Mr. Didas was exceptionally professional, with the ability to explain the scope of his work with words and pictures. Just had a cleaning per a pending home sale, but would definitely call him again with other fireplace related issues.

He came and inspected the chimney and confirmed repairs were needed. He put in a damper (it didn't have one), which also has saved me on heating and a.c. because it was wide open. Then he fireproofed the inside of the ornamental mantle (if he hadn't I would have had a major fire upon using the fireplace). Then he cleaned the chimney. He explained every step and gave me pricing for each project, was prompt, knowledgeable and worked quickly.

He did a great job. He was very trustworthy, explained everything well, and was very professional.

I found this company on an Angie's List search. I checked out their website and sent an email with questions and photos showing a problem with the fireplace in a rental property I was preparing to sell. I received a lengthy reply by email the next morning. So I called to ask about price and availability. The price for a cleaning and inspection was $175. I scheduled that for a few days later. The owner, Arvydas, arrived on time and did the job in a very professional manner. He said the fireplace was not safe to use because the damper was warped from too-high heat and also the chimney cap was old and bent. He showed me the warped damper (which he had removed to show me) and a photo of the chimney cap. We discussed the cost to repair these problems and I said I would think about whether or not I wanted to spend the money on this. He stressed that if I decided not to have the repairs made that I should disclose these problems to any buyer because it was not safe to use the fireplace in its current condition -- I liked his ethics very much. A few days later I decided that I did want to have the repairs made. Again, Arvydas was available to do the work on my schedule. He emailed a photo when he was finished.

We were unsure of what type of gas logs we wanted in our fireplaces. The owner of the company came out to our house and measured our fireboxes and helped us select exactly what we needed. Both fireplaces are beautiful. We have always been a wood fire family. I wish we had installed these gas logs many years ago.

Scheduling was quick and easy, and he arrived on time. Did a very through clean up, and inspection. Was very pleased with his work and appreciated that he didn't try to "sell" me anything once he got in the door. Would definitely recommend him and use again.

Very responsive to my request and cam out within a couple of days. Existing fireplace works fine, he told me it would work better with a new insert and different size. If we decide to switch it out, will definitely call him back to install. He did clean up the logs also to make it look better! Did a quick efficient job.

They came the same day I bought the service. He was prompt. Very friendly. He explained to me how to relight the pilot light. He explained how it would go out and how to fix it. He was here a total of about 40 minutes.

He probably did a good job. There was nothing in my chimney, so it wasn’t messy. He did what he had to do. The only thing is that I had a little trouble understanding his accent. I would ask him to repeat what he was saying more than once. That's not really a complaint. It's the first time I've had my chimney done and it's the first time I've had a chimney because I just moved here a year ago. I wanted to make sure that it was safe. The big deal price was $159. I didn’t pay anything else. I am not going to put him down because of his accent certainly. I think he was good for as much as I know about it. I don’t know a lot about chimneys. Mine really didn’t require any work. He was kind enough to make some recommendations if we wanted to do something with it. He answered our questions. He was a nice guy. With regard to price, I didn’t do a lot of comparing; I trusted Angie's List with the price. I don’t really remember that much about it and I really don’t have a big comparison. With regard to quality, he went in and he put the equipment up in there. It was clean. It wasn’t a big deal; it didn’t require a lot of work. It was easy. The quality was fine. He followed up fine. His responsiveness and punctuality were good. I am not sure if I would use them again in the future. I don’t even know if I'm going to use my chimney; I don’t think I am. So I probably won't need one. I'm not saying that I wouldn’t hire him again; I might. At the same time, I would probably compare. I felt good that I didn’t have a problem with my chimney; I was relieved.

Overall everything went well with the installation and the quality of work was outstanding. Arvydas was very knowledgable and outlined various vent free gas log options, noting pros and cons of each and recommending which units would look best in each of the three fireplaces as each fireplace varied in size. Arvydas arrived on a Saturday morning on time and it took the entire afternoon for the installation. He demonstrated each unit as they are remote start (one electronic pilot) and reviewed all of the warranty information. He also disposed of the old units. The only issue was a little lack of responsiveness via email correspondence in setting up installation. Given that the process started during peak season and over the holidays, it was somewhat expected. However, once he got the units ordered, delivered, and an installation date set, Arvydas was on top of everything and did an outstanding job! The price was high, but the quality was worth it as I wanted to best. The fireplaces look great and significantly enhance the ambiance of each room: entry foyer room, living room, dining room. I would recommend him to anyone looking to upgrade their fireplace units.

After a review of the chimney, including inspection, quote of $500 was offered to replace 20 year old chimney top pan and add a new chimney decorative top. After a few call, we arranged for the install date. Crew arrived as expected and installed the new painted pan and top as agreed. During the install, the crew took pictures of the inside of the chimney to make sure there were no other issues. I did ask for picture to be sent to me in email, still waiting. The quality of the materials and workmanship was good, and we have had several very heavy rains and no indication of any leaks. I would recommend this company.

It was okay. It took me a while to get in touch with them. The email was the only way they had set up in the system. Once I got the first email back, they gave me some available dates. They said no for the first available date and so I asked for more available dates. It took about three or four emails back and forth to actually get back to me. Otherwise it was fine. It was just the Deal price. The lack of written response time was the thing that stood out to me about them. I thought the price was right in line. I wasn’t actually there when they did the job.

It went great! We liked everything, they came on time, they did the work, and it was very easy. They answered our emails very promptly.

It was a Big Deal purchase. It was fine. They came out shortly after I bought the deal. It was easy to have the appointment scheduled. I had no problems. I would tell a friend or a neighbor that they were good, fast and efficient.
