack our furniture, dissemble, and resemble and unpack. I asked her multiple times if we will get all these things as we had other obligations the next day after our move. We were on a time crunch. I agreed to pay that amount thinking we were going to be covered. The movers came the morning it was scheduled and started to pack everything, initially everything seemed like it was going well. After half the kitchen appliances and dishes were packed, the main lady McBride that was running the show says, we don’t have enough boxes, the heavy duty ones that we need for the heavier appliances. I said ok, I’ll send my husband at first she ordered 6 and we were helping her as it was already 4 pm and there was so much left to pack, and with their 10 hour work limit, she didn’t want to come back the next day to finish the job and have the move delayed. Understandable, my husband and I started helping the movers. My husband even had to show them how to unhook the tv from the mount. Anyways, after those 6 boxes were done, the garage was also left with more decor and kitchen glasses. My husband had to go back to Home Depot and get 16 more boxes. We helped them back all those boxes again because time was running out and they would go over their 10 hour work day. The lady called her boss and said the team wanted to complete the packing today and exceed an hour extra from their 10 work load and that happened because she would leave randomly for a smoke breaks. Anyways, this all happened on a Friday and she was so ready to leave at the end of the day, that she kept missing a lot of the information that was required to sign before she left. Once they left at the end of the day, they have to take down all the cardboard that they put up with blue tape. They were in such a rush to leave that they just yanked it off the ways and took off our paint in multiple locations. They also left a few dents from furniture banging on our walls. Threw all my liquids in one box my expensive shampoos that leaked all over the box which I advised in the beginning I was going to pack myself and my kitchen dry rices and lentils all leaked as well cause she just threw all my containers in one box. Next day, they arrived and before they started I informed them of the paint chipping at the old place and I guess it rubbed the main lady the wrong way and she was kind of stand offish and started giving me attitude, like sorry for trying to persevere the integrity of my new home. So they got moving stuff into the house and just started leave the boxes in random corners, so I asked if they were gonna start unpacking it and the lady said that’s not apart of the package. I had to call the person I was in contact with the whole time and asked to confirm this. The movers plus some delivery we had was hectic and I hung up. Told the lady, that when I said full service confirmed it was everything, and then over the phone started talking about a white glove service, which was never mentioned in our phone call and over emails. It was a first for me to hear about this white glove service that’s NOW A SEPARATE service from what I wanted apparently. So I was fuming at that time but kept my calm. I told her it’s fine and I’ll do it all, not to worry about it cause they wanted an extra 60 or some dollars an hour to unload my stuff that I thought was included in my full service package. Then, McBride the lady in charge started making these comments about how to I want everything centered for my furniture like I was asking for a lot. If my fixture above my table is not in the center of the table, it’ll hit someone in the head. I paid for them to move my furniture and just asking them adjust it to center, the lady was complaining the whole time Same thing happened with my adjustable bed, the man they sent to take down my main master bed had to put it up and attached the wires in the wrong remote connection so my foot base wasn’t moving. Then I had to call the guys back up because they left the rugs on the side of the room instead of under neath the bed. Saturday was one of the worst days of my life, a company that was reassuring me a seamless move, hands free turned out to be a joke. Oh, the cherry on top mid move the lady said when I asked about unpacking that we need to pay. It’s their policy to do it prior to unloading but she did it 5 hours later after I brought up the unpacking. Without showing me how much the difference was just telling me the weight difference, she charged my credit card that was on file. I was on the phone with Felicia, my husband in the kitchen with her and she didn’t even show my husband the final invoice before asking for permission to swipe the card. She just ran it and my husband got a notification for almost 1500 more than discussed. Interstate moves goes by weight, and we went over which is fine but how am i suppose to know how much we went over without any confirmation or proof of what the scale was when it was weighed. She could have just added more weight for all I know. The company was so unprofessional in how they handled all of this and I went back and forth for days trying to get some compensation for all this happening. It was sad that I was only offered 300 initially with them sending a few people to help unload but after the people that they sent I didn’t want to know who else would end up in my house and what new headache I would I get for telling them to put things where I want. So I refused and the max they were willing to compensate was 600. I had to reach out to them on multiple occasions to get a response or any help in this matter. 6700$ for mediocre packing, us providing half the boxes, dissembling 3 beds, resembling 3 beds and loading and unloading. What a freakin rip off. If they had been this transparent from the beginning, I would have never opted to do this. It would have been less of a headache to pack it all myself and hire someone to just load and unload. I am very disappointed in this company. they kept advertising how they move for the official braves. I really do not understand if they serve / treat based on how much you pay them and stay out of their way and not ask any questions. I am still fighting to get compensation for all this but I needed to write this review and inform others before they decide to trust this company with one of the three most stressful events that can happen in someone’s life.

