Also had him convert gas burning logs and fireplace back wood burning with a heavy duty gas starter. Did a great job and was very polite. Costs of doing additional work was very reasonable. Would definitely use again in the future and have already recommended to others.

Description of Work: we are remodeling an old house and needed to know if the fireplace was usable. Arvydas and his assistant Ben were on time, friendly, explained the process and worked quickly. they cleaned the chimney and basin, cleaned up the gas logs and had me set up for a fire.they even took time to make friends with my dogs. I really wanted to burn wood, but it was recommended that we stick to gas logs based on the age and condition of the fireplace. I had my father (a former brick mason) take a look at it while he was visiting and he thought it would be fine to burn wood provided we patch up the mortar, which we did and have had several wood burning fires already! he also explained the our chimney sweep most likely needs to be extra cautious in his line of work! overall, they did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Description of Work: I bought the chimney cleaning product but when contacted by Atlanta Chimney Worx they said I was out of their service area and it would be an additional $30. to come to my home. he told me that I could get a refund or pay the extra. he was very nice the entire time, so I have no complains but I want a refund rather than pay extra for him to come to my house.

Description of Work: Replaced chimney cap. They came out, checked the chimney cap, measured for replacement. They worked with me to schedule a time to return and replace the cap. QED!
