Atlanta Chimney Worx

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it went really well. He was timely, he sent us pictures of what he did, and we were very pleased with what he did. We had to pay extra because the size of the cap that we required was bigger, but that was expected.

The appointment was set and the vendor I had spoken with over the phone was the technician. He brought the product after sending me e-mail links that had products that better suited my needs. We set the appointment to coinside with an appointment he had in Roswell, I am in Cumming. After he began to install the product I was informed that I was " out of his service area" and that I should call on another vendor closer to my home. He gave the name of a specific firm, to which I explained I researched them and they had a bad reputation, he agreed and even added his own horror stories about the vendor. I inquired, why would you refer me to a vendor that we both know is inferior? I also asked why did you take my order, pick up the parts, drive to Cumming,GA if I am not in your service area.? Hint: I am African American. I will never use this vendor again.

Good and professional service

Arvydas is tops period. Came when he said he would, stuck to the request to quote a new chimney cap, even though I asked to inspect the fireplace and I was willing to pay for a cleanup, which he said I didn't need. That's when I knew I had someone I could trust. Ordered the custom built cap, said it would be ready Thursday, which it was. He called Thursday to come install the new cap, and did so in no time at all, taking all the old stuff and leaving everything spanking new. Don't procrastinate any longer, give him a call. You will be glad too.

As stated before, the individual was punctual and professional in everyway. Fast and efficient. Knew his job so well that he could solve any problems without having to call for backup. He kept the work area clean and when he left, the work area was as clean as when he arrived. He removed the gas logs and working mechanicians by wrapping each log and parts and putting in a box supplied by me. He cleaned the fireplace bottom but not putting any dust in the air. He added the gas log starter and piping required with total skill. He also tested the gas log starter to be sure it was in perfect working order. He inspected the chinmey for possible problems and found none. Upon leaving he presented his business card and reminded me he did all phases of work on fireplaces. I'm very happy with the job.

Work was acceptable, we were notified that our address was outside of the service area, and that there would be an additional trip fee. We paid, we did the work. Acceptable transaction

Mr Arvydas immediately contacted us after our purchase to schedule service and also gave us information on what the issue with our chimney was. After cleaning it - we no longer had ash smell in our family room. Arvydas was very professional and on time. He went up on the roof and inspected both chimneys and discovered that one of the chimney caps had rusted though which was causing the leak. He ordered the new cap and installed it the following week. New one is working fine........no more leak.

We were incredibly happy with the service we received from Atlanta Chimney Worx and would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone in the Atlanta area. We wanted to "upgrade" the fireplace in our 1940's home to be usable for the fall and winter ahead but were concerned that the cost might be too high. When my husband called Atlanta Chimney Worx, Arvydas came by the very next day to provide a quote for us (a Saturday, by the way). The quote he gave us to completely upgrade our fireplace and the chimney cap/damper on top was well within our price range and less than what we would have expected to pay. Four days later, Arvydas came by to install the goregous new, custom chimney cap, and two weeks later he came to install the new gas logs and patiently teach me how to operate them. The fireplace is now much more beautiful than I expected and the service Atlanta Chimney Worx provided was top notch. We look forward to recommending them to our family and frieinds with fireplace/chimney needs!

I purchased a Big Deal from Atlanta Chimney Worx for $249.00. I got a quick response to my purchase an received an email on when the provider was available and made an appointment. Arvydas came out an inspected the chimney and concluded that a cleaning was not necessary. He also went on top of the roof to look at the chimney. After his inspection he recommended that I get a custom cap, so the original coupon was not used. I contacted Angie's List and requested a refund, which was handled in a very professional and expedient way. After a couple of days I received a call from Arvydas that he had the new Chimney cap. I made a new appointment to get the Cap installed. He came out on Sunday and installed the new cap and was very professional. I was very happy with the installation.

Did a great job cleaning two chimneys in our home. Fast response time and took measures to keep area around fireplaces clean.

After getting a rather questionable estimate to replace a chimney cap that was rusted from an equally questionable company, we called Atlanta Chimney Worx. We called on a weekend and didn't expect to hear from theml until Monday, but to our surprise, Arvydas returned the call that day and came to house the same day. We had a chimney cap that had been left at this house, but had been told by the other company that it wasn't usable, not the right size. Arvydas was undaunted; he climbed on the roof, right then and there, and installed that cap with a few adjustments. An $800 job turned into a $200 job! Arvydas is personable, down right funny and a joy to do business with. He even came in to help us figure out how the gas fireplace worked, rearranged the logs to their proper positions and fixed the remote control. What more could you ask?

Recently I had a new roof installed. It turned out I had problems with my chimney as well. Cement was missing, bricks were missing, the chimney pot was loose, etc. Arvydas did a fantastic job repairing my chimney. He is responsive and professional. As we all know, fireplaces and chimneys can be problematic. He is truly a skilled craftsman and I will not hesitate to use him again in the future.

We heard thumping noises coming from the fireplace chimney and were concerned that something was broken or possibly an animal was in the chimney. Atlanta Chimney Worx promptly answered our phone call on a Saturday and we discussed the matter. A service call was scheduled for the following Monday. They were prompt to communicate and arrive at the scheduled time. The gentleman took the time to inspect both of our chimneys, including going up on our steep roof. Upon thorough inspection he advised us about a small issue he found but nothing significant. He spent a good amount of time and did not try to "sell" us on any extra service. We were charged what the advertised "special" was and nothing more. We were very pleased with the professional manner and honest assessment provided. Will use this company in the future.

Arvydas provided excellent service, well above and beyond what I expected or even paid for. He was prompt and professional and did the cleaning without any mess or smell. In both fireplaces he encountered some issues, one lost a couple bricks in the fire box and the other one's damper didn't open and close well. In both cases, he spent more time repairing and fixing the issues and didn't charge me extra claiming that a ladder I gave him in return was sufficient. I will have him back to install gas logs in another fireplace this fall. He was a joy to work with!

Arvydas was very honest and pleasant to deal with. We had 2 chimneys in our newly purchase house we wanted cleaned. He told us that one didn't even need to be cleaned. He pointed out a few things that we may want to do in the future to keep our eye on, but said we didn't need to do anything right now. On top of being so honest, they had the lowest price of the chimney companies we looked at, which is why we went with them in the first place. Very happy, will definitely use again.
