Arrived on time, cleaned the fireplace and chimney in an unobtrusive way, checked the gas starter, left behind no mess, climbed the roof and took pictures of the chimney and pointed out some wood rot that I couldn't see from the ground. It was almost like it got cleaned by magic because I was busy while he was working and I hardly noticed he was there.

The owner of Atlanta Chimney Worx AKA The RainPan Man, Arvydas Didas, installed a chimney cap and completed a chimney sweep. He measured, built, and installed the cap within one week. On the day of installation, he completed the work and swept the chimney within an hour. The chimney cap is visually appealing, quality work, and specially built (it took up the entire bed of his pick-up). I definitely recommend Didas.

.Mr. Didas responded very promptly, arrived at the appointed time, took photos of the chimney (from the top where I'll not be going!) and offered choices and time to consider and research them before making a decision. My house is over 40 years old with a wood-burning masonry fireplace and it was reassuring to have it pronounced "safe" by a professional. I could not be happier with the result and would call Mr. Didas for any future work.

After initially getting a cleaning we were informed of some opportunities. They were all right on to the items we had wanted done. Work was done quickly, professionally, and looks great. Great detail taken to make it look and work properly. Highly recommend.

They did great work. The guy was really nice and explained everything. He noticed some things that I hadn't noticed. He covered everything and gave me a good deal on having some parts replaced.

Just bought the house. I would guess it had never been cleaned before due to the huge pile of creosote. Took his time and was super neat and clean. Excellent work at a reasonable price. Would recommend highly.

Arvydas was punctual and immediately set to work. He took photos of the chimney area from the roof and showed us what needed to be done. He ensured that no mess was left and was wonderful to deal with!

.Purchased the Chimney Sweep deal on Sunday and they were at my house on Wednesday, right when he said he would be. Did a great job. Very professional and nice, funny too. He swept the chimney from inside the house with zero mess. He went on the roof to make sure everything was good up there too. He did not try to upsell us on anything. I am very pleased.

After contacting a number of vendors who were either too busy to schedule an estimate, or were way over our firm budget, we reached Arvydas. From the initial conversation, he was very polite and knowledgable about gas logs. He gave us an immediate estimate over the phone, based on the dimensions of our fireplace. He recommended a specific log provider, and suggested that we go online to look at the more than eight log-type options we could choose from (way more options than any other provider we contacted). Once we chose, Arvydas took care of securing the log kit. After choosing the perfect logs for our house, we scheduled a time for Arvydas to come install them. He was able and willing to install immediately following our first conversation. The two-to-three day delay between our initial conversation and the install was based solely on my hectic schedule. Arvydas met us at the house. He was very respectful of our time, working quickly, and was careful to protect our hard wood floors by laying down blankets and floor coverings. We chatted while he worked and he explained the install step-by-step, which made me very comfortable with what he was doing and why. Less than an hour later, we had an absolutely gorgeous set of gas logs burning in the fireplace, which we've used every day since. It was clear to me from the initial conversation that Arvydas wanted my business. He was responsive, positive and extremely well-priced. was It was the kind of vendor experience I look for and expect from Angie's List. We highly recommend Arvydas Didas for gas log installation.

He did the work during the holiday's and was extremely pleasant and professional. After he assembled everything, he was not satisfied with the evenness of the flames andwent through the trouble to completely disassemble and reassemble everything, with the end result being a beautiful fire. The price we paid also included a chimney sweep and a new gas key. Also, when he was placing the logs, he noticed a small crack in one and said that he would return within the week with a new one to replace it...he came back 5 days later! Very nice experience and I'd recommend him without hesitation.

Friend of mine recommended them as reasonably priced honest business professionals. I called Atlanta Chimney Worx to fix my gas fireplace, where gas logs wouldn't light or wouldn't stay on for long. After I left a message they called me back within 10 minutes. Arvydas told me that he will be in the area next day and could stop by to take a look at my gas logs. He was at my door step when he was expected with drop cloth to protect the floor. I thought that was very thoughtful of him. Gas log repair didn't take more than an hour and he did have a part that needed to be replaced on his truck, He told me it's fairly common problem. He gave me some options how to enhance performance of the fireplace and make it more convenient. He definitely knows a lot about fireplaces and gas logs ! After consideration I decided not to add remote or the fan, but I might get remote control after Christmas shopping. While he was here he inspected the chimney cap which I knew needed to be replaced soon - rust was running down the chimney. He got it measured it up and gave me good price for the replacement cap. Arvydas was back with the new rainpan in four days and got it installed at no time. He checked on my gas logs again and asked whether I have any appliances that need attention ? My water heater was dripping water and he got it fixed ! Awesome ! it was like one stop shop, he is a truthfully handy person to call when something breaks down.

I called late Thursday afternoon and he showed up Friday afternoon. He was prompt and friendly. He fixed the fireplace in an expeditious manner and answered all of my questions. He gave me a few tips, demonstrated the fix, and overall did a great job. I'd definitely call again if I have any other problems with my fireplace or chimney.

Looked up gas log repair - called - got a response immediately and a service call on Sunday....Wahoo!

I have bought set of gass logs from Home Depot and I couldn't install it myself. I had Arvydas doing remodeling in my house before, so I knew I can trust him. He came on the next day after we talked on the phone. He cleaned my chimney and installed gas logs from Home Depot. He also measured for the masonry shroud. We have a prefab fireplace witch has brick on outside. Water was getting in the house thanks to masonry shroud we won't have any more water damage. While he was working on fireplace I asked if he could look at our grill whitch was not getting hot enough to cook on. He restored perfomance of our Broilmaster grill at no time or extra charge. Thank you again for outstanding job !
