Sutton's Service Inc

Called Sutton Tuesday afternoon on July 26th. We scheduled the appointment for Wednesday July 27th between 1 and 2. Tech arrived on time, assessed the problem, and informed me that he would have to order a part. Tech cleaned up after himself and was gone in an hour. Somebody called later in the afternoon quoted a price and we scheduled the next appointment for Friday July 29 between 1 and 3. Tech arrived on time, preformed the service, clean up after himself and was gone by 3. Both techs were very pleasant and professional. Price seemed very fair. Would certainly use Sutton again and recommend to others.

I left a message for Sutton at 8:15 AM. I received a return phone call by 8:50 AM. They were able to schedule a technician to arrive at my home by 10:15 AM same morning. The clothes dryer was working but there was no heat being produced. Parker from Sutton arrived on time, determined the problem was a broken heating coil, installed a new heating coil, cleaned up the area and was done within 1/2 hour.

I called on short notice, and they were able to fit me into an already full schedule. Parker arrived a short time later and did the work without delay.

We were very pleased with the service. After the serviceman fixed the original problem (stiff paper in the motor), he noticed that the dishwasher leaked a little when he was running it (empty) to test it out. I had noticed the same problem in the past, but it only occurred when the dishwasher was completely empty, so I had not been concerned. The serviceman worked with it for around 30 min to see if he could fix it since he was afraid it might get worse. He cleaned the seals and readjusted/leveled the dishwasher position. He almost got the leak stopped, but not entirely. He didn't charge us for the extra time spend on that problem since he felt he didn't really get it fixed. I appreciated his going the extra mile to see if he could that fixed and did not charge us for it. We'll definitely be using this service again and will recommend to my friends.

Washer stopped working on Mon., 4/26 (with a load of towels in it). Called Sutton's and scheduled appointment for Wed., 4/28, between 2 & 4 p.m. Jeff called on Wed., to say he would be here around 3 or 3:30. He arrived around 3 and was finished in about 30 minutes. I have used Sutton's for more than 20 years. They have repaired appliances for me in three different homes over the years. They are always prompt, professional and reasonable. I wouldn't think of using anyone else for major appliance repairs.

Sutton was able to come within a day after calling. Right on time. Needed to replace tub bearing and some other fixtures. One part not in truck and repair person went back to shop with tub and came back within an hour. Also able to fix dishwasher arm. I was impressed with the quality of service, his expertise and courtesy.

When I called to request service, I was asked to give the model and serial number of the machine and the part that was damaged. The technician scheduled an appointment, arrived promptly with the correct part and completed the work successfully. He was very pleasant and efficient. Our washer now works better than it did when it was new!

They diagnosed the problem on the telephone and ordered the parts. They called me before they came and installed the new part and left. Everything turned out fine and it was easy to do business with them.

Sutton's was professional throughout the entire process. We look foward to calling them again to repair a dishwasher and trash compactor that another repair service can't seem to permanently fix.

Called Sutton to check a dryer in which the drum had stopped turning. The motor still ran but the drum would no longer turn at all. The problem was diagnosed as the felt band in the front of the dryer becoming adhered to the drum probably during several high heat cycles. He advised he had never seen this type of problem before. They did not carry the replacement parts which had to be ordered. This was a Wednesday and the parts did not come in until late Friday evening. They do not work weekends so the dryer was not repaired until the following Monday. While he was there I asked if he could rebalance the washing machine which had begun to shake the floor some (2nd floor) as well as clean the dryer ducts. The first visit they charged 45.00 for the travel fee. They did not charge this fee again for the return trip on Monday. All together, parts and labor the total was 155.00. The repairman was courteous and concise in explaining costs and repairs. Upon initial contact with the company, I left a voicemail as no one answered. I received a call back within 15 minutes and arranged for the appointment. I would use this service again. The only down side would be that they do no work the weekends.

Charge to come out was very reasonable and had a pump for replacement on same day.

I liked that I was able to call them at 4:30 in the afternoon and they were at my house at 5:00 p.m. They had the part that I needed and did the work quickly. He was gone by 5:30 and my food did not defrost.

I like that they are local. They arrived prepared after hearing the symptoms of the ice maker on the phone. He took a look at it and fixed it. He them swept the floor behind the unit. He was professional and had a nice personality.

I was very satisfied with the man who showed up. He was appropriately dressed. He was here when he said he would be. The quality of the work was good. I was comfortable having them in my home.

He came when he said he would, he worked quickly, and did what he had to in order for us to not have any problems in the future. He was professional and answered my questions.

Arrived an hour early with 15 minutes notice; completed work within an hour. Efficient, effective, courteous. In the scheduling call, they asked for all of the make/model information and symptoms and came with the necessary parts. A bit pricey, but if you want it "one and done", they are a good choice.

I scheduled a service call because the control board had died on my oven. The oven suddenly started working again, so I canceled the call. Needless to say, the oven stopped working again a couple days later, so I called and rescheduled a visit. Meanwhile, they ordered the part and were careful to get my oven's serial number in addition to the model number so they would get the right part. We were 99% certain that the control board was bad, but I was assured they could return the part at no cost if it turned out to be something else. That way, they didn't need to make two trips. They tested the fuse before removing the control board, just to be sure that wasn't the problem. Then they removed the trim, pulled out the oven and replaced the board. Put everything back the way it was and in the process made a small nick in my wall. I haven't noticed it since that day. Tested all controls and ran both ovens for a while to be sure everything was working. Oven works now. I'm happy.

Excellent. They were on time and brought the parts and tools they needed.

They did a great job and at a reasonable cost.

It took Sutton's three trips to repair my dryer and each time I had to pay them. It cost me $250 altogether and that is still cheaper than a new dryer. I will not call them again. It was too much of a hassle.

They were also very knowledgeable and they knew what they were doing. They were very prompt and courteous. We had the work done just yesterday.

Service call was prompt and timely. Very professional and thorough.