I moved on 05-31-22 and it was the worse move I ever experienced. I wish I could give zero stars. I had four movers and two looked like recovering addicts who were just released from the state penitentiary! The leader of group told me that I had to give them a tip-cash only. Then throughout the move, he continued to badger me about the tip. Then, after they finished packing, they left without telling me with ALL OF MY BELONGINGS. I had to call the supervisor to find out where they were. The leader told me that they had to make a run. I was so angry! When I called the supervisor, he defended them and told me that they would deduct the time from my bill. But the worse part is, they broke the door at the Public Storage at Roswell RD location and left every storage space open to vandalism! To top it off, the leader started smoking on a no smoking facility. I had to call the police and notify them so that they could make extra patrols around Public Storage until management arrives on the next business day to fix the door. This entire move was a disaster! It is reprehensible that they hired such low-life employees. When I complained about the damage to Public Storage’s door, Sameera, some person who works there tried to insinuate that I was lying. There is a police report to prove it.

Terrible experience, terrible customer service and lazy/unmotivated workers. Buyer beware - read the reviews and check with the BBB. I can't endorse this company or their support staff at all. Here is my experience - We had Dave Deckman of Atlanta Peach Movers come in person and give us an estimate for our belongings of a 4 bed/2400 sq ft home. Dave quoted about 10K lbs of movables/ $360 hr / 8.5 hours / 2 box trucks / 6 movers. This was a HUGE expense for us, but we trusted Dave to provide a fair estimate as we value our belongings and wanted to make sure we kept what we have in tact. We we misguided and I need to share with you my story as to not make the same mistakes that I did. Issues: 1. Dave told us that the company can move potted plants - no where in the paperwork are potted plants mentioned. ON MOVE DAY, the movers informed us that because plants can die in the back of the van, they could not be taken. I have to hire additional movers to move my potted plants. Emailed Dave, Dave said the policy changed on 9/1, but this was untrue - this has been a standing policy with the company for some time. Dave never responded to my email to make things right. 2. We moved ALL of our boxes from the old house to the new house (clothes, kitchenware, office stuff, kid toys, etc.). This should have been included in Dave's quote. We did this to lighten the load and the burden on move day (and hopefully reduce our cost since it was high). The team came in right at time/budget. So either the quote was incorrect (re: Dave Deckman) or the workers slowed down to the process to maximize the paid time during the move. 3. Mover laziness was real. I'm not a stickler for taking a break - I get it, but dancing in the street in front of my house, sitting down for extended periods of time, and talking hand-on-ear with a cell phone isn't ok in front of the client. I not only observed this on my own, but had three neighbors (one at my former residence and two at my new residence) commented on the level of lazy shown by the team during working hours. 4. I diligently labeled all furniture with color-coded labels and matching tags in each room so that the team would know where to place things. My daughters outdoor picnic table (outdoor basement level) ended up in her bedroom (upstairs) and had to be brought back to the basement. My peloton is in the correct room, but on the opposite wall of where it belongs. They carried our smoker (BGE) over loose stones instead of wheeling it through the house (we would have approved this) which caused a HUGE delay. Other furniture ended up in wrong places - my tags were not followed which would have saved time and expense. The movers did tour the house and the tagging system was explained, so why there was confusion here, I'm unsure. 5. My working desk and bookcase are not put together as promised by team/Dave Deckman. When calling Samira Jalaly, Customer Service Director at Atlanta Peach, she did ask if I wanted them put back together. I do not want these people in my house ever again. Additionally, there is a part missing from my outdoor patio set that was lost in the move. It's a small part, but still showcases the care demonstrated by the company. 6. We have a bedframe that is not being used at the moment, so we didn't need it put together. Instead of placing it neatly under its tag, the pieces were strewn over the wood floors of the guest bedroom - I had to walk on top of them to get to my desk. These are large boards that I had to pickup and move on my own when they could have just been neatly stacked against the wall. I also witnessed one of the boards being dropped RIGHT in front of me in the driveway without an apology. 