I scheduled the service by e-mail. I called Lance to confirm. He was very nice. Ed showed up on time to sweep my chimney. He did a good job. He put a tarp down on my hardwood floor in case anything got on the floor. Nothing did. He was very neat and did a good job sweeping the chimney. Ed had a lot of knowledge about chimneys and fireplaces. He inspected my chimney and was able to make a recommendation about a repair I will need on down the road. He left me some flyers about gas logs. He discussed the options for gas logs with me. He really knew his stuff. At the time of this writing, there is an Angie's List discount. Make sure you mention this when scheduling the appointment and also to your technician. I would use this provider again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out very well. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They were willing to show me exactly how bad the fireplace was before they did the work.

Worker arrived on time and very polite. Explained in detail all that he was doing and answered our questions. Cleaned up all debris.

These guys are exceptionally good at what they do. They came inside, moved everything away from the fireplace, covered all the openings and the floor...they employed interior and exterior ventilation while doing a really messy job.They also gave me some really good tips for protecting and improving my chimney cap.

This company is excellent they did everything we requested and went above and beyond some of the work that was needed. They went out of there way on all visits to accommodate our needs and time frame. I would definitely use them in the future if needed.

They were fine. I am waiting on an estimate from them because they discovered a malfunction in the gas fireplace.

I would definitely recommend Lance. He was prompt, professional and friendly. He took pictures of the chimney, explaining some work I might want to get done in the future, but said it did not need to be done right away. He took care to clean and remove everything without messing up my carpet. Very pleased.

They were friendly and very informative as far as their assessment of the status of my fireplace. They were very forthright. The technician who came out showed me what my problem was, which was none, because the fireplace was never used.

I never actually received a quote. Jonathan emailed a couple of times to say he was over worked and that I would receive a quote soon...Four months later, I have not heard from him. While, Jonathan was very professional and knowledgeable, I would not recommend this company.

When my fireplace was leaking, I didn't know who to call. After reading the A.L. reviews, I called Atlanta Fireplace Specialists. They were very responsive and thorough. They were patient in explaining what needed to be repaired. When it came time to do the work, the entire team worked efficiently. It took longer then they had thought it would, but they worked until they were satisfied with the job. They made sure that I knew how to use gas logs and let me test everything out before they left.

They were excellent! At times, they didn't call me back when we were trying to schedule it. They were supposed to come out one day and then they never showed up. So I called them and something happened and so he came out the next day to make sure it got done. That was a little frustrating. I'm not sure what happened there but otherwise once they came they did a great job!

They just told me that my fireplace is not good and not to use it. They told me this and that. They were great. I would possibly call them.

He got back to me quickly, but his estimate was high for me.

Cleaned everything up but the repairs were too extensive and we decided not to do it.

The manager (Paul) came out and gave me a detailed estimate (the middle of 3 estimates that I had obtained) a few days before. On the scheduled work day (on which it fortunately did not rain), 4 workers showed up and worked throughout the day (I was amazed) until it was completed. Upon inspecting the work from outside after they were done, I I noticed that the flashing in the back was sticking out and had to call Paul back, but he came and repaired it before it got dark. After a few days, it rained and I checked whether it was leaking, and it was, so had to call them back. Paul came himself and fixed it within about 2 hours, which was a day or two after it rained. So far, after several heavy rains, it appears to have stopped leaking. Paul was an Angel. The business owner Lance called to check on the work. The workers acted in a very professional manner for the most part. I was pleased that they honored their price estimate, warranty, and guaranteed their work.

They did a really good job. If we needed a service again we would call them for sure. We just bought the house and we had to see that everything was okay. So, they did a really good job. They did a general maintenance on our chimney and we liked them a lot.

Everything went very well, they came when they said they would, did what they said they would and we very professional.
