The technician, Thomas, started right at the appointed time, did an excellent job of cleaning my computer. He went above & beyond what you would expect. We would use this Company again & highly recommend them.

Somehow my laptop corrupted the operating system and would not even boot up. Alexander Technical Resources (Spencer) came to my house to try to repair my computer. We decided that my computer needed to go to their repair facility for some serious work. They were able to save all my data, ran thorough diagnostics and repaired my computer. It was such a relief that I did not loose and data. This is the second time I have used them. The first was to set up this very laptop and transfer all the data from my old PC. I would recommend Alexander Technical Resources and will use them for any other computer repairs.

I had a problem with the service and called them twice. They never called me back.

I felt like the money was more and I didn't know any better. I should've, you know, looked for another way of getting my little problem fixed.

The person called me and said that he was ready when I needed him, so it was a very good purchase. The person took all the time that was necessary to work on the computer. He was dependable. I got the appointment quickly.

Manufacturer replaced touchpad

I fell for a computer scam where the scammer claimed to be with a computer service firm contracted by Microsoft to repair a dangerous flaw with Windows 10. I was suspicious, but let them access my computer remotely. I hung up when they started talking about offering to protect my computer for a price. The Microsoft website describes these scams. I was worried that my computer was compromised so I called ATR and had them check my computer for maleware. I had to wait a day or two to get an appointment, but they contacted me at the scheduled time and performed the work remotely and efficiently. The ATR rep was courteous and and willing to spend time answering questions beyond the minimum required to service the computer. This is the second time I have used ATR and have been pleased both times.

The technician, Thomas< was on time and did an excellent job of restoring and cleaning up my computer which had been badly infected with a virus. Thomas spent 2 to 3 hours in the initial session then did another couple of hours with a follow up session. Great the to work with, knew what and how to do and got the job done. I was very satisfied with the Provider and their technician Thomas I highly recommend them.

I was called right on time at 11am. Spencer asked a few questions and immediately started working on my issues. I couldn't tell you all he did but he said their were many infections and he cleaned them all. He installed what I needed and uninstalled what I didn't need. He installed a better security system as well. I think Spencer went over the time just to make sure all my issues were resolved. He even took time to help me with an issue I was having posting pics in Face Book and this wasn't in the cleaning deal! I appreciated that very much!

A received an email thru Angie's List to call an 800 number to set up an appointment. I took the first one available, which was 3 days later at noon. I got an email about 15 minutes before appointment time which instructed me to click on a link to join the repair session and also got a phone call from Thomas, the tech who actually did the work. He walked me through what he planned to do and I told him about the PC issues and specific things I wanted to cleaned up if possible. For example, some stuff had been installed/configured for one of my husband's previous jobs, which I wanted gone. I could see everything he was doing. He explained that there were several scans he was going to run, which would take at least a couple of hours, so we didn't need to be on the phone. Instead, he'd call me toward the end. We hung up, and I did stuff around the house, look at the screen once in a while and saw something happening. 5 hours later, he called me and said the last processes were running. He noted that a virus had been running on this laptop since 2011 and there was 400+ instances of it! Fortunately, it was not destructive just annoying and he was able to remove all instances of it. This is what took so long. He also installed 2 free anti-virus, malware tools, which I can continue to use. The PC runs much faster and error-free. I'm especially happy the anti-virus software. I have another computer that I will likely schedule for the same service.

We determined that there was an improper installation of Windows 10 and I would have to reinstall the operating system.

My laptop started crashing often. It also started up slow. But the blue screen crashes were the worst. I got an offer email from Angie and decided to go for it, the price seemed reasonable to me. The tech who called me up was very nice and courteous. Overall the process went smoothly though it took a little longer than we thought because I have the crappiest internet around. Too bad that can not be fixed LOL. So when everything was done my computer never received another crash. Very pleased. Thank you Alexander Technical Resources. The 2-4 hour service lasted much longer only because my tech was having some issues getting my system to backup. But the service was thorough & seemed expertly performed. It did improve my bootup time by getting rid of junk files & unnecessary programs. He also downloaded a free software program to combat malware. Well worth the price I paid & I could follow along as he worked on my computer.

I attempted to purchase their service (as I have used them in the past) and because it was less than (1) year ago..."they" refused to do Business with me ! ...Unbelievable ! What Professional Business refuses to do business....? Only IDIOTS !

He called at the specified time. He listened to the problems and went about fixing it all. All I had to do was sit there at my desk and watch what he did. He took his time and took care of all the problems for the specified price. It took several hours. thank you.

They didn't do a good job because they were working on my computer for 4 hours and my husband said there was nothing improved. They didn't come, they called and then my husband let them fix the computer through the internet. This was surprising that I needed to call them and make an appointment and they never called me. This was more than a week and then they set up an appointment. Maybe they fixed something but my husband said that it was slow before and slow after. I didn't see any changes. I think it was overpriced.

We have used Alexander Technical Resources services to clean-up computers, both desk-top and lap-top, several times before. When they were done, the computers operated as they did when they were brand new, e.g. speedy and without bloatware and malware which inadvertently slips in because we occasionally click on something seemingly harmless out of curiosity. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are efficient, knowledgeable and obviously highly competent.

They did good. There was a misunderstanding it might have been on my part concerning the timing. Their punctuality was just a little bit off.

This is the second time I have used Alexander Technical Resources and have been very pleased both times. They contact you at the agreed upon time and are very professional and highly technically competent. I highly recommend them if you require technical assistance with your computer

Pretty good! I did not have a lot of problems before it started so they just kind of went over everything. I was on the phone active in all while he was doing it. He just went through and basically cleaned up the computer. He was pleasant and he was prompt, he did what he said he was going to do as far as I know and he did it in a timely manner.

Spencer was very professional, called me right away to set up the appointment, and had my my computer serviced the next day. He spent extra time on it since my internet was slow and did not charge me over the initial rate. He explained to me the danger of having a outdated computer and also emailed instructions on how to reboot my router to get my internet faster. I was very pleased with his services.
