Inital contact was made through Angie's List. I heard back from Kevin within a few hours - on a Saturday afternoon.The work was scheduled for the following Monday morning. According to my spouse, the work took all of 5 minutes as the equipment used was "top shelf". The stump is gone and we are pleased. Other than the mulch that was left behind (at our request), there is no evidence we had any machinery in our yard; ruts, tire tracks, torn up grass, etc. The entire process was fast, efficient, professional, and the results achieved were exactly what we had asked for. It doesn't get any better than this. A+ all around.

Kevin Grady asked a few questions on the phone: size?, area? water lines - but then he knew the area and that the water lines would not be a problem, cable? no, I have satellite, internet issues? no, wireless, home phone or phone line to a fax?, yes, but along the side of the house. Ok, quoted his $125 minimum but when he heard Angie's List, took off $10. Arrived at the house within 30 minutes, handed me an estimate in writing, along with material on the business. The job is completed, stumps gone, looks great, all smoothed over and raked, and a smile and thank you as he left. WOW!!

We had some trees removed, one of which left behind a massive stump. We had called another company we used in the past, but after two no-shows, we called the Stump Grinder Company. They did the work the next day, the price was reasonable and they were professional!

Answered phone himself. Asked me to measure stump and gate and send pictures. Came out and estimated. Tried to remove stump eariler in the week but the ground was too wet for his equipment to get up the hill. Came back Friday and removed the stump. Very prompt, polite and accomidating. Did however, leave a 40 lb chunk of root that had been above ground but attached until the rest was ground away. I didn't notice until he left but if I did I would have asked him to cut it into smaller pieces. Overall good job.

Kevin arrived on time and confirmed the price. He completed the job as expected and cleaned up the area where he worked.

Kevin did a good job, was neat and responsive. His equipment kept our turf in good shape. He refilled the hole with the wood chips and re-raked the pine bark mulch over the area. He uses safe equipment, got to work quickly and completed the job efficiently. He also has all the licenses and insurance. This is important to us when it comes to jobs involving potentially hazardous equipment.

Kevin ground out a very large stump that was very tricky to get with fences and old metal poles around it. He surveyed the problems told us what we needed to do to get the site ready for him to do the job and he went at it and completed it in 30 minutes. Due to the extra site prep we needed to do when he came out he needed to come back the next day. He was prompt on both occassions.

This stump was difficult to get to, but Kevin found a way to be able to remove it. As always I have been very pleased to use Kevin for any stump removals.

I called the day before and he promptly scheduled an appointment for the next day and showed up on time. He has a very nice piece of equipment that does a great job removing the stumps. He was professional and responsive. I'd recommend him for any stump removal work. Just a note: that is all he does. He does not do other tree work but is great at stump removal.

I called and he came the same morning. Ground out 9 large stumps; 8 pine and one hardwood. He was skilled, courteous, made cost effective suggestions, and used 1st quality equipment that was well maintained. He was neat and concerned for the look of the property once his work was completed. He is very safety conscious of himself, others and our property. This is a quality business person who does 1st quality work for a reasonable cost. He is appreciative of the business he receives. I have recommended him to others and would do so again. I would use his services again should the need arise.

Stump Grinder Company LLC. was super nice to work with. They work hand in hand with Tree Tailors and this makes their service very convenient. We didn't have to worry about contacting them or explaining what we needed. This outfit is very good. I highly recommend them.

Perfect. Took less than 1 hour. Nothing damaged. Handled a backyard that has quite a slope on it with no problems.

We are having a fence put in, so we had some trees cut down and then called Stump Grinders. Kevin told me exactly what the minimum charge was, his pricing structure and how to measure. I called him back and left a message with an approximate measurement and asked could he come that afternoon. He lives so close to my house he was here while I was out, so I missed him. I called him again and we discussed the problem with my property - sloped and wooded, with lots of underbrush and it was hard to get to all the stumps on the fence line. He said he'd do what he can. When he came back we walked the property, clearly marking the stumps to be removed and he measured them. Told me the price and got to work right away. Kevin worked like a surgeon to get to as many stumps as he could and had advice for getting rid of the rest. He did not charge more for the extra work negotiating our challenging yard. Owner Kevin Grady returns calls quickly, and it was easy to schedule a next-day appointment to have him come to the house and grind away a large (44 inch diameter) tree stump. Kevin arrrived on time. His equipment is top-of-the-line. Kevin did the job quickly with excellent clean-up afterwards. This is the second time I've used Stump Grinder. I was totally satisfied with the work both times and I would use this company again.

I called Kevin first thing Monday morning. He was on the job by 10:30. Their pricing system is very simple, allowing you to generate your own estimate. The job was surveyed & completed in no time. Excellent!

My property is actually outside of their normal work area. I was resigned to having to find and use a service from out of the Yellow Pages. Kevin called me the day after advising he didn't go that far north and, after hearing of my lack of success finding a suitable contractor, offered to come out and do the work on Saturday. He was on time, did the work very quickly, and charged a very reasonable price for his services. I will recommend him to anyone within his area of service and would hire him again if he is willing to come out my way.

Kevin Grady puts other service people to shame. Very professional. He shows up on time, returns phone calls immediately, is very easy to deal with. When is the last time you got a 'thank you' note from someone who did work for you? My only gripe is that the price was a little steep. I think the job looked more dangerous than it was (there was a risk of him and his $38,000 stump grinding machine falling down into the hole). I would definitely use this firm again and would recommend him to others.

Kevin was easily reached on his cell phone and was at my home and the job completed and cleaned up in two hours. His level of service and expertise cannot be beat.

Very friendly & efficient. We called in the morning & he was there that afternoon at the exact time promised. Plus, he called 30 minutes before his arrival time. He cleaned up the area after he finished. Used powerful equipment which made the job go quickly. Would definitely use again.