7. One of the movers needed to use the restroom (totally fine), but clogged the toilet. He did ask for a plunger (which I had to go out and purchase quickly), but he never cleared the clog. The entire main level of the home smelled for the latter half of the move. We did have a sewer issue at the house, so we're very lucky that this did not cause further home damage (very lucky when the plumber came out to resolve the issue as he said this could have triggered a huge problem). I did speak with Samira Jalaly, Customer Service Director, and unfortunately, she was unable to make things right for me at all - in fact, she didn't even try. She said that the only complaint that she saw was the misinformation of the potted plants and which she'd let Dave Deckman know the policy for the future. Since the quote matched closely with Dave's initial estimate, there was nothing she was willing to do (and mind you - we moved A LOT prior to initiating their services). What I witnessed was the level of lazy with sales, customer support and with the moving team itself permeates throughout the company. Bottom line - whatever quote you're given, the workers are going to extend their level of effort to match the quote plus some if able. If the workers were moving - they would have finished about two hours earlier than expected (and I actually think it'd be more than this). I was swindled and will not be an advocate for this company, and my neighbors are aware of the situation as well as they witnessed it first hand. Hoping this review helps you make an informed choice about your move. I welcome Atlanta Peach to make things right here, but have little confidence they'll even show the effort based on this first hand experience. The least I can do is share my experience here.

We were excited to use this company after how professional and knowledgeable they were when they came out to give us a quote. We had them come out about a month before our move and a couple days later confirmed we would be using them and signed the documents on May 21. We again discussed our timeline and were reassured it would be done. The move was schedule for Sunday, June 14. We confirmed days before and were told they would be at our house between eight and 9 o’clock in the morning. Moving day comes...and they never show up. It took a while to get in touch with anyone who could give us answers. We were told they could not make it out that day (The day we had signed papers for) but would be there by 8 o’clock in the morning, at the latest, the next day. We informed them that our house was being closed on at 11 o’clock the next day and they said they could have it done or very close to it. We NEEDED the next day to go fast and the house was supposed to be empty for the buyers’ walk-through that day. My husband and I decided we would move mostly everything to make sure the move could be done in time the next day. We moved the majority of the furniture and all of the boxes and put them in the garage. The only things that were left on the main levels were 2 bed frames, 3 mattresses and a crib/matress (Which we were then told they were not allowed take apart and reassemble cribs- which we would have done sooner had we been told that when we had the man come and quote our move), and a table and a desk. They arrived at 9 o’clock the next day. An hour after they told us they would arrive. When the movers showed up they said they wished they knew we lived on a hill because they brought the wrong truck and could not get it up our driveway because of the lift gate. I felt so bad for them! However, the benefits of having a company come out to your house for the quote is that they SEE the driveway. Bless the men who moved us. What should have taken no more than 2 hours, 3 tops- took 5 hours because they had to carry everything up and down the driveway. I do not want this review to reflect poorly on them. They were wonderful. However, we are extremely disappointed with the customer service that claims a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Our Real estate agent was not able to make it to our closing on Monday because we did not have anyone 18 or older to stay with the movers while we had to leave and close on our house. The men were not done by 11 o’clock and thank goodness the people buying our house were so accommodating, because the movers were there most of the day trying to get everything out of the garage and onto the truck. At this point my husband and I would have been better off renting a truck and loading it up ourselves since we put everything in the garage anyways. With three small children we were looking for a smooth move where we wouldn’t have to stress. We trusted this company to get that done for us and instead we moved most of the furniture ourselves and didn’t get the service we were quoted for. We were quoted $1,600 for the move (Which included them moving the furniture from the rooms and down our many stairs, not from the garage) and were told it would probably be under, but that they would rather overestimate than underestimate. We ended up paying $1,930. I could not believe it. We called the office several times and it took 5 phone calls before Tim, the operations manager, spoke to me. Today I got a call back from a different employee letting me know they would refund $400 and no more. This gets us back to the original quote. If everything went as planned we would be ecstatic with the original quote, but it did not. We did not get the service we were quoted for. They did not show up the day they were scheduled to move. My husband and I had to move the majority of our belongings ourselves and with that we still had to pay the same amount as the original quote. I would be happy to give a better review if the company stood by their 100% satisfaction guarantee.

