I wanted a security system. I liked the monthly cost, so I called AMSA after reading about them in Angie's list. Clarence came the next day, and I explained what I wanted. He showed me the keypads and explained what possibilities existed for my size of house. He gave me a written proposal. I did not pay till after installation. I waited until school was out to make the appointment for the technician - about 2 weeks from the initial meeting. Matt came on the day and at the time expected. He took his time to look over the house to see where best to set up all the parts of the system. He discussed them with me, and once we had made the decision, he set to work. Within a very short time - or so it seemed - he had finished (a couple of hours + maybe?) He had to instal various bits and pieces for the system to work, but I wouldn't have known that he had ever been in the house because everything was totally cleaned up. He explained how the system worked and the various options I could choose. He also explained what it meant to have the system monitored. Within a few days, I had set off the alarm by mistake - transposed the numbers - Within 30 seconds, the phone rang, and the caller was from the monitoring center, asking if I was okay because the alarm had gone off. Wow! That's great service. I also had occasion to test the system, and the 3 times that I called them, each time was answered within 5 seconds max. They could also tell me exactly what alarm in the house had been set off. I am so happy that I used this company.

We tried to have our existing company fix this, and after two visits and $400 opted to go with this company. They came the day after we called, fixed our issue, and gave us a yearly rate less than half of what we were paying.

The installation was a nightmare. They took longer than indicated by the sales person. I called the office and they sent a supervisor to come out. He did and was able to get it done. They told me that the sales person never should have told me that it would take that amount of time. Once it was installed they did it right. It is cheap. I have set the alarm off several times since having it and they responded quickly.

We were satisfied with the price. The guy who came out was very helpful. We set off the alarm accidentally and they called right away, immediately. Everything is very professional and works well.

Inside the AMSA alarm box, bare wires or resistors are attached to a terminal strip in a not so tidy scheme. I was shocked at the sight of the (uninsulated) birds nest of bare wires. Makes me wonder whether a tidy (proper) installation might not have malfunctioned.

The service was great! They came out and looked at my old system which was not working. He just had to check the wiring. I have accidently set off the alarm before and they call immediately which I appreciate.

Very professional and honest employees and company. The salesperson presented as very professional and concerned about my needs instead of closing/making the sale. Installer very knowledgeable. Spoke with the President of the Company and was very impressed with his genuine concern that all my needs had been meet. I have had the service for approx. 1 year and have been very impressed with response time when we have accidently set the alarm off. I have worked as a Sales Person for Ackerman Security, Powercall Security (Southern Company) and ADT. I have also worked as a dispatcher in an Alarm Monitoring Center. While all these companies are good and respectable, in my opinion you can't find a better value for 12.95 per month, plus dealing with highly responsible, honest and dependable people. I am normally a brand name purchaser and have been pleasantly surprised/pleased with this decision.

We had had the alarm system deactivated because we had a dog. Since we had to go away in the summer, they had to basically come out and re-wire whatever they needed to for their company. My experience with them was great, and I was very pleased overall with what was done. They came out in a short span of time and initiated the system. When we did go away, the alarm was triggered and the company responded. The police came as well. Nothing happened to our house, and it was good to know that the alarm system worked. Everything was fine. My husband considered their price to be good.

They came out and set me up, and I was very happy with them. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.

In general the process of getting the alarm installed went very well. They showed up on time and completed the job within the time frame they provided. I had my house pre-wired and they were able to evlauate the wirring and determine the best method for installing my requested products. The trim outs they describe in their installation did not consist of caulking and painting surfaces they drilled for their installation but this was simple enough to correct on my own that I did not consider it a significant issue.

Excellent service from the technician who gave the quote to the ones who installed the system. Very quick response to the only issue we had, which was the placement of a monitor. The monitoring system has also been very good and the cost is very reasonable.

I went with them because of all of the positive reports for them on Angie's List. They are here in the area and locally owned. I like them and they are very professional. Their price is very competitive. I am paying a little bit more than I did before but I'm feeling better about it.

Everything went fine. They showed up on time and called before to let me know they were on the way. It works seemingly fine, I just haven't yet had an emergency.

Went well. A ceiling tile was damaged but the technician did every thing possible to remedy the problem. The installation ended up costing more because some of the door alarms had to be wireless, instead of wired. However, the monthly monitoring service is much less expensive than the competition.

The job was done fantastically, very professional. We couldn't have been more pleased. Installation tech cleaned up afterwards. Great installation and only $11.95/month monitoring. I still find it hard to believe.
