,He came to install a new chimney cap; showed a picture of the new installed chimney cap. I also asked him to look at the fireplace and he suggested that it is a good idea to clean it, if it's not been done for few years (i have not cleaned it ever, but I also don't use it much). For additional $50, he cleaned the chimney. I am not an expert on fireplaces and I was under the impression that the fireplace was a gas fireplace, but he said it is a wood burning fireplace with a log starter (gas) and he also showed me how to use it. He offered to sell me gas logs if I want to use it and not worry about getting logs, cleaning etc. for around $280-$300. I declined it and told him I will think about it.

We bought a "big deal" to have our fireplace and chimney inspected. They did a great job cleaning up the fireplace and found that the back wall of our fireplace had a huge crack which we had not even noticed. He said this could be a real fire hazard. We called him back a couple of months later and he replaced that whole back wall. He was easy to deal with, was on time both times when he said he would be here, and there was not a speck of dirt left anywhere in my living room despite what was a very dirty job! Can highly recommend.

Arvydas, Atlanta Chimney Worx, did a great job, and I highly recommend him if you have similar needs. He is thorough and accurate, and just as important, he's a very nice guy. I can't say enough good things about the work he did, and the way he handled our interaction. Use anyone else at your own peril :-)

Arvydas first came by to check the gas line and the grill. He purchased the conversion kit (Propane to Natural Gas - note: you need to buy a convertible grill - not all grills can be used with nat gas) and installed it the next day. He checked my grill instructions overnight to insure he knew exactly what to do. His installation was completely professional. He teed-off an existing gas line and added an additional shut-off valve, properly sealing all the joints. When completed he used a gas sensor to check for gas leaks as well as checking the gas meter to insure no gas being used. He removed the regulators as propane runs under higher pressure and changed the knob regulators as well. After the installation, he re-lit the pilot on my water heater and checked my gas heater to insure it was working properly (even though it was summer-time). The price which included all parts was OK.

He was wonderful. He was on time and knowledgable. He also took a picture of the top of my chimney to show me the smoke stains.

Wow! What a good experience. Arvydas came out on time, stayed for hours helping fix the grill and was extremely generous with his time. Honestly, the best Angies List contractor yet! Will definitely work with him again, very friendly, professional, prompt and fair.

I had a good experience with Atlanta Chimney Worx. I like their responsiveness. They responded quickly and they came out and looked at it and fixed it on the spot for a good price.

Ok, but the quality was not up to my expectations.

Atlanta Chimney Worx was friendly, listened to what we were looking for and provided us with the solution. There was nothing we did not like. The first cosmetic changes that he made, the color was not what we were expecting so he came back and fixed it for us. We thought the pricing was reasonable.

Arvydas came by our new house, we had no idea when the chimney was last cleaned so we purchased a bog deal on Angie list He right away lay down protective sheet not to damage/dirty floor. He cleaned the chimney and when he was done, he showed me a few things that were going on with the chimney and how it was repaired in the past and what to look for in the future to make sure it still operate. We were also missing a piece for the gas starter and Arvydas showed me what I would need if I wanted to replace that piece (It was mostly esthetic and not need for the operation of the chimney). The cleaning was well done and no mess was left in the house! Arvydas also looked at the Chimney cap and told me it was in good shape and did not need replacement. I was very pleased by the service and will use it again in the future for all my chimney cleaning/repair needs..

Atlanta Chimney Worx it was alright. The guy showed up when he said he was going to, but something else I needed for him to check on the chimney and he didn't end up doing it. It was okay. He came and did the inspection like he said he did, but on the chimney there was another part that goes to the furnace and I needed him to check that one too and I told him before he went to the house and he didn't wind up doing it. I used him about a month and a half or two months something like that. He charged I think I got it on a special from you guys like $100, he added an extra charge for like $40 something like that.

Individual was quick, efficient,, professional, clean, and charged a very reasonable amount for service provided. I especially appreciated the fact that he took the extra time to show me how to make minor fixes. This was a great experience and I will use him again for future fireplace needs.

He was very pleasant and able to come out the day that we wanted work done, even at the last minute. He did everything that he said he was going to do and he seemed to really like his work! It was done at a good rate as well!

I love their gas logs and fireplace. My was a huge amount but it was so worth it. I love these guys. It was the nicest thing I ever bought. It look so beautiful. It works perfect. They were great. They did exactly what I want. They came exactly on time. They were very prompt. They were polite. They were courteous. The gas logs are wonderful. They did bring up my gas log however I wanted it lower. It was so beautiful. It was really lovely. It was a one time thing for me but if I buy a new house and I need them again, I would call them.

He was great. He replaced my gas line and hauled away a gas grill. He neat, clean, and was prompt in responding to my calls. He was on time when we had appointments. I've recommended him to other people.

When I called I was told he would come out the following Monday. When Monday came around I heard nothing. I had to follow up with him. He then rescheduled for the following week to come out and give an estimate. Finally when he came it took a week to get the estimate by then I had already had the work done. I thought the price was great for the cap, but could not wait for 3 weeks to get an estimate.

I did get several estimates, and this one was lower than the other. The owner (I think) is very personable and professional. We discussed the materials to be used, how long it would take, and the cost. He was right on schedule, replaced the cap, and showed me pictures on his smart phone. I have been very pleased with the result.

Arvydas was punctual, efficient, friendly, neat and charged a reasonable price for the work done. He was very careful not to make a mess, esp. when cleaning out an old fireplace before installing the gas logs. Cleaned up after he finished and hauled the debris away. Arvydas noticed a soft spot on my back roof, which I was able to have repaired before it caused a severe leak. All in all a very good experience and I recommend Arvydas highly.

The tenants had no complaints--not a ringing endorsement, but worth something.

He was very professional and complete. Gave us tips for maintenance and a problem we were having with hornets in the chimney.
