Description of Work: The Atlanta Fireplace Specialist installed a B vent fireplace in my basement. They were very knowledgeable in their craft which helped me a lot in my decision in the B vent system. Both Jonathan and Lance listened to my ideas and never tried to push the sell of any one type of product. Lance described the pros and cons of different fireplaces for my home, and Jonathan was able to explain the cost associated with each choice. The company installed a Heatilator B vent system. The framing structure for the fireplace looks great. We added a new pan and shroud on the chimney cap which was much stronger than my builder grade. I had my wood burning fireplace swept while they were there and they did an excellent job.

Call us if you think you have animals in your chimney. We can provide useful information and will assist or point you in the right direction. Birds which return each April/May to nest in your chimney are Federally protected and cannot be removed. They leave again each fall. We will gladly sweep and install a cap afterward. They return to the same area each year and eat many mosquitoes and insects. Consider having us construct new vertical habitat nearby or they may die upon returning from Brazil