The time the mover showed up was somewhat punctual and what arrived was in good condition. However, a missing item was noticed and after being asked to give time for the moving company to try to locate the missing item, a claim was entered and denied. Moving company claims it is difficult to process claims for missing items for a “point A to point B” move.

The price was the issue. I called and talked to a rep. He gave me a very fair quote and I agreed to it. I signed on. They signed on for a guaranteed day. All of a sudden, a week before my move date which was on a Saturday, they actually called me and it was someone else. They said that they needed to come out and look in more detail to make sure everything's organized for the move that week. The guy came out and basically looked at everything and it went from $300 to $1600 all of a sudden. Since it was a week before we had to move and be out of the current place, we really had no other option but to accept it. And they really baited and switched us and they switched us at the last minute. I called and talked to management and they said sorry, there's nothing we can do. As well as, they didn't even tell us the tip wasn't included or that there would even be a tip. So the people that came out to move all of a sudden went from a crew of 3 to a crew of 5. The crew of 5, most of them were standing around most of the time. They weren't organizing well. For example, they ran out of blankets in the apartment they were wrapping things up in. Then they had to wait for someone at the truck to bring it up versus actually just taking the normal elevator down and going to the truck to actually get the blankets. Instead they were just waiting for someone to come up to bring it up. So it was just poor planning.

They were punctual but poor use of time. It was bad in the sense they guaranteed me a price and a week before the move, when I couldn't reschedule with anyone else because they would all be booked, they came out and changed the price by more than 5 times, from $300 to $1600. The people scheduling me did not inform me of any tip situation and then when I came out, the people that were doing things all of a sudden made it very clear that they were expecting a tip. I didn't have any cash because I didn't know. They're all expecting a tip. They're dropping very clear hints throughout the process. All of a sudden they're like we're done, where's our tip. I literally had to just give them some stuff that I moved with. So I gave them some bottles of liquor and wine. It was a very uncomfortable situation. On top of paying $1600 for the move, they're expecting each a tip. They've already multiplied my cost more than 5 times. So clearly something is wrong in their payment system.

It went great! They even stuck to the quote they gave us over the phone. We made sure to specify a 26? box truck, and they sent two, with three guys each. It was great to know that we could count on them. They were a great crew, good people, super-nice. The pricing was reasonable, and it took 9 hours to move everything. Just an excellent experience all the way around. I can?t say enough good things. People stick by their word here, and it's a nice change from Miami, Florida.

