They were great from start to finish. The price is reasonable.

The work was excellent. They did a good job. I did not need it as I had gas logs but they did arrange those as needed. They were professional. He was nice to work with.

It turned out great. It took a while to get scheduled because they were backed up from the Big Deals. I had to schedule about 5 weeks out. The sent 2 people out to do the job and they got the job done in about 30 minutes. The workers were fine and friendly guys.

The two chimney technicians cleaned and inspected the interior and exterior of the chimney. They also provided a very thorough explanation of what issues they saw with the chimney as well as the modifications that would need to be made to make it safe and bring it up to code.

I hired another company to clean my dryer vent a few weeks ago and they were unable to fully clear the blockage. They suggested that the pipe may be disconnected and I would have to cut out the ceiling to find it. I contacted Lance at Atlanta Fireplace Specialists and scheduled a time for the same week. Lance and his crew said they would do an initial cleaning and if the problem still existed they were prepared to cut into the ceiling if necessary to complete the repair. Fortunately for me, Lance had a heavy duty vacuum that was able to suck out the nasty blockage quickly and clear out the vent. The guys really did a great job and left my house just as they found it. I am so happy with the results. My dryer went from taking 3 cycles to dry a load of towels to just one. I only wish I had called them first. Thank you so much for fixing the problem for me!

He was very helpful in telling me what I needed to do and why with my chimney. He left everything very nice and clean and he was very knowledgable. He was very personable. He actually returned my call while he was on vacation, letting me know that he was backed up but would be there for us.

My experience turned out pretty well. Scheduling was a little problematic since the technician was overwhelmed. The service was fast when he did come out to do the work and he gave me great safety advice for my fireplace. It took him about an hour to complete the job. The results were good and my fireplace was useable as soon as he left.

It turned out well. I have no complaints. They came out some time in November and I wasn't charged anything extra. I think they did a good work. They didn't leave a mess and I was pleased with them. I would use them again.

Lance was professional and on time. He was more than willing to please and to ensure he did the job right. He was honest and truly knows what he is doing, he even drew out a picture of how to operate with instructions and saved in my file so if I call him with issues he has a copy to and knows how to step me through it. Highly recommend him to anyone!! Thanks for saving my family prior to the snow and ice storm.

He was very sensitive to the fact that we had cats we did not want to get out. I'm assuming chimney cleaning could be a sooty mess, but he left the living room cleaner than he found it. He was also very knowledgeable and could answer all my questions.

It took reminding to make an appt. they never emailed a estimate on future repair...nothing

Lance was on time and very professional. He made sure to spend time educating me on what needed work and what did not need work. He did not try to sell me stuff that I did not want nor needed. We scheduled a time that was good for both of us, and I am very happy with his service. I did not need anything major done to my fireplace this year, just a check up and a sweep.

It went good. There were three people that came out. Two worked on the fireplace and one worked on the chimney. They were all very professional, courteous, and mindful of keeping my home clean. They were very helpful in explaining what they were going to do and what the next step would be. The only problem I had was that they were supposed to check my dryer vent and water heater and they forgot. I had to remind them about the dryer vent, so I'm glad I remembered to ask them as it was full of dryer lint! I did forget to mention the water heater though. However, they found rust on top of the chimney that needs to be replaced. I'm going to get a second opinion before I replace the part. Since they came out, I've fired up the chimney and everything went fine. I think they did an excellent job.

Lance contacted me quickly to let me know that they were very busy but that he would get with me to schedule a visit as soon as possible. He continued to keep in contact with me and arranged to come out within the next week. He arrived on time and completed the work quickly and professionally. He answered all my questions and gave me good advice on what I needed. I was very satisfied with his service and would not hesitate to use him in the future!

Cleaned the fireplace and flue. Said it was a good thing we did it before using it. The previous owner claimed to have used it only once but it was obvious that it was well used.

My dryer probably had never been cleaned and was totally clogged. He actually had to clean it twice to clear both clogs. He was extremely punctual and even showed me how to use my gas fireplace. Totally recommend them.

His voicemail said that if I needed repair work I should use the "Request Service" on his webpage. I did - twice - and then sent an email. He never replied. I gave up and called someone else.

The service went very well especially the professionalism, the quality of the product and the technical expertise, the way it was explained and the quality of installation. Just everything from start to finished. The technician who did the job had done it for a long time and he really just do his stuff inside and out. He really kind of went above and beyond.

Arrived on time (after squeezing me into their schedule) service went well, very professional and left the place very clean, will definitely use them for all my fireplace work in the future

Moved in the house a few months ago and needed the chimnet inspected before I tried the gas logs.Had it inspected by another company anwill use a\d they showed me the gap and gave me a cost for the repair. I decided to comparison shop. AFS had other good reviews and quoted a better price. The Techs arrived promptly (which is important to me). They sealed around the entire firbox edge with a high temp cement, made no mess and even swept the hearth when finished.I am very pleased and will use again when I need fireplace service.

They cleaned out the vent as requested and did the inspections. I also gained some information on how to clean the brick surrounding our fireplace. They were honest and reminded me that I had already paid for the coupon so I didn't need to write them a check. They stopped me from making a mistake and paying twice. They also did not tack on extra expenses that were not included in the coupon. The only thing that bothered me was that three men did the job and when I let them into the house they went in a couple of different directions. To the fireplace and to the laundry room. That and the fact that their truck was unmarked gave me an uneasy feeling although I have no reason to doubt that they are honest men. I was glad that my husband happened to be home at the time. I was expecting it to be a one-man job. Having three to keep track of threw me off.

Overall, a great experience. We had a minor initial schedule mix-up, but nothing that would take away from the quality of the end result. Lance was extremely thorough and professional in addressing all of our questions and concerns. He asked a lot of questions on the initial phone call and conveyed a deep sense of knowledge, which allowed him to arrive very well-prepared. While the work we required was not extensive, based on this experience, we will certainly call Lance first going forward.