I used Atlanta Peach Movers (will refer to them as APM for short) for an out of state move based on a recommendation from a friend. I called and requested an estimate. Received a prompt call-back and we set up an appointment to see what was being moved and get the estimate. The estimator came as promised. The estimate was in the ballpark of what I expected, and with my friend’s recommendation, I went with them. I did most of my packing to save money. However, I had APM pack some larger art pieces. Those were done in advance. The ladies that came did an excellent job packing. The day of the actual move, three movers came and wrapped everything and loaded the truck. It took a little longer than I expected and I was late for the closing, but I was told it would be close. The three movers did a really good job. One slight snag was they broke a glass table top, but it really wasn’t due to their negligence, it seemed to stick to the base. They asked me how much I thought it would be and offered to pay for it out of their pocket, because they would have to pay for it anyway and they didn’t want to get in trouble. I felt bad and told them not to worry about it—I figured it would just be in the $30 range (turned out to be $60). Furniture was delivered as promised by the same guys. All was pretty intact, but unfortunately, there was some slight damage to a piece of furniture (why is it always the one you like most?) that looked like it rubbed against something during the drive. I pointed it out to the movers, they filled out a form and I was told I would hear directly from the claims manager. That’s when the problems began. --Two weeks later, nothing. I called and she told me this was the first she’d heard of it. She sent me a form to fill out which I did within a few days. I was told someone would contact me. --One month later, nothing. I called and she said she would follow up. --Three weeks later, nothing. She said they were having problems with their person in my area and asked if I knew any companies that repaired furniture. I said no, but had good luck with Angie’s List. Never heard back. --Two weeks later, I called again. This time she said she thought this would be under my deductible and basically I was on my own. I replied I would be back in touch if the estimate was above the deductible. --Two weeks later I sent the estimate which was close to $300 above the deductible. I was told they’d send me a check after the weekend. --Two weeks later, nothing. I again followed up. I’m still waiting on their reply. Out of frustration I called my credit card company and they said I could dispute the amount I was due, which I did. Still waiting for them to issue a credit. From the customer perspective, it seemed to me that they were stringing me along hoping I’d forget or figure it wasn’t worth the trouble to pursue. During a visit back to Atlanta I thought about calling the manager, but after reading other reviews, I figured it would be in vain. It must be their company policy or the claims manager would have been fired by now. All of this was for a relatively small claim. I can only imagine what they would do for a larger sum. I considered giving them a higher score based on the first part of the experience, but their attempts to put me off seemed so deliberate, I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I don’t think I would use them again.

After posting this review I was contacted by Scott Kreig, general manager of Atlanta Peach Movers. He took great pains to make sure he understood what the problem was, and sent me the following email outlining steps he was taking to remedy the problem. This is excellent customer service and leads me to believe that my experience is NOT the norm. Mr. Rocket, we are very pleased to have been able to settle your issues with your move. We love candid feedback from our customers so we can continue to strive for perfection as well as take care of our customers. With the information you shared with us we have developed a new process for when our pack crews are packing up a customer?s items. We also have had several training sessions to train the packers on what boxes to use for specific items. As well as how to wrap individual items. The packing supervisor is required to inventory all the boxes they packed, therefore validating exactly what we packed, therefore eliminating any inaccurate counts. Thank you again for using Atlanta Peach Movers.

Terrible.  The move experience has been a nightmare.  We bought their expensive insurance.  Then the movers damaged 5 pieces of furniture.  Two of which the company refused to repair and claimed that the exclusions were in the paperwork that we were not given proper time to review.  The person we have been dealing with to get the repairs done thinks it was OK for the movers to damage a piece of furniture, not tell us about, tried to do the repair themselves, and which made the damage worse worse according to the professional furniture restorer.   I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

Moving is very stressful and from the moment I called Peach Movers they made the process as easy and stress free as possible.
They recommended 6 movers for my local move and trust me they were all busy wrapping and moving my furniture and boxes.
The guys were all very polite and helpful and a pleasure to be with for the day. Not only were they the strongest team of men , they were very aware of my walls and furniture moving out of old house and into the new. Everything arrived in perfection condition and my houses were in perfect shape after the move.
Honestly it could not have gone better.
